I generally tolerate a lot of the fare offered at Prets around London: the toasties are good and filling, pastries are fresh, and the fruits/chilled items are refreshing and well-portioned. I'd recommend a cappucino, muesli and a croissant if you're in the mood for a sweet breakfast.
On top of the varied food offerings, the tables are always clean, and the staff are usually nice (unless you go in at morning rush), and once you connect to it, the wifi isn't too finicky.
That being said, I try to skip Pret in favor of independent cafés and restaurants. This one is between the tube and my internship, though, so if I'm in the mood for a quick lunch or in dire need of a caffeine hit before work, this is one of my go-to places. read more
