Price Chopper and Tops' merger forced the latter to sell ten in the state to C&S which revived GU. It was only the second one this year I've gone to after Cortland. It's new to the young people, but older folks will remember. Not quite the Grand Union my late grandma went to in Albany County, but like the old days, having it out of reach only makes me want to go back. Now if they could just replace closed Tops's in Syracuse on the south side and Westvale as well as Ithaca on S Meadow Dr and Great American in Star Lake.

Yesterday I see cops there harassing immigrants for identification, which they more than likely work the farm nearby, I worked there on the past so I would know. They let their own truck driver park in the lot for the night and I did too after driving all day..I'm woke up with a flashlight directly in my face and told I need to leave the parking lot and no overnight parking.
