Didn't show so rang at 5 past and was put on hold and then cut off. Rang back and was told that the driver had overslept and would be there in 10 minutes. At 20 past with still no cab, we decided to take our own car to the airport. Called from the car to tell them (at 5.25) and was indignantly told that the driver was on his way. Airport car parking cost 120 quid more than the fare but at least we made the flight. No attempt by Chigwell Cars to make contact since. Won't bother again.

The passengers included a disabled passenger who has walking difficulties. The Driver took one and a half hours to reach the City from Loughton and then got lost and was unable to find the Gherkin. The passengers were given no choice but to swap into black cab which got them there in minutes. I have made 2 attempts to ask Chigwell cars to investigate the journey and after being promised I would be called back I have heard nothing from them. POOR CHIGWELL CARS Clearly we will not be using Chigwell cars again. Please re consider using them especially for a special occasion.

Our plane was late in arriving and somehow signals got crossed and the driver was not there. After a few phone calls, we found each other. It was a quiet and uneventful ride. We have come to rely on the efficient and prompt service we have received from Twelve Transfers. We highly recommend this company. It is nice having a picture of the car and driver who would be taking us from London to Southampton. Karim was waiting for us when we left our hotel. The car was a Jaguar and was most comfortable. Karim was a very skillful driver getting us out of London in no time and on the motorway to Southampton. It was an uneventful trip. We through enjoyed our conversations with Karim on various topics. He was a very nice young man.

Our driver was there with a smile and a sign with our name on it. What a welcome sight after 12 hours of travel time! Our driver was so friendly. He told jokes most of the way to our Heathrow connection, and kept us very amused. He also had the car stocked with waters & CANDY! Kids thought he was the best driver ever. The company was professional. I arranged everything over the internet, pre-paid the fare and it all went as planned. No complaints. The place is reasonable clean, I have used this station for as long as I can remember and I can't ever remember any of the staff smiling at me, or being that helpful. They do have toilets, and you can't smell them from outside the door, but I would have to be very desperate to use them. There is no lift access and but only flight of steep steps to reach the platform, once your on the platform there is a few old benches to sit on and a waiting room that is colder than outside with a strong smell of urine! overall the station could do with a makeover it's no jubilee line station. I have given two stars as even though I haven't had the best things to say about the station without it my commute to work wouldn't be as easy, so even if it is run down and a bit smelly, I need loughton underground station in my life!
