As a client, they meet our staffing needs quickly and with good quality candidates. They are very responsive. Joan is very helpful.

This place is a joke…read more I was contacted for a position that was described as a role that closely matched my experience. The recruiter was very reluctant to give me any specific information on the phone regarding the opportunity but assured me I seemed like a good fit for the role. She assured me of this after I spent 15 or more minutes describing what I was looking for as well as my salary range. When I went in for interview, not only was there a homely and unprofessional receptionist to greet me (who made it very clear she was miserable in her role) She was rude and combative and treated me like I was incompetent. I waited 20 minutes for my interview after spending 20 minutes filling out confusing paperwork. Once the girl came in to conduct my interview she clearly knew little about the opportuitnty and obviously made it clear that she hadn't reveiwed my qualifications at all based on her questions and assumptions about my background. I am currently working and making $42K with 100% paid benefits. She offered me a position that was a 2 week temporary assignment with no long term commitment making $15/hr. NO THANK YOU! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS GROUP.

I love the Oakbrook Terrace Office Team staff. They have been great from the start. The team here,…read morereally puts " a face" on what would otherwise be just another "employment agency." They actually work with you, and get to know you personally. They don't hold what I consider to be my own neurotic idiosyncrasies against me. For example, I don't like working more than a few miles from home, even if it limits me. If I don't want to do a job, they don't hold it against me. I actually believe they prefer that rather than saying yes to a job, and not showing up. And they are quick to remember you if you help them out in a tough spot. Another thing I like is that they have a bunch of "fun stuff" and little jobs, to make quick cash from. It seems they are the go-to employment agency for all sorts of different types of events and activities. They are not limited to just office and clerical work. These guys seem to pay very well too. It's like they check out what type of work you will be doing, and you seem to get top notch pay for the job at hand. Even the super easy jobs seem to be above average pay. I think the only "con" in the beginning was that you don't know what a place is like until you get there, but they really do seem to screen their clients well. If you don't like a place, you don't have to be afraid to tell them. They won't hold it against you. They understand not everybody is right for every job. I usually work with Zoe, Erin and Vince. I have high regards for this team, I honestly could not do what they do for a million dollars a year.

I've replied to texts--nothing. Or I finally get a response days later, if at all. What's most frustrating is the complete lack of follow-through. I've applied to several positions and it feels like my applications just disappear into a void with no acknowledgment or feedback whatsoever. Job searching is already stressful enough without being ignored by the very people who are supposed to help. I expected professionalism and basic communication, and unfortunately, that was not my experience.

However, I was so disappointed in the employers, especially the Robert Half human resources department. There needs to be much better equal opportunity training and equal opportunities with the employers and Robert Half! I suggest equal opportunity training from the EEOC. Looking for work can be a full-time job in itself. I recommend looking into Linkedin, other staffing agencies, and federal government careers as alternative solutions. I also suggest furthering one's education as well. Luckily, there are greener pasters elsewhere!

Absolutely awful. I was contacted by Office Team about a job opening. There was a message left on…read moremy voicemail. I call back and get the rep's voicemail. I didn't hear anything for a week. I then received a call from another rep asking if I could come down for an interview. The interview was easy and we basically talked about what I was looking for in a career, hours, pay, etc. I even filled out all the forms for W2 and more. They wanted me to even hand a voided check for direct deposit (Thank God I didn't). For all intensive purposes, I was now an employee of their company. So I was told in 2-3 weeks, I would be placed with one of their clients and "it was pretty much guaranteed" that I would find something. I left the office feeling good that an opportunity would come my way. Two weeks go by and nothing. Three weeks go by and still nothing. I emailed my contact rep and no response. I've call and I only get his voicemail and no call back. I was even told during the interview that if I found a position on their website to give them a call and I could be placed sooner. Nothing. This was back in March and I still haven't heard anything. I know temp agencies don't always have work, but damnit don't give someone a timetable if you know you can't fulfill it. And what's with the unreturned calls and emails? Totally unprofessional.

They asked me if I can work full-time but I was only looking for part-time employment. Few days later, Frank called me and asked me if I will be available to work 20 hours per week in downtown Naperville, IL which I agreed. He then said he setup an interview with the company, he gave me the date but said he will send me the details (address etc) later on. He never called me back to give me the detail or inform me that the interview date has been changed. He did the same several times and even called me to ask me how the interview was though he never provided me the location or company to go to for an interview. Finally, he gave me the address and gave me the date for an interview and said he will confirm but never called back. He called me yesterday, 6 months later, and said he had an assignment for me. I informed him that I was not available and will not be available for a while. He asked me if I was employed and when will I be available. I informed him that I will not be available forever. Despite my response he kept asking me if I was employed, what I was doing, and when I will be available. He was very pushy and wants to know my personal business. Then he texts me saying if I was upset. They were very inconsiderate for my time and not kind. Is this how Accounttemps employees treat individuals who are looking for employment? I hope Accounttemps corrects this.

In their unfriendly behavior they make it clear they see you as a nuisance and not as an asset. I requested to reschedule an interview, and they mouthed off at me as if I was a child asking them to do me a favor and began to lecture and accuse me rather than doing their job. I am a busy salaried professional and it took a lot of effort to keep my composure. It's ironic because I was giving them the benefit of the doubt despite multiple low-star reviews and the fact I already had offers elsewhere to choose from. The only reason I didn't explode over the phone is because their client was a decent, large company and I wanted to see if they would do the reasonable thing for their client and simply arrange to reschedule the interview. As of the time of this review, they haven't sent me anything. Well, I'm done. Now their client is short an employee. I wouldn't trust this company in any capacity due to their low standards of professionalism, communication, and professional engagement. If you want to get hired at a large company, just go to their website. Using a middleman who's sloppy, passive aggressive, unprofessional, and most importantly not acting in your best interest can cost you valuable opportunities and obstruct the hiring process. You do not want these people to handle your resume or in any way be involved in your employment search. They will ---- it up big time and act like it's nothing. You absolutely cannot count on these people. Do not let them anywhere near your resume. HANDLE YOUR JOB SEARCH YOURSELF.

On Friday afternoon I had a pleasant, professional chat with a young lady named Sam. We arranged for a 2pm video call/interview for the following Tuesday. She said she would send me a link where I could forward my resume. Link never arrived. I called Monday and was told 'she's out of the office today'. I left a message ON HER VOICEMAIL inquiring about the link. No return call. Tuesday afternoon NO video call/interview. At 2:10 I called and was told, 'There is no one by that name here.' Seriously I can't figure out how THESE people have a job and I'm the one looking for work. UPDATE: I waited until later in the afternoon, blocked my number, called again and asked for Sam. Sure enough the receptionist was more than happy to put me thru to the person she earlier had insisted didn't work there. Rotten Liars!!!!

I recently relocated to Illinois from California. I immediately wanted to contact Robert Half…read more(Office Team) because I had such a great experience with them in LA. I was contacted by Samm pretty quickly and had one interview set up immediately and another scheduled a couple weeks later, which is why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. The first interview went well and the job matched my qualifications, other than they wanted industry experience and I had none in manufacturing. The second one I knew I was overqualified, but I decided to go on the interview anyway. I was right and it was clear the position wasn't one that was for me. Following those interviews, I was told by Samm that she had the perfect position for me twice and then did not hear anything else regarding either position. Based on the titles, I was fairly certain I was not qualified - she did tell me the company for one so I went to the company's website to look at the job description (since I never received one from her) and it required 7-10 years of recruiting, which I clearly did not have. I assumed the clients passed on me because I didn't have the experience, but I don't know for sure because I never heard back from Samm. After a month, I even sent her a follow up asking if she had any other positions that I may be qualified for, or if she could pass me on to another recruiter. I never got a response back. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Job hunting can be stressful, especially in circumstances like mine when you don't have a position lined up due to a move across the country. I was hoping Robert Half would help take some of my stress away, but unfortunately they have added a bit. I definitely do not recommend using this specific branch as a job seeker or as an employer. I'm an HR professional that needs to utilize temporary employees from time to time and I will be sure to never use this branch in the future. I was hoping that my proven track record with the branch in LA would be to my benefit, but that does not seem to be the case. This branch lacks the professionalism and lacks an understanding of matching applicants to the appropriate jobs.
