The space was clean, comfortable, and calming. The massages were perfectly tailored to our needs-my boyfriend was looking for something more relaxing and less intense, while I had some intense knots in my upper back that I wanted worked on. Carlos and Vasilisa communicated enough to meet our needs, but not so much that we were not able to relax. And they were both attentive to our needs and body responses, pushing our muscles without hurting us. Honestly, the best massage I've ever had! My only note is that we walked right by the front door, so communicate with Carlos when you are on your way so he can meet you outside.

I actually had one on the beach 2 days before this one. I had to practically escape the hotel zone in Tulum to get a Massage from Carlos. All was worth it. He takes his time and really focuses on your knots and problem areas. Mine happen to be along side and below my shoulder blades. Knots that the previous masseuse couldn't move...no match for Carlos. He worked muscles on every inch of me from my toes to my palms and fingers. My calves, my neck and everything in between. When 90 minutes was over I thought to myself "how soon can I return to do this again". I read the reviews and they were right. You will not be disappointed.

Now, to be fair, everyone in Tulum is selling healing, energía, alignment, and ancestral wisdom at luxury prices, so I expected to overpay a little. That's part of the wellness-industrial complex, mi gente. What I did not expect was to be overcharged by hundreds of dollars due to their mistake and then spend TWO YEARS trying to get my refund. At this point, I've released limiting beliefs, healed generational trauma, aligned my chakras, forgiven my ex-husband, and communicated with my spirit guides more easily than I've been able to get this money back. So here's my review: the healing is real, the vibes are immaculate, and the Temazcal is worth experiencing. Just keep one eye on your aura and the other on your credit card statement.
