I have been taking the children in my life to this park for years. Although it has become more popular in recent years, it is still a solid park. The kids have always enjoyed their own little city, while getting some age appropriate developmental exercises in unbeknownst to them. Definitely not your ordinary park experience. From the swings and miniature buildings to the sand attractions and "boat ride", it is a really good time. I highly recommend.

We truly enjoy this playground each visit however we wish it was a better maintenance for the park. There are plenty options for little ones from the houses to slides; sand sensory play to swings however it is sad to see no maintenance is being done and items are getting deteriorated fast. We will still continue to visit and enjoy what park offers. It is large enough to keep distanced with folks visiting the park. There are restrooms available but no water fountains at the moment functional.

Very clean, so many friendly families.. truly loved it kids a lot Of Fun .. Great place

Great idea however the bathrooms were horrible and smelt like death, the park was absolutely disgusting and nasty old socks everywhere food rappers torn up tire looking pieces I couldn't even let my one year olds out to play.

A great park for an afternoon. This place is amazing! There's little buildings for kids to go into to explore. It's a great place for kids of all ages. My favorite is that the ground is soft everywhere so you don't have to worry as much about kids falling down. There's a pavilion area when you walk in where you can sit and have lunch. There's swings, slides, a gigantic sand box (not too clean the last few times we have been here....reminds me of huge liter box honestly) rock walls, you name it, it's here! We love it here! It's one of our favorite places to go!

Large park at the J.C.C. Beautiful and amazing! Lots of different areas for the children to play. Little houses, a sandbox, glider, theatre, lil ones playground and more! There's so much for children to do at this park! Make sure to check it out!

Lots of things to do. Safe play area for the kids. We went a few times while we were visiting from out of town.

There was so much for children to do, and use their imaginations with adorable little buildings that look like a mini town.

This location is beautiful. The folks that manage it are committed to returning it to it's original wild beauty. They are in the midst of a large project to remove all the invasive species and replant with everything native to the area. So far they have done a marvelous job. I can't even imagine the cost involved. They are taking donations if you want to help. There is a large marsh area you can walk through on raised walkways and see all the work going on. There is another very large wooded area with nicely marked and maintained trails you can stroll through and just enjoy the beauty of the natural habitat. The main lodge is a very nice facility with plenty of room for children to play and classrooms for education. I highly recommend you take a sunny day and visit the "Nature Center at Shaker Lakes". See for yourself. It's a worthwhile project.

I've seen some activities posted on Eventbrite; such as live music plus a family scavenger hunt. I love the small waterfall and how the sky reflects in the water. There is an area to sit if you need to rest. The gazebo can be rented out for private events. I will be returning to walk through the center but the outside trails are worth a visit. Seeing wildlife is a lovely experience.
