If I could give 1,000,000 stars, I most certainly would. We were referred to Norvan at MASH through our mortgage lender, and I can honestly say it's been LIFE-CHANGING.. For the first time ever, my wife and I (each business owners, LLCs, filing as S-Corps) hired an accounting firm last year, will not name them, but they screwed up A LOT of things on our end, and thank GOD for Norvan, when filing this year with him, he found so many errors when looking back we are now saving thousands from the year before, when we amend. Aside from the money savings, I can say simply the experience of meeting with Norvan in person and collaborating with him over phone and email since our face-to-face meeting, he's been out of this world extraordinary. We couldn't find a sitter, and had to bring our 18 month old, and he and his team were so lovely and accommodating, made us feel so welcome! This is the second year in a row I have taken my taxes to MASH. Ando is one the best in the business. He's patient, honest, knows his stuff and works fast. In 2015 I had pretty tricky situation regarding fraudulent activity found in my 2013 return. A previous tax guy in another stated prepared and filed my 2013 and stole $20,000 from the IRS. The scammer did it in such a way that he made it seem as though I personally filed my own return, wrote $55k off for a truck I never owned, for a business I never operated. I came to Mash accounting again because of the great job Ando did on my 2014 return. Ando was able to go through the old filings and noticed some discrepancies that the average person would not have noticed, if they weren't patient or cared about their client. Long story short, I was cleared of the $20,000 tax debt the IRS said I owed. Mash Accounting does excellent work and Ando is the man!! I highly recommend them. read more

Within one consultation and two weeks of working with MASH, I went from not knowing what steps to take to forming a business to having an LLC of my own and feeling confident about the direction of my company. Norvan took the time to explain the differences between an LLC and an S-Corporation, what documents I'd need to file, when, and other ramifications and write-offs with me.
