The very first time I met with the Staff at Pretax, I knew i was going to be happy. From the initial appointment to having my income tax e-filed was a pleasant experience. I was stuck with the same accountant that came along with the family. I wanted something different, i wanted to understand a little more about Tax planning. Pretax made sure all my entitled deductions were properly deducted, they also reviewed my last two years of my S-Corp tax returns and guided me in the right direction. Pretax took the tax burden off of my shoulders by providing our business monthly bookkeeping for a decent price, now i can get back to running my business and not worrying about paperwork. They listened to my needs and organized a plan that suites my business. Thank you Pretax Inc! read more

I just called to inquire about filing my wife's scorp. Here's the conversation: Me: what would the cost be for filing scorp through you ? Pretax: can't give it over the phone Me: okay Silence ... Silence... Me: hello Pretax didn't answer, and hung up the phone. ---------------- How rude are these people, if this is how they will behave before getting the business, imagine how they'll treat you afterwards... Stay away from these jerks... read more

After having gone through few different accountants in the past, I feel I finally found the one where I feel comfortable with doing my taxes and don't leave the office with still questions in my mind. It's definitely not everyday that I take the time to review a business or individual. I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with Narek. I am a studious person and contacted what seemed like every single Accountant in Glendale and Burbank. Narek took the time during our free 1-hour consultation to really understand what was needed. His corporate tax experience helped a lot and he took action immediately to make sure we were abiding to the State and Federal deadlines. Narek understands the value of a long-standing relationship with his clients and began to spell out a long-term strategy that could greatly benefit us into the very distant future. Narek was easy to understand, articulate, and educated. He was friendly and patient and wasn't "all about the business" as you may say, which is refreshing when sitting down dealing with your money for a couple hours at a time. I would highly recommend Narek and will be doing so to any friends/family in need of a tax consultant. This is your money and your future, put it in the hands of someone like Narek, not some "turn-key" operation like H&R Block. Narek will be a great accountant for your Corporation... promise read more

Pretax is the BEST place to go for your taxes. Narek has been my accountant for 3 years now. He truly cares about each and every single person. It's not just a business for him. If you go by him you will notice how great of an individual he is also. On top of it he is excellent when it comes time for taxes. No body likes doing there taxes. Narek actually makes you enjoy doing your taxes. Everything is explained thoroughly. Office staff is very professional and very friendly as well. Thank you PRETAX for not making it more stressful for me at a stressful time. HIGHLY recommend all my friends, family and fellow yelpers to go here. read more

Wow, what a knowledge theses guys have is unbelievable, for past 15 years I have never been explained so many details about taxes. He spent over 3 hours with me just to explain how he is going to file by business taxes and he did it very good. Great job !!! read more

Narek and the team at Pretax, inc have been helping my husband and I with our taxes for over 15 years ! Each time he has been very detailed in his explanations and alleviated a lot of stress for us. As a loan officer I have seen first hand how misfiled tax returns can hinder someone's chances of owning a home and I would never trust my taxes to anyone other than Narek, nor would I refer my clients to any one else ! Recently, in the midst of a very busy tax season while servicing hundreds of other clients, he was able to make time for me on a very last minute attempt to get my taxes filed. He stayed in the office late to get the job done for me by the deadline I needed. I would never go anywhere else ! Just a side note... I read some reviews below and I just have to say to Tobey A... it may have just been bad reception? Doesn't warrant a low rating since you never even gave him the opportunity to work his magic. And to Madison L... it just sounds to me like the office was trying to be accommodating since you saw on Yelp they close at 9. Again doesn't warrant a low rating in my opinion. read more

Who knew taxes wouldn't give me anxiety. Being someone who dreads numbers I am so happy to have found this place. It's a real gem. Narek did an excellent job . my tax return was done in less than 30 mins. Very sincere, social, professional and gave lots of free tips and advice. I will definitely go back next year and even refer all friends & Family. The lady who answered the phone to reconfirm my appointment was very polite. For years my husband and I went somewhere else for our taxes, we would drop off our paperwork then get a call to go back when our taxes were ready for our signature (and when they were ready to give us bad news every single year). Finally, we decided to go to Narek; we are SO glad we did! He did our taxers on the spot and guess what, no bad news! The other guy had been screwing us for years! Narek knows his stuff! read more

I cannot believe the customer service i just received from this terrible place.. i called to see what time they close (because sometimes yelp hours are a little off) and also because it is tax services so hours of course change.. anyway, i asked what time they close and he said "well...it depends, May i ask who is calling?" i said "im a customer and i was wondering if i could get in for an appt." he said well in that case we close at 7 and i said well on yelp it says 9..is that wrong? and he said "oh well then we close at 9 and laughed at me" how does he expect to get business if they dont even have a polite front desk clerk, ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! read more

I'm soo lucky I found these guys as my accountants!!! I've been working with them for more then 2 years now. I pay taxes quarterly for my business so it was really important for me to find someone I could build a relationship with. I used to go by (his name I dont want to mention) but I didn't feel comfortable, i was scared to ask some questions I thought everyone should know, and that sucks because when it comes to taxes it needs to be the contrary. I feel good now so its worth every dollar paid to them. Kudos from ALL IN, INC. read more

Narek is one of the coolest most professional guys I've met. Very quick very efficient! My mom has been filing her taxes here for years, this is my first time here and I couldn't be more satisfied! Great guy, great environment!! read more

Narek is a truly untruthful businessman. My husband and I were extremely disappointed with the filing of our 2014 taxes. Apparently, the establishment had been burglarized during the year and several of the files were compromised. We had incredible difficulty with the IRS that year regarding identity theft and multiple filings for taxes using our name. We finally found this out through the IRS as Narek gave us no indication that this had taken place. STAY AWAY, there are plenty of trustworthy accountants to choose from. read more

Tax Season: I almost hate this as much as the DMV. Thanks to Narek life is not so tragic every February anymore. Highly recommend this place! read more

Been doing my taxes here for years. Narek always has my best interest, honest, and hard worker. I wouldn't go to anyone else!

After going to another tax accountant for many years and leaving the office feeling like none of my questions were answered. My friend suggested I come to Pretax, Inc. this is my third year coming here and Narek is very nice and extremely approachable, not to mention knowledgeable. He explains everything to the point and doesn't leave you with any feeling of doubt. Definitely suggest everyone to get their taxes done here! read more

I had a terrible accountant last year and was determined to find a better one this year. I have a corporation and potentially complex taxes, so I really wanted someone to explain the ins and outs of my taxes to me. I called a few firms and was lucky enough to get in touch with Narek, who took a long time to explain things to me on the phone even though he had never met me. I did set up a meeting with Narek and had a wonderful experience thereafter. He was friendly, thorough, smart, and did a great job. He also listened to my concerns, really understood that I wanted everything explained to me, so he took the time to do just that and to try different approaches to filing my taxes to see what worked best. I plan to refer my friends and colleagues to him. read more

All it took was a one minute phone call and I had an appointment for the same day. I went in with my paperwork (Tax papers for 2 years, not just one) and the owner, Narek, got the job done in no time. I had waited an entire year to file my taxes, and after visiting Narek, I cannot believe how easy it was. First off, he knows what he's doing. He got the job done, cracked a couple jokes while remaining completely professional and left me speechless. He definitely knows the ins and outs of the job, and at a price that left me in awe. He explained exactly how everything works, kept me informed and got me exactly what I wanted (lots of money back). For a 19 year old girl, this was the easiest thing I've ever had to do.I will DEFINITELY not be waiting an entire year to file taxes now. read more

Great service very knowledgeable. I have been going there for years for all my accounting needs and am very satisfied.

I have never gotten my taxes done by a professional, so I went and spoke to 3 tax services that got the most stars on Yelp. The staff and Pretax was nice and the chief accountant was very nice and patient and gave me a lot of information about how to organize my receipts and the type of info needed for deductions. Even though I did not file my 2013 income tax with Pretax, but over all, it was a great relief for me to find that a tax service like Pretax was easy to talk to. I read more
