I have been a loyal customer for six years, having purchased my vehicle brand new from you. I have always ensured my car is well-maintained at your facility, and it currently has less than 60,000 miles. I recently encountered several frustrations regarding a repair for my SD card reader. First, I was told the latest I could drop off my vehicle was 2:15 PM. I took time off work to meet this deadline, only to find out upon arrival that a later drop-off would have been possible. Additionally, I was informed that loaner vehicles are not available. Regarding the repair itself, I was quoted $500 to fix the SD card reader, which your team previously worked on in 2023. I was told that the issue was simply a loose wire in the console. Given that I have consistently supported your local business and that this component was previously serviced by your team, I am disappointed that the dealership is not standing by the quality of its prior work. While I would prefer to continue supporting a local business located less than a mile from my home, these inconsistencies have led me to look for a new dealership for my future needs. I do, however, want to mention that Kelly was very professional and helpful throughout this process. Fast forward to May 2026, I called the service department again because my dashboard indicated that my vehicle needed servicing. Aaron answered, and when I asked about getting a loaner vehicle, I was told there were none available. I then asked if I could at least be put on a list for a loaner, and his response was, "I don't know when that will be." I was then told to just drop the vehicle off, even though the EV technician was on vacation and wouldn't be back for a few days. I also asked about a headrest that had been ordered months prior, which I was told I'd be contacted about once it came in. Aaron's response was dismissive--saying he would "just call you back when I can." The female service advisor/assistant service manager does not have the ability to read a service history & comprehend what they are reading. My husband was informed the vehicle was still eligible for the 7,500 mile service. We made the appointment, showed up for the appointment. After they had already started the service, they then came out to tell me I would be paying for the service, as the 7,500 mile service was already performed. Trying to charge me $400. It's clear this dealership tries to scam the customer & tries to figure out how to charge you for anything they can. read more

I purchased my first Cadillac truck from this dealership over a year ago. Within the first year of ownership, my vehicle has been in the service department more than ten times. On multiple occasions, the dealership attempted to repair a roof leak but was never able to resolve the issue. I have extensive documentation, including service records, videos, photos, and written proof, showing that numerous repair attempts were made without success. Since my purchase, the dealership has gone through two general managers. The current general manager informed me that the dealership would no longer attempt to repair my vehicle and advised me to take it to another dealership instead. Despite my continued patience and cooperation with both the dealership and its service department, I am still driving a vehicle that leaks water whenever it rains or snows. In total, my truck has spent months in the shop. I reached out to ownership directly but did not receive a response. Instead, ownership communicated to the general manager that no additional money would be invested in repairing the vehicle that was sold to me. Once they were unable to identify or repair the source of the water leak, they chose to stop all further efforts. I specifically chose this dealership, a Black-owned business, to purchase what I considered my dream truck. Unfortunately, the way this situation has been handled has left me feeling dismissed and disrespected. I experienced multiple instances of unprofessional behavior in the service department under the previous service manager. In response, the dealership sent me a Target gift card, which I appreciate, but it does not resolve the ongoing issue of an unrepaired vehicle. This truck has been more of a burden than a joy since the day I purchased it. I am extremely disappointed in how the service department, management, and ownership have handled this matter. As a result of my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. I would like to acknowledge Lori, the service manager, who has been professional, hands-on, and genuinely helpful throughout this process. She has done everything within her authority to assist me; however, her ability to resolve the issue has been limited. There is nothing prestigious about this dealership, their service department is the worst. They had my vehicle for 4days causing me to spend money on a lyft and they never even serviced it. I called the day after I dropped it off and was told to allow more time they hadn't checked it, ok no problem. Didn't call the next day but on day 4 I called because no one had called me... they had to find my truck. My name or number weren't in the system and come to find out my truck had been just sitting. Causing me an inconvenience and costing money because it was just sitting. Spoke to the service manager who apologized at about 8am, said please give her two hours she'd get it checked out, I gave her 8 hours because I was at work. No phone call no nothing, got there about 430/445p to pick it up and it still had not been checked.They gave me my keys and sent me on my way. Had the audacity to wash it as if it had been serviced. This is why I do not patronize black owned businesses and yes I too am black. I would not recommend this service department, very polite but unorganized unprofessional and lazy. My 84yr old Mom 2008 Cadillac with only 106,000 miles was picked up Tuesday before Thanksgiving for a simple alternator. The first red flag was she was told they had to order it from California. My Mom bought her first Caddy in 1975 when it was the Rinke Cadillac. My Mom didn't receive her car back until Monday or Tuesday b4 Christmas. It was only when I call my Cadillac dealership in Plymouth Mi formally Don Massey/Suburban Cadillac. They said they could have the alternator there in 2hrs. And they did. Had to call corporate also. While I agree my husband should have checked out this car a bit more before buying, we were sent home with a tire that had a busted wire inside, we could have easily been in an accident with a blown tire or a flat the minute we drove home. There goes $600 (after a $50,000 purchase) on new tires a day after it was bought! I was ignored by the used car sales manager when bringing up this issue. They didn't even catch this awful paint job by the previous owner, easy fix with some car paint but clearly the used car department does not check out these cars before they are put on the lot. Sales and finance team were very friendly! Just look out when buying from the used car lot, check the vehicle thoroughly! Today, I had a highly disappointing experience at Prestige Cadillac and will not be returning. I scheduled a warranty related service appointment several days in advance, specifically waiting for an available loaner vehicle, which was confirmed at the time of booking. Upon arriving for my scheduled appointment, I was apathetically informed that no loaners were available, with no prior call or communication to inform me of the situation that would have prevented me from wasting my time. Do not be fooled by the upscale appearance of this facility, their lack of professionalism and basic courtesy show a total disregard for customer service. Preface: I am an Active Duty Military Member that is stationed in Japan. My wife is local to the area. In July of 2021, I purchased a 2019 Tahoe LT 4X4 from this dealership for $59,999. When I was sold the car, the finance manager spoke to how great of condition it was in. Frankly, for the year and the mileage (about 20,000 miles), it appeared to look pretty good. Once I was presented with the car fax, I distinctly remember asking the finance manager about the extent of the accident that it had been in. He essentially shrugged off the question as if the damage "before repair" was negligible. A few months into ownership, one of the headlights decided not to function properly. I tried to look into the issue as I am relatively proficient at working on cars. Little did I know, I was about to peel back MULTIPLE layers of poor repair work. Vanity panels were missing, a fender had not been resprayed properly (which has bleed through from the original color of the fender), the bumper had the thinnest coat of paint on it which immediately succumbed to rock chips within a few weeks of ownership, and the headlight installation was done incorrectly which was the reason for the faulty headlight. A couple of months after purchase, I tried to call the service department about the headlight malfunctioning. Aside from the abysmal customer service, I was argued down every step of the way until I essentially proved to them (over the phone, from Japan) that it was a fault from installation, not to any negligence on my Wife's part. Fast forward to December 2022, I had the vehicle appraised for possible trade in and I was offered, $25,000. When asked why, I was advised that the vehicles accident history was terrible!! Out of curiosity, I googled the vin number for my vehicle. The photos I saw were HORRIFIC!! The vehicle should've been totaled. Instead, it was bought at an auction, cheaply repaired, and sold at retail to an unsuspecting (or ignorant) buyer. Morale of the story, make sure you look DEEP into a used vehicle that you purchase from this dealership!! Because of either negligence, ignorance, or pure dishonesty on part of this dealership, when I drove off of the lot, I essentially lost HALF OF THE VALUE OF THE CAR!! Don't be like me. I have bought over 100 cars between my family and company over the past 10 years. I didn't expect such shady tactics for such a big dealership in Michigan. Long story short I lease an Escalade and signed my paper work early October. The dealership said they wanted to wait for my deal to be funded since it's an out of state deal. This is totally understandable as I own a few businesses and would do the same thing to make sure there is no fraud. However I did ask them to change the date on my contract for when I actually receive the car since I ended up receiving it a month later. They promised to send me a check of my days that the car sit in their dealership, didn't recieved anything! They won't even answer my Emails or calls. Fast forward almost five months later numerous calls/ emails etc no answer. I have screenshots of text proving that they offered me this as well as calls. I bought a used 2023 Cadillac ct4 online. I couldn't be there in person to look at the vehicle so I made sure to ask the sale person James chubbs if the vehicle had any damage. He replied me with used vehicle sometimes have dents and dings so I made sure ask him does this vehicle have dents and he replied no dents, everything is fine. Vehicle arrives with hail storm damage all over the vehicle. Dents everywhere that did not show on the video and pictures he sent. I went back to look at the video of car in slow motion cause he took a very short video of the car and very fast. I now understand why he did this. On the video I could see some of the dents so I know it wasn't the delivery company. I called to speak with James and the manager they denied that vehicle had dents until I informed them that I had the video James chubbs sent me. They proceeded to tell me it a used car. Used cars come with damages such as dings and dents. There's nothing they can do. Do not buy from this place online. They are fraudulent and misrepresent vehicles. If you buy in person get everything inspected they will lie to you and aren't even remorseful. I would say just avoid buying anything here. Don't say I didn't warn you. Our experience with Prestige Cadillac has been terribly disappointing and continues to disappoint three months later. We still don't have the vehicle title and we did not receive the military license plate we ordered. After three months and multiple inquiries with the dealership staff regarding the status, they are giving us a standard plate instead of the one we ordered. We really wanted the military plate to honor my husband and his service but now we will just wait until we need to replace the standard one. The vehicle my husband gave me as a birthday gift has been a complete headache because of our experience with this dealership. I am so upset and disappointed that my husband will likely sell this vehicle soon just to cut all ties with Prestige Cadillac. Their paint started peeling off my car, due to a known issue according to their very own painter. Their Service Manager told me we'll fix it, no problem. It was a ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. i took 1/2 off work to take it in and Nobody called me to let me know the status.. this was my 2nd experience same type of lack of a service. First of all -- the females that answer the phones for this dealership are unprofessional, rude and behave in a low class manner. Many of them dress provocatively. Quite bizarre happenings for a luxury brand. I have made General Motors aware about the mismanagement of the Cadillac brand, and all of these new & old issues. One other point I suffered a wheel and tire incident (bad pothole) on a Sunday. Luckily, the road side personnel came to the rescue and happened to be based out of Prestige. My broken wheel and tire was replaced with a brightly spray painted orange wheel. Which, although extremely embarrassing, is better than nothing but pretty terrible considering the rest of this story... here goes: The following day, I requested an appointment to have it repaired and brought the vehicle in. Immediately, the incompetent, rude and condescending owner "Mr Jackson" and his even RUDER service manager demanded that I pay a deposit for the ugly orange wheel ($500) because they were out of stock of my (very common) tire. Once my wheel was replaced, I asked for my deposit back, to which I was informed I'd have to wait 6-10 business days. Got a call from my daughter this morning, telling me she needed a ride home from the dealership. Prestige Cadillac of Warrren Mi. I said sure, but why do you need a ride? Little back story, she just purchased a brand new 2023 Cadillac from Prestige last July. She went on to explain that she had a fender bender, and was dropping it off to be repaired. I responded, so why are they not giving you a loaner. She responded, it's there policy not to give loaners. So after a little conversation with her on why the cost of her car $55,000, should come with not only a loaner when needed but also complimentary oil changes and so on. I spoke to the manager of the collision shop, who basically said what she said. So I then went to the new car show room and spoke to the new car sales manager. Quite eloquently he said the same thing to me, about its their policy to not provide loaner. After pausing a bit, as to not lose my composer. I explain to him, here you have a 26 year woman who has purchased her secound Cadillac from you. And she is more than likely going to buy maybe ten more cars in her lifetime or more. And me as her father as we leave here today, is going to explain to her. Part of the customer's buying experience is based on the quality and quantity of service one recieves after their purchase. So it's fine they have that policy, but my advice to you (my daughter) do not spend another penny with Prestige Cadillac. I am completely disappointed in the level of service Sarah provided. Your dealership was my first experience trying to buy a new Cadillac, and you failed miserably. I ended up buying a new XT5 awd Sport from Cadillac of Troy on 4/7/21. 3/30/21: I was told XT5 stock number 131482 was available, so I submitted a credit application based on the fact that the car I wanted was available. 3/31/21: SJ then calls and tells me it is in fact not available, but has a backup plan to have another demo XT5 available so I placed a $100 deposit to hold stock number 132310. I tell her via text my absolute last day with my current lease is 4/8/21. 4/6/21: I call Sarah and leave a voicemail because I haven't received an update (why does the customer have to call and ask for updates????) and I am now TWO DAYS from my current lease expiring and not having any vehicle. She replied via text at 1:39pm and said "sorry I'm out at the auction picking up cars. But when I get back I will check the mileage. I was pretty sure my boss said the 8th he would make sure it was ready". I replied to her text "ok thank you! please let me know" 4/7/21: Sarah NEVER replied via text or called back 4/8/21: NO CALL OR UPDATE ALL DAY 4/9/21: nothing from the dealership 4/10/21: still nothing after I sent an email to both sales managers Because Sarah's communication was trash, I called Suburban Cadillac of Troy on 4/7/21 around 11am, I left their lot THE SAME DAY with the same XT5 AWD Sport in only 3 hours. They did what Prestige dealership couldn't do in a week in 3 HOURS. I was NOT about to risk going without a car when I have a 1 year old, I'm GLAD I chose to try another dealership, I would not have a car at all right now if I waited for her to do her job. How can I get my deposit back? It's not fair take a deposit from someone, promise a close date, and never hear back from them! Beware Cadillac customers. My family has been loyal Cadillac customers for more than 30 years, not only for their quality and luxury, but also for their high standards of customer service. Then my 80 year old Mother leased her 2018 Cadillac ST5 at PRESTIGE CADILLAC in Warren, Michigan. This was her second three year lease from the new owner, Gregory Jackson, who had bought the dealership from the respected Rinke Cadillac. The lease was a traditional Pull-ahead to get the driver into a new car before the lease expired. The dealership agreed to pay the remaining three months due on the former lease ($1496). They never paid it. A year into the lease, she was receiving letters from GM Financial that the money was owed. Months later Finance Manager, Brian Krupp, sent a check, and then stopped payment on it! Thanks to Cadillac Executive Customer service getting involved, Jackson's illegal actions were stopped. Hello, Last Wednesday, I made an appointment to get my A/C serviced as it stopped blowing out cold air. My appointment was at 10:30 and my Service Advisor told me that my car would be ready for pick up in 2-4 hours. She never followed up, so around 4pm, I called to see if the vehicle was ready and she told me that they didn't even look at my car and that I would have to make another appointment. I was transferred over to scheduling and made another appointment for the next day at 11:30. However, the scheduling lady told me to leave my car up at the dealership and they would look at it. So, I called Thursday around 2:30 to see if my car was ready and my Service Advisor told me she didn't know my car was up there and she was going to get with the mechanic. She never called me back, so I called her about 2 hours later and she sent someone else to the phone to tell me that the mechanic said he will have a diagnosis on Friday by 10am.  So, Friday rolls around and nobody called me again, so I called up there around 11:30 and I was told that the mechanic said he cannot look at my car until next week. I am beyond disappointment in the dealership. I have been getting cars from Prestige/Rinke for over 10 years and this is how you treat your loyal customers. This place used to have high standards and very good and open communication. I didn't just show up to get my car serviced, I made appointments. Did the other cars get serviced that came in on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and just not mine?  This feels like I am being discriminated against. This is my neighborhood Cadillac Dealership and I shouldn't have to go somewhere else.  The Servicing Team never apologized and didn't make it right. My wife and I were on AutoTrader looking for 12, 13, or 14 Chevy Malibu. We found PLENTY. I was talking to a few dealers about their cars working on numbers. Then I called Prestige about a 2014 Malibu they had on the lot. I worked with Mike Battles on the numbers. They advertised 10,900 on Autotrader but we negotiated 9,100. We were more than happy with the price. So I thanked the other dealers for their time (don't ignore their calls after you, as a customer, reached an agreement somewhere else. That's rude) When we walked into the first set of doors in the dealership on a rainy day and there is an umbrella holder in the corner (this ain't your grand daddy's dealership!) So then we go through the second doors and there is a huge piano playing by itself (It's at this point I had a, "Momma I made it!" moment) I'm in a Cadillac dealership! Prestige indeed. Long story short, the experience was great the finance manager (I don't remember his name right now) went over the numbers with us and nothing had changed. The price hadn't went up. I enjoyed talking to him. I got a pure sense of truth from him and still feel that way a month later. We had a pre-approved sign and drive with Capital One so financing was set. No surprises (except the piano music was sort of catchy) I must say, the only ut-oh moment was on the test drive there was a noise when braking. Mike attributed it to the rain. We didn't think much of it. Well, the next day it was 87 degrees and bone dry. I took the car to my trusted auto shop and they told me both rotors in front were warped and the brake pads needed to be changed. Well I called Mike and he spoke to the manager and they told me to bring the bill and they'd handle it no questions asked. Well, I brought the bill and they cut me a check. No questions asked. I struggled between giving 4 or 5 stars but I appreciate that they gave me no headaches. That goes a long way. 5 stars! I'll definitely come back here when it's time to get my Caddy. I'll consummate the purchase by sitting on the bench in front of the grand piano and doing a duet with the mysterious invisible piano player belting out tunes. read more
