I went to take a typing test at this location & it was the worst experience I've ever had. There was an employee there yelling/screaming as she was talking. It was so distracting that I couldn't focus. I had to stop my attempt half way through because I couldn't focus with her being so disruptive. I even tried headphones to block her out but nothing worked. She was aware I was there for a typing test too. I definitely do not recommend this place for a typing test. I am very upset with how I was treated by the owner of this company Bob Daniel. I went in, had my interview, was told to redo my resume because he would not hire me because of that, was told I need to take a few assessment tests. I spent 6 hours at Job Connect in 2 days, finished my 7 assessment tests I was told to take, re wrote my resume two days ahead of the schedule I was given to do so, called him back to let him know, he told me that my "customer service and telephone etiquette assessment tests were outstanding" and said give him the day today to look everything over and he would call me back. That was over 2 weeks ago! I called almost daily the first week, but it's like he told the whole office to ignore me. (I EXPECTED BETTER FROM YOU TAMLA AFTER OUR TALK) I feel betrayed by this company that is supposed to help you better yourself and help you find work. I will be calling the better business bureau. I agree with those that gave this place a 1 star review. If I could I would give "0". They called me X an appointment, I go over there. Shitty place. I should have left ASAP, but I thought oh well "give them a try". Filled out all the paper work, stupid interview. Just remember some of these paper work contain important data. I called and emailed them regarding the assessment they said were supposed to send. NEVER heard anything. I really donot care about the position at all. They did not even have one in the first place I think. What I am upset with right now is my PERSONAL DATA, social security #, driver license etc... If they do not have a matching position they should NEVER collect these info. I will call prosecutor office to see what are the rules. read more

I went through the natural progression steps. First spoke with the Recruiter: James McCoy, who seemed like a nice fellow. I was sent skills tests via email and completed them online. The scores were sent to PrideStaff ahead of time for my scheduled interview. I showed up and asked for James whom I've spoken to initially, but he was not in the office, so was interviewed briefly by Kaci, or Casey, not sure how her name is spelled. She went over my test scores and asked me general questions like what my desired salary is, and what type of employment I was looking for. You have to spend about 15-20 minutes filling out the required paperwork before you sit down and talk to someone. I was told if there was a match then they would call me. I have called their offices at least once a week to follow up to see if there was more I can do. I was told they would contact me. It's been more than 3 weeks now and I have called them at least 6 times for a status. Just today I called, and was put on hold for over 10 minutes, at which time I just hung up. I'm not sure what their workloads are like, but it doesn't appear as if there is any urgency for them to help you. For all I know, my case folder/file could be sitting in a file drawer somewhere collecting dust. All that a job seeker such as myself is asking for is some Communication and a status once in awhile. We shouldn't have to be the ones that call you multiple times a week, to see what that status is. If you don't have jobs that fit my skills set that's okay, just let me know that you're at least thinking or working on my case. You may be behind in working through all the applicants, but an email or voicemail takes only a few minutes. Until the communication lines get shored up, at least at this Vegas office, I would recommend going elsewhere like Robert Half/Office Team, where they seem to communicate more effectively. read more

This was my first time working for a temp agency so I don't have anything to compare it to. It took about a week and a half to be assigned to a placement. Work hours fluctuates quite often. Some weeks you could be working anywhere from 20-40 hours. The next week or two, you may not get any assignments at all. On average, I had about 2 or 3 days of work per week. Pridestaff implemented an online scheduler called "When I Work." If you're cellphone/internet saavy, it works like a charm! Download the app on your phone and you'll be able to pick up shifts, drop shifts, etc. I am giving 3 stars because of this new system! As for customer service, the staff is very nice. James McKoy was extremely helpful, pleasant, and timely responds to emails. Bob Daniel's intensions were good. He's approachable and wants you to contact him directly. He's timely in contacting you back but has a tendency to forget your request and/or the conversation you discussed with him. Things were much better once he implemented the new "When I Work" system, as I didn't need to contact him. Overall, my experience was ok but could have been much better if more hours were available. If you're okay with being able to pay one or two bills while looking for full-time work, then you'll get by working with this agency. read more

WORST TEMP AGENCY I've ever been to. They had me come in and the lady I met with (which was the receptionist as well?) first told me my salary range wasn't realistic for an office job and that unless I had 40 years experience I should be grateful for $9/hr, pretty sure 2 years prior I was making way more than that in an office position. Then they told me as I walked out, to hurry and do the computer testing because they have an executive position that would be perfect for me. Never heard about that job position ever again, though I called in every week to check in, they never had any assignments for me. Weeks after meeting with them, I receive a call from the receptionist saying she had an assignment for me, it was at the convention center, handing out flyers dressed up in a Koala suit. As I graciously declined this most pathetic offer, I was promptly told that since I denied them, I would be put at the bottom of the list because they help clients that help them first. It would be one thing if I had told them I was desperate and I would do anything. As a professional, I was offended that with my experience this was the type of job they thought was a good fit for me?! I was in shock because I read such great reviews on Yelp about this temp. Totally horrified with my experience. Most unprofessional temp agency I've ever encountered. How dare they think threatening someone into doing an assignment that is totally out of their scope is acceptable. I will never refer any friend or foe to this unprofessional agency. I hope I save one person from wasting their valuable time on this disgusting place. read more

This was one of the worst employment agencies I have ever signed up with. Total waste of time! First, I applied to a position they had posted online. I was contacted and sent several online assessments which I spent almost 2 hours completing. Next, I was scheduled for an "interview" which was a total joke. The interview consisted of about 2 questions from a completely disinterested guy. I had to ask about my test scores which I scored above average on all. I do not think they even had a position to begin with. Their postings are more than likely fake and are used to build their pool of candidates.
