Second problem, we had our closing on Thursday, today is Monday and they still haven't sent our proceeds from the sale. They had us complete their form and their first excuse was that they have never sent money to a credit union before (what?) and their next excuse was they didn't have a completed form (what? - we did it in your office). Shari never returned our call or responded to emails. The only reason I gave them a 2 instead of a 1 is because Sara in Ann Arbor was amazing and always very helpful.

Theresa and Kevin really went the extra mile throughout the process. This knowledgeable, enthusiastic pair helped us on many different levels. They have so many strengths that it's tough to list them all, but we'll give it a try. - They have a deep understanding of the market. This was important for us, because apparently there were really no comparable houses nearby to help establish a price. However, Theresa and Kevin were able to call on their experience to establish a price that was very fair to us as sellers, sat well with the appraiser, and also got the house sold within a week. That says the Edwards Team monitors the pulse of the market very accurately. - They were honest, pointing out areas where our 19-year-old house needed repairs and updates before selling. They were also upfront with us about timing (our repairs took longer than expected, so that we missed the peak selling window). - They were supportive, explaining the process thoroughly, and answering our nervous texts or calls promptly. They usually got back to us on the same day, in fact. They also shared their extensive lists of reliable contractors, all of whom did excellent work at reasonable prices. - They did the staging as part of their service, saving us a significant amount of money. Their well-chosen, up-to-date staging furniture really highlighted the strong points of the house, allowing it to shine in photos and look the best it has in years. - They were true partners in the process. We live three hours from the house we were selling, so at times it was difficult to get to the house when needed. But Theresa and Kevin had our backs. When a contractor needed access and we were out of town, Kevin was there to let him in and supervise his work. When a door looked ugly, Theresa rolled up her sleeves and painted it. They installed lights, updated cabinet handles, and generally helped us to polish the house. To sum it all up, we are extremely satisfied customers. Tim doesn't communicate with his sellers, lies to buyers, and makes decisions based on what is best for Tim, not for his clients. I have had personal experience with this, and although I was warned about him, I didn't take those warnings seriously and found out first hand the level of human being he is. His arrogance and superiority complexes will leave you feeling like you need to shower after even 5 minutes around him just to cleanse the fifth off of you. There are many agents out there, with Tim being the bottom of the pile. Highly suggest looking elsewhere if you are in the market, and staying clear of any property he represents.

After going back and forth, they said they could meet at 11 am on Saturday. Now, Saturday came, my husband was in the online meeting room, but nobody showed up. He waited for 30 minutes there and ended the online meeting. Now, after he left home, Evelyn called him and said she had forgotten the meeting, with no legitimate reason. And after wasting part of his weekend, she told him that they only offer the full management service and do not help just with finding a tenant. The purview of their service is fine; that is their choice, but this could certainly be communicated via email instead of going through this unprofessional and disrespectful experience. I was surprised to find many great reviews about this company, which was good for them, but I guess our need wasn't lucrative enough for them to care if you can drop a meeting they scheduled without giving a legitimate reason.
