Our massage awaits

One of my friends suggested we go here so we decided to go on our very first day in Tulum. We did a 90-minute couple's massage. The ambiance is perfection (on the jungle side, and you have your own little hut and they burn copal which smells AMAZING). The massage was good but definitely be specific about what you want (because they'll do it). My skin felt soooo silky smoothy after the clay!! A few things to note: -They require you to pay half in advance -Bring your own products for showering (especially shampoo or conditioner) I do wish they sold the copal and they were out of the natural mosquito repellant as well (we sampled some). Definitely a nice little unique spa experience while on vacay.

An outdoor shower, with an amazing mud massage. Then showered the mud off and finished with regular massage. Masseuse was great. Atmosphere is wonderful.

Really enjoyed this experience. I would recommend the clay massage. My husband and I got the two for one special!

My wife wanted to go to the spa at our hotel in Tulum and I decided to do a little research on local spas to see if there were better options.... I found Mayan Clay and decided to reach out about their services... they offered a 4 hr long treatment that wasn't much more $ than a 1.5 hour massage at our hotel.... This day Spa treatment at the Mayan Clay Jungle Bathhouse was without a doubt the highlight of our trip! For just over $300 per person we had the entire jungle retreat campus to ourselves! We were greeted at the front gate and from that moment on for the next 4 hrs we were pampered in an amazing environment... we were guided by our awesome hostesses, who were carrying a large chalice of cleansing incense at all times, from private changing chambers to one treatment after another! Cenote water pool, sea salt and rosemary scrub, coconut massage, Mayan clay pool, warm wash, papaya massage, sauna, cenote pool, hot jacuzzi with fresh pineapple and hot tea, then another 1 hour massage.... The women were amazing... we were completely nude (with comfy cotton towels) and alone with them the entire time! It was incredible... and so so so relaxing. You will never find a place better than this. Thank you Mayan Clay Spa!

Me after 2 hours of massage, sound and aromatherapy.

If your in Tulum this is a amazing spa to visit. They have a wonderful Mayan clay massage package that leaves you feeling energized yet relaxed. The staff are absolutely amazing and take hospitality to the next level. If you love long massages with different types of body treatments, this place os for you.

When I returned at 10 PM, the issue had been completely ignored, no technician, no update, and no communication. Additionally, my room was not serviced by housekeeping that entire day. At 12 AM, after hours of discomfort, I had to personally go to the front desk, where I was told at that late hour that I'd need to move rooms. This should have been addressed much earlier in the day. The front desk staff showed little empathy or accountability, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber. I travel frequently and have stayed in properties around the world this was among the worst customer service experiences I've encountered. Deserving a 1 star. I would strongly urge management to review this incident, as the current level of service does not reflect the pricing for this hotel or reputation of a five-star establishment. I would think twice before booking

Plus they add 15% service charge. There are a lot of people coming up to you and asking you to buy things but overall it feels safe.
