Finally trying the food tonight I am blown away and stuffed. I had the stuffed manicotti with bolognese sauce, the margherita pizza and the zuppa dessert. Everything was great, better than great. We came across blue-collar restaurant, but when we pulled in, I was surprised to see it was located inside a golf country club. I almost turned around, but my daughter encouraged us to give it a try--and I'm so glad we did. The restaurant was beautiful inside, with a peaceful view overlooking the golf course that made for a really relaxing lunch. The food was excellent. I ordered the salmon with vegetable risotto special, and it was absolutely delicious--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. What really stood out, though, was the service. My daughter is nursing, and my granddaughter has soy and dairy allergies, so we had to be very careful with her meal. Our waiter, Matt, was outstanding. He went above and beyond, checking with the kitchen multiple times to make sure everything was completely free of soy and dairy. He helped put together a custom salad bowl for her, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, we had such a lovely experience--from the food to the atmosphere to the attentive service. I would absolutely recommend this spot and would gladly return.

Drinks came out quickly and the server was very attentive. Overall I'd give the food an 8/10. The dishes were really good. My husband had the cheese pizza and the Power Bowl (which is listed under salad but not really a salad). I had the Thai steak tips salad (which I all but licked the plate after, and that rarely happens). And then we split the Spicy Tuna Sushi Tots, which are probably my new favorite thing. Our daughter also had the cheeseburger and fries from the kid's menu. The burger was juicy and well seasoned for an $8.00 kids meal. Our only real draw back was that the restaurant was pretty dead and the food took about 40 minutes to come out. Even with the amount of time to get our food, we would be willing to go back because our meals were very good. The presentation and flavor combos really make Blue Collar stand out.

This one is laid out better for a crowd, and it handled a standing-room-only event surprisingly well. Because I was with a big group, the usual service details didn't really apply, but the bar staff kept things moving. I didn't hear anyone complaining about drink waits beyond what you'd expect with a packed mixer where people are constantly circulating and the bar area is full of conversations. The staff stayed friendly and didn't seem bothered by the volume. What stood out most was how consistently the team was cleaning and clearing. Glasses and empties never piled up. Even in spots that weren't obvious from the bar, staff were coming through regularly and picking things up quickly. With that many people in the space, that level of attention was noticeable. The place stayed clean the whole time. It was loud, but that was the group, not the venue. Parking was easy since it's in a shopping center, and getting in and out was straightforward. I didn't try the food, but it's a chain, so I assume it's consistent with other locations. Overall, I wouldn't dissuade anyone from going, and I'd go back if I were in the area and in the mood for a drink or a casual sports-bar type meal.

Joy definitely was not the same as the one on Linglestown. We tried the Thanksgiving egg roll, which was very good and served with a side of gravy. It should also come with a side of cranberry sauce for that holiday "twang". One of us ordered the Cottage Pie, which was served hot. I ordered the build your own burger, which is a favorite of mine at the other location. I was vastly disappointed by this burger, which did not resemble the juicy mouth watering version I was used to. The atmosphere was fine and service friendly, but I don't see us returning to this location.

They have a nice selection of options in the display counter including paninis, pepperoni rolls, and different pizzas. I chose to go with the Build Your Own Cheesesteak. First you choose your meat (beef or chicken), type of cheese, and toppings. It did not seem like there was a limit to how many different toppings I could add before there would be an additional upcharge. I ordered steak, provolone, sauce, fried onions, mushrooms and hot peppers. The steak lacked seasoning so I added salt and pepper on my own. I must admit the roll was stuffed and often little bits of the filling would fall into my plate while eating. The roll held together despite me believing it wouldn't. The young men behind the counter were helpful with making my selection and were patient with me while I asked questions and pricing for items on the counter. There were a few soups available but none really enticed me. Mom went for the soup and half sandwich meal. She chose the pepperjack tomato soup and a half Reuben. She really didn't care for the soup and the Reuben she deemed just "okay". I opted for the ruffle salad and added chicken salad. The salad was large and had a wide variety of typical salad accouterments while the chicken salad was full of cranberries and crunch. Really, it was nothing special, but with the thick housemade ranch dressing, it still was good. It was also large - I brought half of it home. Isaac's was a good change of pace for us. Next time I think I'll try one of their sandwiches. I'm pretty sure mom will skip the soup.
