I walked in on a weekday (mid-afternoon) and there was no wait at all. Place was clean and tech had mask and put gloves on. My nails look great with only a few imperfections, but much better than previous place. My only negative thought is that the tech was on his phone a lot during my visit. I washed my hands and sat down while he was still texting (or something , but not talking) on his phone. He even stopped working on my nails a few times to respond to texts. This is very unprofessional in my opinion. If there was an issue with his kids or something I would understand if it was communicated from the beginning. Other than that it was good. Price was $40 for a fill with a $1 charge for using a card. You can not leave a tip on the card. read more

Sign says $40 for charcoal pedicure, I got gel polish so I expected a little more. Go to pay and he charges me $60!? The extra must be the charge to torture people! He ripped big chunks out from the sides of my big toes!! It was extremely painful then on top of that he squirts who knows what on them and the pain was excruciating!!! I dropped in here for a pedicure and manicure while Sexy Beast was getting the tires rotated or something at the Wal-Mart Service Center. The pedicure was decent. However, it was a little painful. I'm a tough broad so I can't imagine how someone more sensitive might have reacted. The manicure was pretty bad. (And, also painful.) I never ask for color, just a soak, cuticle trim, and a buff. One would think that this would be easily accommodated. It wasn't. My cuticles were still dry and jagged after the whole endeavor was over. The price was a little steep for the quality of the work. The technician was polite and apologized every time I winced but I don't think that I'll be back. read more

This was my first time coming to this nail salon. I came as a walk in after seeing a nail sign from the window of my 18 wheeler. When I first got to the salon I was a little hesitant as some of the reviews were less than favorable however since I was already there I went on in. My wait time was very minimal just enough time to pick out my color. I had a pedicure with gel polish (my first time with gel on my toes) and a fill in with my standard gel polish. My nail tech Anna did all of my services and I am tremendously pleased. The price point was what I would say is fair as I have natural long nails so I am always charged more for my fill in overlay so I was expecting that, the cost would have been cheaper if I went with regular polish on my toes but since it was so cold I opted for gel so I could put my socks and shoes in right away. My 9 and 12 year old went here to get a gel mani/pedi today. My 12 year old was paying with her own money. When they walked out, I asked my child how much she had just paid...... The answer $230. I walked back in this store to look at the prices. I was told that the prices posted were not really their prices thqt they had been raised. This store had over charged my child $100. A store that hustles a child is revolting to me. I will never go back here again. I suggest everyone who does go here checks their prices so this doesn't happen to you. read more

Beware. 3 days after my pedicure, pain in my right great toe woke me up. I had an infection in the nail bed with a red streak running up my toe. My doctor had to put me on antibiotics and soaking my foot several times a day and can only wear flip flops. I will not be getting any more pedicures at any salon and you couldn't pay me to go back in this store. Obviously good hygiene practice is not a policy or priority at Pretty Nails. Hopefully I have a staph infection that responds to the antibiotic and not any other blood borne infections. Be careful! Prices are high and even gave tech a tip. Upon entering, I had a very minimal wait time. As the tech was accepting payment from the prior customer, he welcomed me to the same station that he completed the prior customers service. However, he did not sanitize the station or perform hand hygiene. A previous customers nail clippings and buffing dust remained on the table. I requested a full set of acrylics with polish I had brought in. He insisted it was a bad idea and insisted upon dip nails. During my service, he failed to wear gloves and trim my cuticles. As the service was being completed, polish on my thumb nail became misplaced. He made an unsuccessful attempt to fix it. Overall, I wish I would have considered the minimal wait time a "red flag" or "warning" for the infection control nightmare this location poses! read more

Don't go here. Just don't. I came in for a gel mani. The person who removed my prior gel polish ruined my nails. She insisted on using a grinder/mechanical tool, and nothing else, to remove my prior gel polish. They had me soak my fingertips in straight acetone (rather than wrapping the nails). The nails should have been scraped, rather than being ground down. When I went to wash my hands, I could see that the damage had been done. Some of my nails are so thin in a few places that I think the nail barely exists. This was pure laziness, even after I questioned how it was being done. Based on the horrible polish removal, I left before I got an actual mani. It was a disaster. My mom got a standard mani. They didn't soak her nails or her hands. They were done in just a few minutes. The polish had pooled against her cuticle. It didn't look like a professional mani. read more

after many many many times of my wife coming here to get her nails done, there have been so so so many issues. from long wait times, distracted employees neglecting a client and the work being done. this last incident was the last straw. went in to get her nails painted, over acrylics, and they put on sooooo many layers of polish, it could not have possibly dried in over 3 hours. 90 minutes after getting her nails "done" they were still not "dry" and every single one of her nails except 2 werent marked from basic life maneuvering like taking off a bra, brushing up against a door knob. she had to strip all of the polish off and repaint them herself. DO NOT COME HERE. it is a half assed salon that has no competition here and they know it. go somewhere else. read more

I have been to Pretty Nails many times and not had a problem, until yesterday. The prices at this salon went up and it cost me $45 to get my toes done with Gel Polish. This may not sound too bad but I brought my own Gel Nail Polish color and the nail technician knew this. They also now charge $1 for running a card. This is not a huge deal to me but if you want to save the money then make sure to bring cash. I will not be going here again because of the prices. Other nail salons have charged me less when I brought my own polish. Spending $50 to get my toes done with my own polish is ridiculous. read more

The Pretty Nails by WalMart has a "manager" by the name of Chris. He is very flirty and somewhat "suggestive" in his language with the clients. He made me feel very uncomfortable and I won't go back. The Pretty nails by Jibbys has a "manager" who is the owner's son. He is rude and it is clear he does not want to be there. He sits in one of the back pedicure chairs and puts his ear buds in and plays on his phone. Never smiles. It is very "tense" in the salon when you go in if he is there. If you do get conversation out of him and ask if he is having a bad day, he always has a smartass answer. He told a client one time that he didn't know that it was his "job to entertain clients". WOW! To be honest, they should have left the salon the way it was managed before. I have been told by one of the nail techs that none of them like working with and for him because he is not nice.
