When heat was finally turned on, it was loud, unreliable, and sprayed rust-colored water. It made sleeping nearly impossible. The lease clearly stated that heat was included -- but that wasn't the case in reality. The building management was unresponsive and negligent. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Tenants deserve better. Thankfully, I've since moved and finally feel safe and comfortable. But this was an unacceptable and exhausting experience.

However, they have never rectified (to my knowledge) any of the issues raised at the board meetings that are held at their properties. Once they actually rectify their property issues, then I will have a higher regard for their services.

The next day no exterminator shows up and her answer is "I haven't been back to the office to call". Nobody else works there that can make a phone call??? Been in the same apartment for 35 years. When these people took over from the original owner everything went downhill. If you're thinking of renting from these people you'll be sorry.

Under no circumstance should you trust these people with your living situation. In their Broadway Crescent Building, a resident has been allowed to suffer for years with a mental health crisis. Rather than being proactive in removing the individual from the property and getting them the help they need and deserve, they are instead allowed to slam on their door with a hammer all night, destroy their appliances and throw them in the hallway, and threaten other tenants and people on the street. Management has remained committed to not communicating with residents who are rightly scared to be in their own homes. In fact, they often ignore calls from tenants asking for information about the situation, or, if they actually pick up their phones, treat them as if they are a waste of time.
