Check in was easy. Reminder system is great. I saw Dr. Thomas. She was amazing as was her hygienist and front desk staff. They printed out a full quote for everything that I need done that was easy to read and understand as well as gave me a referral to a trusted oral surgeon. I am excited to go back because I know that I'm in good hands!

Then the dental hygienist came in and informed me that based on his review of my X-rays I needed a deep clean to remove some buildup under my gums (which he specifically said is not a new problem) but he'd be willing to do a medium deep clean. The insurance specialist informed me it would cost over $300, out of pocket. To be clear, I go to the dentist every 6 months and have my entire life. I brush twice a day and floss daily. The dentist today had no concerns about my teeth after reviewing my X-rays. No dentist (or dental hygienist) has ever recommended a deep clean before. And I was told this is "not a new problem." I declined the medium deep cleaning, the hygienist refused to do a regular cleaning and I left. The whole experience felt very scammy. And I still need to get my teeth cleaned.

He was available after my procedure at any time to reassure me during my recovery (because I'm always one to get in my head) which I can't thank him enough for. The surgery team there as well was very kind to me (I've had bad experiences at other places going under anesthesia before). They didn't rush me to leave the facility right after my procedure and took their time in taking care of me. I highly recommend Dr Chattha for any procedure and to be honest I would highly recommend probably any surgeon or any staff member there. I have repeatedly been told that the Billing team is unavailable to speak directly with customers, which has made resolving what should be a straightforward billing issue unnecessarily difficult. Allowing inaccurate claims to remain unresolved while they prevent a patient from receiving care elsewhere is unacceptable. I am still trying to get this corrected and am extremely disappointed by the lack of urgency and accountability.

I agreed with the recommendations as one tooth was infected and I know it needed to be treated. The teeth were removed in December 2023. I had some complications that required another procedure. The specialist who conducted the teeth extraction ad the follow up did not have the best bedside manner. She was somewhat aggressive; she was not calming or comforting. She could improve on her consideration of what the patient is going through. I will continue to go to Connect for my cleanings, but hope to never have to deal with dentist who does the extractions. I also didn't agree with their practice. Most practices will have a day where they just do surgeries. This practice does both surgeries and consultations the same day which is why everything is booked up. The literally oral surgeon is doing your consultation in between surgeries.
