I've had nothing but a good experience here. Drop off is uncomplicated. The area is near UMKC so sometimes parking can be a little more difficult. I've dropped off clothes at least 4-5x now and each time my order has been ready the next day after 5:00. The dry cleaning has been done well and we've dropped off suits, shirts, dresses and been satisfied with their work. The price is also nice running between 6-10 bucks for a garment. For convenience, quality, price, and speed they do a great job. read more

Convenient location with parking. Friendly staff! Great customer service! Good prices!

Still no return call from Rachel in customer service after they lost my Misha Nunu white size 8 $200 shirt. They tried to swap in a dingy old size 12. Store says Rachel will handle it. Rachel says they never told her...which means even now she knows but still doesn't call me back. This has been going on since November read more

Years of good service from Pride in PV. This morning? Total gaslighting from a large guy who stormed to the back of the store and end to the parking lot, "Same thing everey damn day," he shouted. read more

I have discontinued my service Pride Cleaners due to lost items, uncleaned items, poorly cleaned items, and Very Poor Customer Service! I have spent 36 years in the Military and recently retired, I am appalled at the service I received and at the price I was being charged. I would not recommend this dry cleaners to anyone I know. Recommendation, find anther dry cleaners that will provide the level of quality that is expected in cleaning your clothing. read more

If I were in a relationship with a dry cleaners, it would be marked "It's complicated." I absolutely loathe ironing, so in some ways they're a godsend. In other ways, I've had multiple cleaners ruin my clothes, lose my clothes, and do an all around crappy job. The crew at this specific Pride Cleaners is pretty friendly, and I appreciate their location. That's where the 3 stars come in. That, and the fact that they actually handled a situation that we had come up. I dropped a boatload of clothes off and they lost one of my shirts. Luckily for me I actually had a photo of it and they were able to scour their large center for it, but to no avail. I had to persist with the crew here from late January through all of March, constantly calling to check back on it. My persistence didn't find my shirt, but they did provide a store credit. It's sort of a push, but better than some dry cleaners that just say you're own your own (cough Tide Dry Cleaners in Corinth cough). I simply take a picture of my drop offs now right before I go in and let them know that I've documented it so they know. It's slightly over the top but I think it's worth it if you have some nice, irreplaceable sweaters or a suit. read more

Just witnessed a customer in front of me in line being yelled at by the associate because he was putting his mask on while walking in. She immediately freaked out on him because it wasn't completely on yet while he was walking in. I've never experienced such unprofessional behavior at an establishment before. The customer seemed upset and left. The associate could have politely asked him to put it on before he walked in but she basically did the opposite of anything polite. I won't be returning here. read more

I like this place! Good prices, friendly staff, 24hr turn around. I sent in a coat last winter I was trying to extend the life out of- I thought it was almost done for! When I got it back it looked like-new! read more

We've been customers for over 7 years. They now have a young new manager and he is totally unprepared for his job. Recently they lost 2 pairs of pants. He has repeatedly given me excuses on why he hasn't returned my 9 phone calls (over a period of 3 weeks). He constantly blames his staff - a new leaders worst behavior! Ironically they keep sending me notices that the closure a need to be picked up! When I show him that notice - he blames it on "corporate!" He doesn't own up to any part of the issue - including not calling me back. read more

My experience with this location has been unprofessional, unbearable and exhausting. I took my shawl in because they asked to look at it to see what they could do. A nice young man greeted me and when I explained my situation he told me to hold on so he could get someone else. A woman by the name of Kate came out and asked me what she could help me with. I explained to her that I was bringing in my item to show them what had happened. Kate was nasty from the start. She searched the computer while I looked for the barcode they put inside each item of clothing. I couldn't find it. She told me they didn't have a scarf in the system and with or without a barcode I couldn't prove they ruined this item. I told her it was a shawl and when I'd called they were able to find it in the system by color/pattern. She took it from me and found the barcode, found it in the system. She then told me they could put a dart in it or if I had extra fabric they could sew it in. (No, but if you go look around back there maybe you'll find it) I explained this changes the entire look of the kimono style shawl and doesn't address the ripped fringe. "Well what do yoy want us to do?" I asked if a credit would be possible. She said yes, took the item and said, "ok, so you won't be getting this back since we're buying it from you." What? How is this a credit? "You don't get to keep it if we're giving you a credit." I asked her how that even makes sense because that's not a credit and she needed to work on her customer service skills to which she replied, "ok what's up?" You should be letting me know what my options are. She again said if we give you a credit then you don't keep your item. I said I'd like the number for the owner or corporate because this isn't making any sense and we're not getting anywhere. I also said that I'd still not heard about my lost blouse after several contacts over the last few months. Clearly it was time to get some help outside of this awful place. I contacted corporate and a woman named Rachel got back with me. I asked if they had audio with their video camers because they should review just how terrible this employee was. They don't. She apologized for what happened, explained that the only time they keep an item is if they are MAILING a check for reimbursement for an item of clothing...not when they're just giving a credit. She told me she'd immediately apply a credit to my account and look at finding my blouse. This blouse has been missing since JULY. Cool! 2 weeks later, today, I go to drop off dry cleaning and ask about the credit on my account. No credit. I leave. Call Rachel who asks me to refresh her memory. I explained I'd still not heard about my blouse and there wasn't a credit applied as she told me there would be and just how bad this whole thing has been and how unimpressed I've been through this entire experience. She told me she was filing a claim, sending me a check and applying a credit to my account immediately. Never. Ever. Will we be using Pride Cleaners again. Ever....Ever. Go to Hangers up the road. Go anywhere but here. It's not worth lost and damaged clothing and the frustration of horrible customer service. read more

Clean clothes on time with same day service available if needed. What more can you ask? Been going for years.

I really don't understand the negative reviews here. I have lived in multiple locations across the country, and so far, this is the best dry cleaner I have ever used. It's uncomplicated, you drop off your stuff and it's ready the next day at 5:00. They have a thing where you get a bag to put your dry cleaning in, if you use it, not only is the drop off easy (you literally just walk in and drop off your bag because it has your name on it), but you also get a 20% discount for using this service (and a sturdy bag for your dry cleaning). I guess some might argue that this dry cleaner is on the pricey side, but I would rather have my clothes cleaned well, plus the 20% discount every time is a huge plus. read more

Smooth, efficient and consistent. I just relocated here and I was shocked that they overturned your dry cleaning to you in like 1.5 days. That would not happen in Denver or DC. So they got me right there. I only sent dry cleaning to the cleaners so my bill is reasonable. I will be back! My customer service was great when I went, thanks! read more

24-hour turn around, friendly, and open on Sunday - what more do you require of a dry cleaners?

In a word: Inept. I don't think I've ever wanted any business to fail....until now. Poorly trained employees, no attention to basic detail and on and on..... read more

These guys pay great attention to detail. They are courteous and pleasant to deal with. They even help me carry the clothes to my car.

I do the membership here (its a great deal if you have a regular dry cleaning need) and it has always been a smooth and fast process. I recently dropped off my wedding dress here (all-lace ballgown) and they had it cleaned within two days--they did such a fantastic job! Just wanted to give some credit where it is due. read more

Nasty. I went to pick up my husband's shirts. The shirts were to be folded. The clerk said they weren't there. My husband was leaving on a business trip and, on prior occasions, the shirts had come back on hangers. I asked the clerk if she would check and see if the shirts were there on hangers. She refused stating she was busy and the slip stated: folded. I asked again explaining that there were prior occasions on which the shirts were to be folded but came back on hangers. She refused again. Finally, another clerk said she would check. The shirts were there and on hangers. read more

I agree completely with Katie W. Not only they did refuse to pay for a shirt they damaged and couldn't repair, they wouldn't even return my phone calls. They wouldn't even reply to a letter I wrote the main office. The service is horrible. Go somewhere else. read more

Really did a terrible job on my dress shirts. Wrinkles all over the entire shirt, front, back, sleeves, everywhere. I could have thrown it in the dryer if I wanted it to look like that. Absolutely will not be returning. read more

I don't know why I even bother using them. Have the $18 a year value club and still get dinged with an $87 bill. Apparently the coupons they have, that specifically have a value club price on them, won't combine. Even worse than their prices are the quality of their pressing. The shirts are wrinkled, cuffs look terrible and the few shirts I got charged double for (yes designer shirts, which they decide what is and what isn't) look terrible too. Pathetic at best. read more

DO NOT USE THIS CLEANER! I am at my wit's end with this place. Don't know why I kept going back. In the last 6 months they have lost more than 10 of my pieces. Because they send the clothes off-site to be cleaned, I have never once recovered anything they have lost. Even when I bring in only a couple of things at time, they manage to lose something. I have been a customer of Pride Cleaners for decades. I have been patient and moved on with my day when clothes have been ruined or lost. Recently I took in a very nice business dress and they heat sealed a tag on the dress. The dress was reversible and they told me it was my fault I did not let them know this information. Why would you heat seal any clothing? I don't care if it is on the inside of the dress I don't want their heat seals on my clothes because they are impossible to get off and ruin the material. I have expensive shoes and a scarf that go with this dress and they only want to give me a refund and NOT return the item that I can still wear on one side. Well this dress is not replaceable and now I have expensive shoes and scarf to go with it that are not common colors so I'm not only out $160 for the dress but another $200 for accessories. Also, I took in my comforter for the sale they advertised and my comforter came back discolored; did they care? NO, their response was well that is not our responsibility because you signed the waiver. Then they cleaned another beautiful shirt with chain shoulder, broke the chain and their seamstress could not fix it; mine could. However, they don't compensate you for other services since theirs was not professional enough or knowledgeable enough to get it fixed. However, again you signed a waiver. So, what exactly are they responsible for getting correct? It seems like you must sign a waiver for everything you take to them because they ruin so many items and don't care. This is only three things in a very short period. So, stay clear of Pride Cleaners. I go to the one in Lee's Summit off Woods Chapel Road but will never again. read more

I took a cashmere and leather trim Cole Haan ladies winter coat in for a first cleaning and to tighten a shoulder button. When I picked up the coat and got to my car I noticed the button had been removed and replaced with a button that did not match the coat (even though there were matching replacement buttons on the inside of the coat but it wasn't missing in the first place and if they missed placed it there were matching buttons. Also the coat was not even cleaned. I took the coat back in and they said that it would be ready that same afternoon. I picked it up and it looked like it came out of a Salvation Army Bin, wrinkles pressed-in and it looked like it was brushed with a wire brush and the color was faded. I called and got the owner Brian, he told me to bring it back which I did and he said he would see what he could do to fix it and would call me when it was ready. Never got a call but did find an email a week later. Picked-up the coat this time it was cleaned but it still has wrinkles pressed into the back and arms and it looks old and worn out (faded color) and a snag in the tail. This is a $550 mid length coat less than a year old and it worthless. This is the WORST CLEANING I have ever had done. I have always used Lansing Cleaners in Munster and by chance I was driving by Pride and thought what the heck I would try them and boy was that a HUGE MISTAKE!! Brian (Owner) said if he couldn't fix it he would replace it no problem, never heard from him. STAY CLEAR OF PRIDE CLEANERS!!!!!! I have never taken the time to write a review of any store but this has to be known. read more
