What is offensive is to be scolded by Hamzeh Saraireh that "several attempts have been made " to reach me by phone and he wants to be certain I understand How important a colonoscopy is. If I wanted another colonoscopy, believe me, I would call. You don't need to "robo call" me regarding an appointment I do not have and did not make. The last colonoscopy resulted in damn near killing me. Did I mention I am 79? You want to be sure I don't get colon cancer so I can live to be 100 ? Get real. Stop the calls and stop the letters. Perhaps you should work more on branding than wondering just how informed I may be.

This office is absolutely terrible. The office staff are rude and horrible at their jobs. Nothing…read moreever gets done in a timely mannor. I am constantly given wrong information. It takes weeks if not longer to get referrals or procedures scheduled and it usually only gets done after calling the office multiple times. When you call, it's a miracle if you get to speak to someone right away, usually your placed on hold for awhile, or you get the office voicemail in which case don't bother leaving a message because no one returns the calls anyway. Same thing with the patient portal, takes days to get a response if at all. After seeing the same NP for 16 years, she dropped me as a patient and didn't even have the nerve to tell me herself, just cancelled me appointment 2 hours before it claiming she had an "unexpected emergency" and wouldn't be seeing patients that day and scheduled me with another NP who I'd never seen before. That NP was awful. She proceeded to tell me my issues were all "IBS" and if I took a laxative I would be better. When I informed her I have never been diagnosed with IBS and that laxatives make me deathly ill, that I have had several tests showing I have severe gastroparesis and intestinal dismotility, but that my colon transit is fine, she told me IBS is a symptom not a disease and I would feel better if I took a laxative. We also spoke about my medications and she wanted me to be sent to Beth Isreal Motility Clinic in Boston. The next day she called me back to tell me that my NP would no longer be seeing me because she had nothing left to offer me and all my future visits would be with her. She also went back on everything she told me about my medications and told me she doesn't want to do anything until I am seen by Beth Isreal. Yes, I completely expressed my frustrations to them as I have been sick since November after letting them talk me into a surgery that has made me worse, and I am not set to be seen in Boston until mid October, and they are leaving me to suffer in the meantime without the medications I have been on for the past 11 years. Today I got a letter in the mail saying that although they realize that the situation is frustrating, that they feel it is best that I find a new GI doctor. This used to be a great office but the past few years the level of care has declined so much. With the exception of 1 or 2 NP's (Susan and Heidi) and Dr. Maddock the rest of the office is terrible.
