We definitely recommend Petmecky for big tree trimming…read more We got quotes from three places; Petmecky was knowledgeable and reasonably priced. It reflected very positively on them that they did not use fear as a sales tool. JR communicated well and was honest, straightforward, supportive, and realistic. We gave them a difficult job to trim large trees overhanging our house with limited access. They planned the many logistics thoroughly, carefully cut high limbs to make sure the tree recovered, lowered each piece carefully without any property damage, hauled away everything (so much labor), and cleaned up afterwards as well. Their team worked well together. Our trees are safer and still healthy and looking good. We'll be asking Petmecky to do future trimming as needed, and wish we had done it sooner.

This summer, I called them back for repairs, and it was one of the most frustrating experiences. Really poor communication and did not complete all the work as agreed. I wasted so much time waiting for them to do things, and the problem was not even fixed. So now I am out a lot of money for something someone else needs to fix. I wish I had never called them in the first place. Learn from my mistake and call someone else. You may think it's a great company because of how fast they send someone to give you a quote and make it sound like it's all going to be fixed promptly, but don't fall for it. Expect to be ghosted, and overcharged.
