I have been to many quilt stores and this store is by far one of my favorites. Quilters who are trying to limit fabric purchases or who are on a fabric diet should not come here if they have waivering willpower. I never leave without acquiring more treasure! I always find something that I need in this store. I have never been able to take a class here but have been in the store when classes have been in process. Looks like everyone is having a great time and creating projects they can be proud of.

I just called to reorder an order and provided the date and order number. Was told they couldn't look up orders. My gosh! Get a current computer software system. The gal who answered had the voice and knowledge of a 12 year old, so I asked for the manger and she said she was the manger. This store is outdated, has rude employees and most employees are unknowing about anything in the store. Never thought I'd say this, but: "Go to Walmart where at least they know their products".

The staff is always friendly and willing to help, and offer suggestions to make your project more beautiful. I haven't had machine service, but Buddy and Dave get rave reviews from my friends. Their classroom is large and inviting, and can host 12-16 people. I highly recommend that you stop in when you're in the Helena/East Helena area!

The daughter of the store owner was behind the counter and was extremely friendly and helpful. My mother, an avid quilter, visiting from Florida, was impressed with the quilt fabrics and I was impressed with the overall appearance of the store. You would never guess to find a store like this right off Hwy 12, almost on the RxR tracks, but it is a wonderful shop. Great antiques, quilt fabrics, candles, Made in Montana items, and so much more. This store is truly one to stop by or make a trip out to see. Well worth the drive to the small community of Avon.

We must of talked for 30 minutes while she helped me find what I needed. During that conversation, she mentioned that they were going to start having retreats. I immediately signed my friend and I up, and we then went to our first sewing retreat at Robinsrest. It was so fun! The rooms were wonderful! Comfortable beds, super fun and friendly ladies, and it was overall a great experience! We are already signed up for the next one!

When I was in college, I was too poor to shop here. So, while on vacation this week I made it my…read moremission to shop at Rediscoveries and drop some cash. It's better than I remember it. I pulled out a 50's novelty border print poodle skirt that I have been drooling over on ebay for ages and immediately felt like the happiest vintage hunting lady ever when I saw it was only $50. The selection of sizes and decades is impressive. Most of the pieces are in pristine condition. And don't get me started on the fabric! Novelty cottons and rayons galore! I ended up with a yard of vintage unicorn fabric. UNICORNS!!!!!!!!! Prices are reasonable on fabric too. But don't expect to get a deal. I also got a great deal on a beautiful 50s dress that had a little damage. The owner even gave me some wonderful suggestions for ways I could alter it around the damage and make it even more fabulous. There are also lots of antiques, jewelry, purses and BARBIES! I love ogling at the dolls. There are some deals at Rediscoveries. Definitely worth checking out. Brian is well versed and really knows his vintage.

We had a old Viking gas stove from 1997 in the house we bought and we replaced it with a new…read moreinduction stove and hood, and our normal skilled worker handyman wasn't available so we had to look around. Where we bought the stove from, Monteriors, recommended John Benjamin appliance repair and install. We called John and he came right out without delay, which in itself was a pleasant surprise. John was great! And he was able to do all the little side jobs that ended up being necessary to get the new electric range and hood installed where the gas range had been. He didn't just throw it in and move on though, he took his time and had an amazing attention to detail that ensured that all the sketchy parts of the install ended up just right, and the end result could not have looked more PERFECT! We are so happy with the quality of the job after he was done. Not just that but John was as chatty as me and we talked about all sorts of stuff, and I really appreciate who John is as a person and his character and we felt comfortable with him in our home. We are very happy with John, and would highly recommend him for any home install jobs for your large appliance needs!
