I submitted an application and immediately received a call from Aron to schedule an interview. I was genuinely excited. However, when I arrived, his energy was completely different--none of the friendliness he showed on the phone was there. I provided all the required documents and my reference contacts, completed the process, and left. About an hour later, Aron called saying he 'did not upload' my ID and Social Security card. That was strange because I had definitely handed them to him. Even though I was already across town, I agreed to return. On my way home afterward, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Then I received another call from him--this time reminding me to send my reference information. I texted back, letting him know I had already provided all of that during the appointment. At that point, I started losing confidence. These are basic steps in his role, and the repeated mistakes were concerning. Since then, I haven't heard from him at all. It's been over a month. Every time I reach out, I'm told to 'call next week,' but nothing ever moves forward. I'm not sure why he was so warm and encouraging on the phone--telling me I had very transferable skills--yet acted completely different in person. At this point, I've lost confidence that he's actually trying to place me anywhere. It feels like I was sent back and forth across town for no reason. Had a great initial experience with RH. The company I worked for back in Cali went through a merger and laid everyone off. They chauffeured in Team Half Long Beach edition to assist with the transition and I was connected with this Vegas agency. I did everything from the interview, provided documents, completed online assessments, and then my rep vanished. If your wondering, this was in 2020. Two months pre-Covid lockdown. Everything was truly seamless. Nailed each aspect without a hitch and scored beautifully. Maybe I was asking for too much money? Even still, I kept our lines of communication open at all times. I was more than willing to adjust. I contacted so many people within the agency & received no response past the first week or two of pleasantries. It's December 21st and I have left multiple messages for her to call me dating back to October. No calls back. I've also received calls from 2 other women with RH (Different location, not the Vegas office) who have said they got me jobs but then ghosted me. WTH? I'm a great employee and have worked very hard for them, even when the assignment turned toxic. When I have called again and asked to speak to anyone but her, I'm told she is the only one handling Administrative Assistants. I'm done. You sign up with a company, they promise you the sun, the moon, yeah, we can get you a position, quickly and easily, just come in and fill their applications out. They will lie, cheat and steal to get you in the door.... and once you do, you sit down, take assessment tests by the boatload, then have one interview with your representative if you're lucky and then.... *crickets*. Have you ever seen that P and A commercial where the existing customer is made to wait while new clients "always take priority"? Say hello to the day-to-day operations at Robert Half! All they care about is getting people to sign on the dotted line, and once you do, you're lucky if you even get to talk with your representative once in the following year. You're lucky if your representative works there the following year. It gets better. Sometimes they just send you a form letter that sounds nice on paper but it's all just used with mail merge. In other words, they don't even have time for you if you're not a perfect fit with their mold, they just leave you to die with a letter that takes 30 seconds to compose. Did these people forget that you need money to live or that only working pays bills? Yes, they did! it doesn't matter to them whether they hire you or not, their jobs are safe and secure. 10 out of 10 creditors prefer money to excuses when bills need to be paid. Your odds of getting hired by this company? 5 to 8%. That's right. 92 to 95% of people go through the process, get promised everything and then their results? Nothing. All you have to do is look on job sites like Monster or Career Builder. They leave positions unfilled for 3 to 4 weeks, and why? Because they don't care on either end. Some rat in the company forged my signature and underpaid me. They promised to fix this issue and lied claiming they mailed me a check I never received. I started looking for work back in late 2016, Robert Half was very helpful and secure me a short term temp position. When I was in between jobs, they would check in every once in a while to see if I'm still searching and gave a few interviews here and there. Now I'm back searching for work and Robert Half is no where to found. They would call me multiple time for positions they think I will like or I might be good for and when I return their call, they would not return my call to let me know either way. I don't need promises but at least follow through in communicating with your clients/customers. If you offered that position to someone else, at least have the decency to follow through and to let me know. I used to like their company over others. read more

By far the worst recruiting company. First off, they don't do recruiting for their clients. I or other clients have to go search on the Robert Half job forums for jobs that you're interesting in applied for. When you find a job you email or call the recruit handler about it. But they NEVER reply back while the job post remains active weeks later. Some handlers constantly have a full voicemail box. At times they send you job opportunity too with a handler you have to either call or email your resume to. Same thing happens, mailbox is either full or they never response to your email. You have a better chance of find a job when you update your experience and resume on LinkedIn and having a cold texter LinkedIn recruiter fishing you out! Let me call out some people. Haily is suppose to be a Sr Tech Recruiter but after speaking with her for 5-10 minutes which she only had time for it was a lost was cause! She is not very well educated in tech or any engineering recruitment. She doesn't know simple terminology and wouldn't know the difference between web developer, front-end, back-end, full-stack or even know the difference between a computer programmer vs software engineer. Anyways, after that conversation I never heard back from her again when I reply to he new job opportunities email or seeing a job on Robert Half's forum. Like I said before, she is a lost cause. Next on the list is Alexis who is the branch manager in Las Vegas but is handling job listings in Silicon Valley. I just don't have any idea how that is manageable and who also manages Haily. She is a quick responder to emails but I can always see through her white lies. I had previous experience with Robert Half a couple years ago when they got me a 3-month contract to hire job which ended up being a 9-month contract to hire job and wasn't even anywhere near what Robert Half said the salary should be. I was also system admin with superuser access to their ERP system dug into the account/billing relationship between that company of Robert Half and it was surprising. I've delt with many Robert Half recruiters over a 5+ year span and it's all the same, they don't response or they drag you on and on thinking this is a potential for you. Be aware, salary is never as promising and a hefty chunk goes to RH when you're a contract worker and when a company decided to hire you full time they have to payout a large chunk for you which effect you salary. Even to this extent, RH clearly had budget cuts themselves shifting San Jose (Silicon Valley) handlers to Vegas! You really think the Entertainment Industry can handle and recruiter that went to community colleges can recruit for multi billions $ engineering enterprises? What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! Essentially you yourself is looking through Robert Half job post and their recruiters where likely never contact you. They don't do the recruiter for you. You have to do the recruiter yourself and apply and Robert Half gets the huge payday. It's a sham. Just Google RH and your see the reviews beyond Yelp. BTW - absolutely no big enterprise companies uses Robert Half. So essentially new or low-budget companies that don't pay you anything. It's a lose lose and you shouldn't waste your time with Robert Half. It's pretty much self evident when you checkout each Robert Half recruiter personnel LinkedIn profiles. It's pretty simple and I'm just telling clients that are looking for a recruiter that you have to recruit the recruiter and fish out the real ones and ROBERT HALF ISN'T IT. At times, I sometime think that these low class recruiters don't even know how to operate or even check they own voicemail boxes. I for one would even check voicemail and even respond to emails when off hours if I were a recruiter for any company. I struggle to comprehend this. Do these Robert Half recruiters not know that each client they help place a job in is a big payday? Do they not know that Robert Half takes a huge cut for each contract worker or know how much each company has to buyout each client when they transition from a Robert Half contract to hire to their own full time employee? Either Robert Half the company itself is shamming its own employees or they can't comprehend anything and how to make money. read more

I think Robert half is a good company in general just not in Las Vegas at least not the convention division. I've lost major convention assignments because office team aka Robert half asked me to work a certain convention and then never told me the assignment was cancelled. Meanwhile I had other agencies who contacted me for the same convention but I turned them down because I THOUGHT I was already booked with office team. Actually right now as I type this review i'm still trying to figure out if i'm working September 15th-17th for a convention I know nothing about. Jay, the convention manager doesn't respond to calls, text, or emails. They just leave you in limbo. The communication is non existing so I decided not to accept any more assignments. I called the office yesterday, not a holiday, I tried to reach a professional one, no one was answering the phone call at the main line at 3:30 pm! That happened on Wednesday, July 3rd. I received a call from the Office team location in Arlington. Mind you, I had only been here for one week. I went to the office they made copies of my drivers license. I had a great experience with Office Team. They understood the general position I was interested in and did not deviate from that. Not like other temp agencies that try to match you with whatever they have available, and not the position you are experienced in. Office Team found me assignments within the week I met with them. The only negative I would say is that at first, they found me assignments that went below the salary range I requested, but if you are persistent and remind them the salary range you are shooting for, they will try to compensate you accordingly. They were very efficient, and spoke with me weekly to see how my assignments were going, whether I was happy there and answered any and all questions I had.
