Not a family friendly venue…read more Made a booking here this evening by ringing ahead one hour before arrival, booked a table for 7 + a highchair at 7pm. Arrived on time to find out there was a 40 minute queue just to order your food, and a further 40-50 minute wait to receive your meals.....with children, these kinds of waiting times are just ridiculous! (especially for chicken nuggets of all things!). Had we known about the fact that they were busy when we rang, we could have planned to eat elsewhere, but now, this family is one that won't be coming back here again next time we are in the area.

This place is in a prime location, opposite the river and the local caravan park across the road…read more Just round the corner are a range of shops and restaurants. The rooms are also extremely spacious and the mattresses are very comfortable. The bathrooms could probably use a window that can be opened and a fan too but the air con. for the room is extremely effective. If snacks are wanted then you won't be able pay for ones that are in your fridge or cupboard cause there aren't any there. When I stayed we walked down the road to a fish and chips restaurant that started with something like ... JJJ's .... it was extremely delicious and they have basically EVERYTHING in there that you could want. There is also a few games and lots of 80s memorabilia that looks fantastic.
