Poor experience with communication. Called their number to see when my car would be picked up from the Tow yard, and was hung up on and messaged, "Sorry I'm on the other line, I'll call u back." We got nervous and pulled into the nearest mechanic shop Rev it up at 92 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871 and we're helped by the kind mechanic but we are from NY and couldn't leave our car here so we called our insurance and they send us Price Rite Towing & Transport we were helped by truck 81. The gentleman was blond with a cool semi Mohawk style hair and an awesome monster energy drink logo tattoo on his right hand. He was super sweet kind and fun to chat with he worked fast and was extremely efficiently!!! He checked up on us to make sure we were ok safe and offered if we needed a rest stop to let him know since we were stranded for over hour. I wish I knew his name only my fiance got to speak to him in the 1st half of the conversation I was busy tending to my daughter. I just wanna say thank you to him and this company they are all around 100 star rating he brought us to prestige auto shop in Harlem in NYC and drove our car into the shop to help us out. I just wanna say thank you and let your company know you have amazing employees and services this man deserves a raise. I have never used this towing company but this morning on my way to work on the parkway. This company is tow truck number 85 started swerving behind me and started speeding up where I couldn't even go much further. There was a couple times that he almost hit my car from behind the way that he was driving. It was very reckless. I did capture the phone numberand the name and the name of the company and I did call and left a voicemail for a towing company. I would've thought that a towing company for all that they see on the road, especially with car accidents and disabled car. You would think that they will have a mindset of safety, but this drivers did not. DO BETTER ! we all need to get home to our family in one piece. they should not have people on the road driving very recklessly. I would not even use them to tow my car go somewhere else. read more

Unfortunately I felt bad the distance was so far for something I should have better prepared for, but when Wilson, the driver and I spoke I'm not sure this guy was for real. Went to NYC for what was supposed to be a quick daytrip. Parked my car in the ParkFast Lot by Newark Penn Station when I returned to my car I had a flat tire (and a dead battery because the person who parked my car didn't turn off my lights). and it was 11:30pm. not only that but my phone was almost dead and I live 2 hours away. I filed a claim with insurance and price rite was sent out. although the wait was a bit long and their tracker didn't seem to work, it was worth the wait. as soon as the driver arrived he was immediately able to jump my battery (which wouldn't jump with another car) and filled my tire with air. he also gave me info for a 24 hr tire repair place so I could get back on the road safely. literally a life saver as I had planned on sleeping in my car until Firestone opened. After 3 minutes I received a tracking link which said the ETA was 1 hour, 3 minutes later a phone call asking me to confirm cancellation for my tow I explained it should not be canceled as my car was broken down and I needed it towed. The man claimed it was fine and the truck would be arriving at its original estimated time. 1 1/2 hours later I called to follow up because the tracker said arriving and I didn't see anyone and the nasty woman on the phone told me the tracker doesn't work I called her driver to tell him that I didn't need his service an hour ago and hung up on me. I tried calling back several times for a manager they kept sending my call to voicemail and then sent me a text saying I canceled the service with their driver 3 minutes from me. Catherine 12:09PM (4 hours ago) to bill I highly recommend Price Rite Towing. My husband's car was hit by flying debris from a truck and was completely disabled on the NJ Turnpike. There were various problems with retrieving the car from Al's Towing Company who removed the car from the Turnpike but Stella from Price Rite Towing could not have been more helpful. She coordinated with my insurance company, and also with Al's Towing who were more or less holding my husband and his car hostage because he didn't have $190 in cash - no credit cards. Stella really saved the day and was so nice to work with. She made the hours-long ordeal much better because of her helpfulness. I am truly saddened at what has been occurring with this towing company since I ran out of gas on the parkway 5 days ago. My car was removed from the parkway and towed to price r i t e towing in toms River. I could not get the car removed that night due to the fact that it was late and their Gates were closed. I was however charged for storage fees for the hour and a half it was at their lot that Friday, that I could not take off the property mind you. I had to walk 20 miles to get home with a serious physical health issue. Saturday I was not able to get a ride to get the release from the state police and I did not get a quote over the phone on how much it was going to cost me from the towing company. They said I needed the release first. Sunday I'm hospitalized. Mind you I am a good person who had suffered some health issues and a breach of identity as a result of my vulnerability. I have been living in my car for the past 6 months. Fast forward to now yesterday. I finally get a quote from the receptionist at the towing yard that it's going to now cost me $505 to get my vehicle back that has all of my belongings in it including my phone. Mind you I probably would not have ran out of gas if I had money like that, or be living in my vehicle. I am a single woman. I then finally find somebody able to drive me to get the release at 3:00 p.m. from the state police barracks in toms River. State Police ran into an issue and it took a while for them to get an officer there to give me the release for my vehicle. It is now 4:30 p.m. yesterday Tuesday the 4th of March. I have just gotten the release for my vehicle and I call the tow yard and say I am on my way, it is being listed at this company is open 24 hours. The woman on the phone tells me the gates are closed they're locked and there's no way for me to get in or get any of my belongings including some food, my jacket or a phone. So now it's Ash Wednesday, March 5th 2025. 9:00 in the morning I'm sure my car tow fee is now up to about $600 of which now I have zero and zero help. I was forced to sleep in a shelter and as much as I would like to think there is good people in the world, everybody is busy getting there ashes for this holy day, and although my family has dedicated their lives to the church and I have paid my tithings, I can't seem to find any help to get my vehicle, also my shelter from the wind. So I guess the gates are only open to bring cars in 24 hours. I guess that money and capital means more than human lives. And I guess without $600 now my vehicle and my belongings are going to sit there until this towing company claims ownership. How can I be charged a hookup and towing fee to the yard and a full day of storage fees for the first day it was brought there when I could not even access it. How come I was not told the multiple times that I called that I cannot access my car or my stuff after 4:00 p.m. either. Anyway I'm starting to lose my hope. I cannot speak to their towing ability but can say that this company has no moral compass.  I was driving on the highway behind one of their tow trucks when gravel started flying at my windshield.  I realized they were coming from the bed of the tow truck when actual rocks started flying off their truck.  My windshield was severely cracked in multiple places.  I called the owner 2 times and was told this was impossible and still waiting for them to call back.  All I wanted was for them to take responsibility and pay my $50 deductible for replacing the windshield.  I have filed a police report as this is damage to my vehicle cause by theirs. read more

I had a schedule app for 11/18/21 at 7am to get my car tow to the tire shop, because I caught a flat. When driver arrive, he came with a tow truck that was not big enough to tow my car. The driver then shifted blame on me saying that "I never told my car insurance that I needed my car tow and that he have been towing cars for a while"! I told him I know what I said, and it was that I have a flat tire, and need to be tow to my tire shop! Moving forward: He ended up putting my spare tire on. He was having trouble getting my flat tire off, and instead of using a rubber hammer (which don't cause damage and dents) to get the wheel off, he used a regular hammer, and then he started kicking my tire at that! He was on the phone the whole time, which isn't the problem, but the fact that he kept saying the "Nig^^a word while talking was a problem, because I am a woman of color. Finally when my spare tire was put on, he left my flat tire at the side of my car and told me "I can just put the flat tire in my car and I'm good to go". I told him I can't because it's heavy! He got annoyed and told me to give him a second because he was putting his tools back in his truck. When he came back to my car to put my flat tire in my trunk he said "this is heavy" as he was picking up the tire. That blew my mind when he said that because he was about to leave it for me to do myself had I not said something. Mind you, I didn't mind helping him, if he needed help. This company charged me twice for one service. I disputed the additional charge through my bank. The company claimed that the second charge was legitimate and the bank reversed the charge. This is ridiculous. I only had one car towed. After the tow truck operator swiped my card the first time, he was called by his boss while en route to my destination. His boss told him to swiped my card again because the initial payment didn't go through. Both charges posted. I only disputed one charge and it did not work in my favor as it should have. To have to pay for two services when I only received one is unacceptable. I want my money back. read more

Can't rave enough about the exceptional service delivered on time, professionally and with calming, reassurance. Owner, Paul Kas, dispatched Jimmy through the Geico request for roadside assistance. Jimmy was clearly an expert. He adeptly and quickly navigated the car from the precarious traffic light stop at a county road intersection, then hooked it up onto the flatbed with such ease - he made what is clearly a carefully calculated job (so nothing gets loose or broken) look effortless. His customer care comes first manner was extremely courteous. I'm generally an unflappable person yet Jimmy seemed to sense my concern about what caused smoke to emit from the engine. He accurately assessed the engine issue then reassured me it was nothing major, relaying he'd get the car right over to my mechanic and it would be an easy fix. Based on my mechanic's diagnosis, Jimmy was spot on with determining the cause as well as showing me what it was so I could be prepared for the mechanic visit. Waiting with a 97lb Great Dane lab dog in the freezing cold was minimal thanks to Jimmy calling me to confirm the pick up address. He also reconfirmed the delivery address so there would be no delays. I understand from the owner, Paul, that he has trucks "all over NJ". today i had to have my car towed out my building complex , i checked with the driver before he came that he would be taking me and the car to my drop off location like geico requested he said yes. when he arrived he had someone who dosen't work for the company in his company car , he began to argue with me about moving my car which was not moveable reason for towing. his girlfriend began to add herself in between the argument which i told him i would be contacting his company which he told her to pop on me , which she did not. she continued to yell at me and my security of my building she threaded to break my car windows and damage my car. do not allow them to touch your car if they have anyone in the car , do not allow them to bully into giving your keys to them. the driver did not let the body shop know anything he dropped the car and keys and left and did not inform anyone. worst services i have ever had. he needs to suspended read more
