What I liked best about Pat was his "can do" attitude. Our lift had some challenges, and Pat is all about getting the job done. We had to make some adjustments in setting the trusses and moving some scaffolding and Pat couldn't have been more accommodating. Whatever it took to get the job done is how Best Crane Service works, and that's a company that I want to do business with. Pat even took the time out to show my two sons, who work with me, how to rig and even answered all their questions. If you need some lifting done, don't hesitate to call Best Crane.

I had to coordinate with a service to get rid of the spa, after doing that (separate review for Blake Hauling to follow), contacted Nick with desired date. Troy, crane operator, showed up about 15 minits early, set up his rig, provided straps for my son and I to wrap around the spa (Nick told us this would be the case). The straps were a little short, Troy came up and fixed that problem. Briefed up on how we'd do the lift. Picked it up and set it on Blake Hauling's truck that was waiting to haul it away. Wow be careful with this New Contractor!…read more We secured an estimate and made plans to get the job done 9 days in advance. The day before the job he shows up and comes over to chat and decline's doing the job. He tells me face to face "I'm just going to pass". I'm like what the heck. Our company went through Angie's list to get bids and this guy is unreliable unless it's convenient for him. Maybe too hot out for him to work. The generator delivery was scheduled for a delivery day by the manufacturer; however, they wouldn't give me a specific window or time of delivery on that day. I reached out to Bob's and spoke to Ron about what I had going on and he recommended I have the generator delivered to their yard for a controlled delivery to the jobsite along with the crane and counterweights. Ron visited the jobsite to get a good look at the layout and was able to put a solid plan together for a very good price. This past Monday the generator was delivered to Bob's yard in Lakeside and we schedule the crane pick for 7am a couple of days later. On the day of, the generator showed up on a flatbed semi and about 3 minutes later the crane showed up. The operator and rigger walked the site and within about 2 hours they were able to offload and set our generator within the new CMU enclosure and pack up. These guys from the time of getting a quote to the time they were rolling off the jobsite were professional and did a fantastic job. We will likely be going straight to Bob's for our next generator pick later this year as I don't see a need to shop elsewhere at this point.
