BUYING A HOME FROM THE COMPANY WAS ONE OF THE WORST DECISIONS OF MY LIFE. For instance, they quoted me $4,500 for demo and removal of old mobile home. The real cost was 11,000. There is no excuse for this. The salesman said, "It's not my fault." There was nothing extraordinary about my old home. 840sq ft 2bd 1ba. Either he lied or doesn't know what he's doing. I went ahead with the purchase. Huge mistake. The man also told me I would be in the new home in 3 weeks from delivery. It took 3 months to connect the new home to utilities and to pass inspections. I could write a book on all the problems I have endured. Shoddy workmanship, lack of honesty broken promises to make retribution. Why this company is still in business I do not know. They care nothing about producing a well constructed home. Mine left the factory with holes all around every window, missing siding. Did not have the door I ordered and PAID AN UPCHARGE FOR. "Sorry, we ran out of that door." I was told I had to accept this door. They would not even return my 160.00 upcharge. They care nothing about manufacturing a quality home. They care nothing about a happy customer. They give the manufactured home industry a bad name. Who suffers? Largely the elderly and lower income folks. I will fight them to the bitter end. File a complaint to HUD. File a complaint to 3 Florida State Agencies. read more

Buyer Be Ware. Panama City does NOT support the customer. If you see a good quality review it is because they are writing it. The workmanship is poor quality. If you have an issue, you can call or write until you turn blue. We had water damage, poor construction, poor cosmetics. I have sent pictures, contacted the company, written the company. We reported issues when it was built, then we had the water issues due to faulty parts. No one will get in touch with us. Madison was very nice, however, we still have not had anyone look, call or write back. We had issues with appliances and needed documents to prove warranty work. Still have not received that. Again, our place is not even a year old. Do your research and dont trust a good review to Panama City. I assure you they are company fakes. read more

My original trailer was supposed to be delivered and set up by Feb of 2022. I put the down payment on it in July of 2021. At that time I was told it would only take 4 months so we have plenty...PLENTY of time, no problem. Currently, (Nov. 15, 2022) Trailer is on property and still waiting for a CO. Note this trailer is NOT the one I had wanted originally because it is no longer available after a year of waiting, so I was sold another "comparably" priced unit because they could get that one right away. Mortgage company finally got the closing done with the first payment due and the home is still not ready. I have had to call, and call and call leaving messages that went unanswered. On several occasions I had to drive 1.5 hours to find out why "2 weeks" turned into 6 weeks without the decency to call and explain ANYTHING. The new joke is how can you tell when Prestige Sales associates are lying, ----- their mouth is moving! This has been a nightmare and has totally messed up my retirement plans. The delay has cost me and additional $35,000. If you are considering a mobile home RUN from this place... I've been lied to for 16 months of what I have left of my life, and I can't get that back! Hey Prestige, If you read this... perhaps you shouldn't SELL, SELL, SELL what you don't have or can't get! LIARS!! Now, on top of all this, when the trailer arrived the refrigerator had broke loose during transport, broke the kitchen island loose, and slammed into the wall on the other side of the dining room. Two wall panels have been damaged as well as the refrigerator and island. Last I heard from the dealer was they were squabbling about who was responsible for the repairs. Still not resolved. I was supposed to buy two homes from Prestige but have cancelled the second home to find someone else who can get it done before I die. This company doesn't deserve the one star that appears above this review but one is the minimum. This company should NOT be in business! This has been the worst experience of my life. The person on prestige homesite says pick your house and sit back and wait they do the hard stuff. Bullshit! I had to go to the county many times to get permit. They originally told me 4-6 months till we had our house and bullshit! When we bought the lot they said have it surveyed but when I talked to Prestige manager he said don't bother it will be done at the end. Well guess what they lied and we should not have listened after going thru all the financing we were told could not put a double wide on this lot so had to redue the loan for a single wide. Picked a single wide that we saw on the lot and told the salesman we wanted it exactly like that. When delivered which we were in a line for now over a year not one single thing was what I picked. They raise their prices every 3 months and then add things you did not request and charge you for. They keep you waiting in LINE for 18months and figure you will take what ever they give you. If you pick this company be ready to be in their LINES forever and when your done with that LINE you will go to another LINE. So now house has been delivered and guess what your back in LINE to get the problems fixed please save your money don't do it. These people lie about everything. We never got a call from our salesman for a year didn't return calls nothing I should have run at that point. read more

You will not get any help because there WILL be issues with your new home you just bought. On top of everything thing else that is wrong I just used new dish washer for first time and it just floods the floor goes under the cabinets soaks everything! You will be very unhappy with the trim work a child could have done better job! I dont even want visitors to see how bad it is! We started this process in December 2017, was assured that we would close by January 2018, and be in our home within 2 weeks of closing. Not only did we NOT close on time, we still have NOT moved into our home!! Our first payment is due in 16 days and work is still not complete!! We have been charged extra money for services that were supposed to be included, we have been mislead, told so many different stories, that the manager forgets what he tells us!! We had a date to leave our current home and that has passed, so we are now without a home!! None of this matters to these people, I have contacted the dm for this district and left message with owner of prestige, still no help!!! I can't even rate these people. I tried to do a loan and home package loan through them. We picked out a model home, put the deposit down and started this loan in October. We have yet to close on any of it. The people that work at this place seem to not care until you try to pull out of the deal. They are trying to keep my deposit. I had to cancel the land portion so we didnt lose it (because these people really don't care about you). Then decided to just to the Mobile Home and they are still jacking us around. I would NEVER recommend these people. Angela doesn't know what is happening but tries to blame the customer instead of trying to make the loan correct. If you dont stay on top of them, you can forget them remembering you unitl you decide to make a stink or need your deposit back. Seeing that we asked for our deposit back back in 1/8/2021 and I am still having issues with them. I would recommend you find a different company all together!!! read more

Check their BBB RATING D- , LOOK at their reviews and these are probably not all the bad experiences with this company. They do not return phone calls unless you harrass them. 3 technician visits and still have issues, floor weak and sags when walking across in areas the length of one side of home which the floor in master bathroom makes popping sounds, kitchen/dinning shakes center island. Sliding glass door frame high in middle probably due to columns not being level which is probably the case in other areas also. Siding installed improperly, anchors fasteners put on to tight not allowing for expanding and contracting so it now bubbles and wavy. Tech slapped and banged on siding as his way of flattening. You would think that it is not unrealistic to receive the same quality you see at their model center ( no more than but absolutely not less ) however be prepared for the later. Seems they hope you can't afford an attorney..... and will become frustrated enough to just stop fighting. I plan to be a voice for those people and provide free advertising also. Maybe they will correct their practices, but right now it seems to be a systemic problem in Nobility homes, who is manufacturer and parent company of Prestige homes. read more

Do not purchase a home through these people. I started my process in November 2017, they assured me that I would be in my home by Christmas. Well....... I finally moved into my home June 16th 2018. Once they received the money from my lender they are no longer available by phone or e-mail. The workmanship in the home is a joke. I paid over $100,000.00 for this home. They installed a damaged shower in the master bathroom and attempted to fix it. Looks like a child tried to repair it. They also installed a used toilet seat in the spare bathroom that is scratched and damaged. The batton strips were coming off the walls, batton strips missing in several places. Damaged flooring, crown molding throughout the home looks as if a 6 year old put it together. Also, cabinets that were damaged upon installation repair jobs poorly done. I also paid for upgraded carpet, I'd hate to see what the lower grade looks like. Also... where the 2 halves join together there is about an inch drop in one side. I opted for textured and painted walls and ceiling. Where they joined the home together the ceiling paint job is bad. Now lets discuss the mess they made on the outside.... I paid for an 8 X 10 shed, 10 X 28 carport and allotted $3000.00 for the driveway. What I got was an 8 X 8 shed, 10 X 18 carport and no new driveway. I can't even park my car under the carport. The shed was installed directly in front of my master bathroom window and in front of the outside water hose connection. They also left a pile of dirt in the driveway so when they installed the skirting I'm now forced to have a retaining wall installed just to hold the skirting in place. Missing window screens and broken switchplate covers. I could go on and on..... Please do yourself a favor and walk away from this company. read more
