Not a well-kept field compared to other fields. Dusty and no trees - shade is only under the pavilion. Good for it's intended purpose.

I have driven by this park countless times and thinking I want to bring my little one to play here…read more From far away it looks great. So I finally decided to stop by for some outdoor playtime with my little. I am sure that at some point this was an amazing park for your toddler/kids and it still is if you play tennis or other things. The two stars are because of the playground. It is really heartbreaking to see the condition of this playground. What is even sadder is my toddler saying "sowwy mommy, bwoken" and you are trying to explain that yes it is broken but it is not their fault. The playground is full of grafitti, profanity written on benches, play structure, etc. There is vandalism, broken cracked slide, trash, and exposed metal that has rusted (hope you have your tetanus shots!) throughout. It felt so uncomfortabke having my son play here for fear that he might get hurt since the equipment has not been cared for. Another thing is if you are wanting to sit down, the benches do not offer a good view of the whole play area so you have to really circle around if your little one still cant climb well/etc. It is also reslly hot here and there is no shade except from the little towers of the play structure. Every other part of this park has better maintennance, I just wish this playground had a little tlc and it would be more enjoyable.

I love how open the grassy field is! Lots of green patches, and lots of parking - both in the lot…read moreand street parking! We came here to try Aloha Mamacita, which is parked outside of the park on the street, and had a little picnic.

Dropped off My Mom here this morning for her Senior club meeting. They sure had alot to talk about…read morebecause the meeting ran over the time it supposed to end. Anyways I left and returned to pick her up and waited until she was done. One of the aunties came out of the meeting and told me to tell my mom hurry up so we can go lunch. They are constantly running, climbing, wrestling, laughing, and keeping active. Some people ask me why am I not obese with all the sweets that inhale. Well here is your answer. I have 3 boys who I have to keep up with. So I have to enlist them in sports, take them to parks, and take them on other outdoor activities to ensure they exhaust their energy. The Playground: It has 2 slides, monkey bars, a bridge, and several areas to climb. I wish there were parks in Hawaii where there was covered shade. This park does not have shade over the playground structure. Besides a playground Asing Park offers: -Baseball Field -Soccer Field -Basketball court -Tennis court -Volleyball court Next to the playground, there is a building where you can use as a conference room, meeting room, there is a kitchen and they also have community classes such as Judo, hula, and preschool (parent involved) classes. Bathrooms: There are bathrooms in the building next to the playground. However, it is not always open. There is another bathroom located on the far end of the playground that is not as clean. Parking: There are street parking and a lot right next to the playground. Overall, if you're in the area it's a decent park to check out and take your family.

Growing up in Ewa Beach, community park wasn't a go to place. Seems like that hasn't changed over…read morethe years. Dropped by with a friend to show her around seeing as she lives up the road in Ewa Gentry and there was a total of four people on the sand, two people playing hoops and a few loitering around the covered patio area. The whole park is clean - the grassy field or picnic/play area, the beach as well as the rest of the grounds. Nice if you want some sun or ocean time less the crowds, the hassle of finding parking or the commute to those other more popular beaches.

The old playground that was screaming lawsuits towards the state was completely torn out and was replaced with a rope climbing thing. My daughter (Abira) calls it her spider home lol. The ground is really nice, no crazy holes. The grassy area is still just as good as it was the first time around :) I don't know what caused the change, but it's like all of the people that go to the park now actually take responsibility for their children. I really like that change. The tennis court is still not really being used when I go there. It's still in good shape :) I REALLY WISH THE SKATE PARK PART WAS FIXED UP. I don't know why they won't fix it. They fixed almost everything else. I definitely would recommend bringing kids here to play on that spider home thing if you feel your child is able to climb around safely.
