I already spoke to Joel, the owner of this business, of his blunder but his excuse was that his system was not able to transmit our information to the cloud/ internet... if this is true then avoid this company for its faulty computer systems and temperamental internet connection. Based on my past experience with this company, I do not believe our professional collaboration or any type of personal communication would be mutually beneficial. As previously stated, their insidious business practices make it hard to even communicate with them.

Call someone else I…read morehad no choice but to use First American title. After the seller signed the documentation inwas contacted by Emily, who pressed to know when I would be transfering funds. There had been some issues withthe settlement as to when it was going to happen. I had very little notice because the dat changed several times. When called to ask for assistance with the financial transfer, they were not helpful with instructions. I followed the instructions and contacted the bank. The bank was missing the information or instructions needed for the transfer. So I was given incomplete information from First American. After I did everything with my financial institution and it was in their hands. They followed up with First American to confirm information for the transfer of funds. It was in the works. A few hours later I received another call from Emily asking why the transfer hasn't arrived yet and pressed me to call my bank again. When I did, they said everything was going fine and it would be happening very soon. I don't know why she didn't contact the financial institution since they contacted First American to confirm the transfer. There is no customer care or support here. More like a loan shark. The purchase was contingent upon financing. 3 days before closing, the bank notified me that I needed more than 30% down for closing which was about an extra $35,000 in monies. The deal www canceled because I was not able to get a mortgage for 20% down as outlined. However, Coldwell Banker will not help me receive my downpayment back. Even though my contract was with Coldwell Banker and my check written to them. I will never deal with them again!! Buyers beware!

For a few months, Christine helped us look for a home in Brighton but we had bad luck with what we were looking for. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we suddenly needed to buy in Ann Arbor. Christine was super flexible and got us rolling into our dream home. She was always responsive throughout the process and was pragmatic when we needed it.
