I've now used prestigious pets for a few 3-7 day trips out of town and so far have been completely satisfied. Their prices are reasonable (cheaper than boarding), the service is provided by individuals who live in your same zip code, and booking is easy. Once you've done the initial setup of giving them two sets of house keys and filled out some minor paperwork on your pets (their names/needs/wants), you can basically just submit an online form, they send an invoice by email, you pay, and then you're set! Prices for holidays are a little bit higher than normal days, but not by that much ($18 vs. $23/day for 2 pets). My animals always seem happy to see me upon my return but not traumatized by my absence, which is about all you can hope for. If you check in with Yelp, you can get 10% off! read more

She was extremely kind and gentle, she LOVES Birdie, and she made some great recommendations to me for a vet and doggie daycare (me being a first-time pet owner). She was very prepared and organized, and knew exactly what questions to ask in order to take care of Birdie while I'm out (i.e. where should I put her if she's had an accident in the house when I arrive). There may be a slight price difference b/w Prestigious Pets and some other services, but to me, paying $2-3 more/ visit to have someone so fantastic is a no-brainer. Great people and extremely communicative!! Super super pleased with how they cared for my pup! They were on time and very patient and sweet with him! They kept me updated and any questions they had made sure they communicated it with me ! They also told me how his leftovers were on his walk which was really nice to hear so I knew he was having a Healthy poop! I've used Prestigious Pets various times over the past few years, but I recently hired Prestigious Pets to come every other day to look after my cat for three weeks while I was traveling internationally. I was incredibly nervous - my cat (Mia) has not done well with being left with a sitter in the past (think - peeing all over the bed, in the exact spot she sleeps, out of anxiety) and this was the longest period of time that I have ever left her. Prestigious Pets was absolutely incredible. They sent frequent updates (upon my request) with details about how my cat was doing. I could tell that it wasn't a "stop by for 5 seconds and leave" type situation, and that they were spending time to pet, brush, and even play with Mia. When I returned home, Mia was extremely happy and there was no sign of anxiety during the time I was gone. This place is absolutely wonderful for your pets needs. My dog has issues controlling weight and he has special dietary and exercise needs. While I was out of town for a holiday trip my little buddy was taken care of so incredibly well. I planned for the sitter to come for sitting everyday while I was away and to get my dog his exercise(walking he's not a runner). The sitter came to meet me and my dog. Anyway they sent me daily updates with photos about how well he was behaving and how friendly and energetic he was. I was extremely worried about him being sad that I was gone for so long. The pictures proved to me that he was having a grand time with the sitter everyday. They walked him and played with him each day's. The gave me all the updates about his eating and energy levels which made me feel very comfortable with them. Everyone that I worked with at this company was extremely friendly and a pleasure to work with. I have known many people that have used this service over the years. Thank you! Because of Prestigious pets, I was able to go on my Alaska Cruise. My dogs had gotten into sugar free gum as I was packing, and had to be rushed to the emergency vet. The older dog had a bad reaction and had to have two days of IV fluids and medication. Prestigious Pets got her to the vet on the last day, picked her up and took her home, letting me go to the cruise worry free. They administered the medications as directed by the vet, let me emails and photos to let me know she was getting better. I had left the dogs with Prestigious Pets before, and they also provided daily dog walking service, so I know I could trust them. These guys might have been good to my dog but they are extremely shady. They are not authorized to charge my credit card post the first week of use since I paid in full prior to any walk with checks. I just happened to look at my credit card statements and found they have charged be 3 separate times for a total of more than $100 in the past two months. Not ok! It started out okay and then went downhill from there. The girl I first met was timid but I thought it would be okay. After a few weeks I noticed that there was someone new coming to my house because the handwriting changed on the log sheet. I came home one day and my front door was ajar. I called to inquire and just to let them know what had happened and asked that they double check when they leave and all I got from the "manager" was "Ma'am, I can assure you that your door wasn't left open". Well....you can't unless you were the one that came to my house. After a few more weeks we noticed that our pup was really eager to get outside when we got home. Then I decided to try to see if she was being walked, as that is what we are paying them for. So I strategically placed my dogs leash and harness and noted that it never moved. I since have not asked them to return, I have emailed, and left several messages on the website as well as the office and have had no response as to why my dog wasn't being walked...why no one will give me my key back....and WHY WE CONTINUE TO GET CHARGED, AT A HIGHER RATE NO LESS, WHEN WE ARE USING ANOTHER COMPANY!!! I unfortunately did not have a good experience with this company. I paid for a typical cat visit (e.g. feeding, litter change) and numerous times the litter wasn't changed. Furthermore, there were issues with how much food was given and overall organization internally. When I complained, since this wasn't the first time this had happened, the response was poor and there was no guarantee that the service would improve or customer compensation (e.g. money back for one of the visits, since the service I paid for wasn't fulfilled). Normally I wouldn't write a review for one poor customer service issue, but seeing as it happened numerous times I don't want other owners to feel like they wasted their money as well. read more
