A to Z Workmen - When I turned down the 5k additional expense, they added 1100 for drywall repair they said they'd do free,14 days without a shower

I paid 50% deposit to get several things accomplished, we've been in a hotel since October 29th,…read morewith our shower and vanity ripped out and they keep sending change orders for more money, had the tenacity to send me a bill for services rendered due in full, still don't have a shower, vanity, and living in a hotel and it's the 14th of November!!! I fired them in a text last night and will be pursuing legal advice toward litigation. Very disrespectful, rude, and unreliable.... even had young children sitting in the car while they worked the one day that work was accomplished and I do mean one day, feeling bullied and trapped into paying more money to get the shower back and vanity replaced, didn't even order the materials until the day after they ripped out the shower and three tiled walls!! They worked a total of 3 days since they said it would be started on the 27th and didn't start until the 29th, and the days they worked may have been 4hrs. They also send meeting reminders at midnight and give 4 hour arrival window, like your supposed to hang out and wait for them to show up!! Then they had a plumber for some work and said 9am to 1pm, he arrived after 1 o'clock yet they said in their records he was there before 1, thus in their window, I have 24/7 360° cameras providing evidence of their lie...... to top it all off, im a disabled veteran and need help!!!! They took advantage of my wife and I. I will be reporting this to all appropriate agencies and federal government officials to remedy this issue.... please dont use this company, do your research please!!! I thought i did enough research and look what happened to me! Then they told me they would handle the ceiling and wall behind the shower since I had the material until I turned down the 5k they wanted to charge me for 10sqft of tile removal, then when I told them to not do several things that I didn't trust would be done this year, they started charging for everything, unnecessary stuff like structural bracing which I asked for the pictures of from underneath because im disabled and cannot go u der there and look, yesterday being the fourth time I asked and still didn't receive the pictures, seems suspicious to me. Hopefully we are free of this company, do have to recoup hotel fees, dog boarding, and money to fix our shower, the overwhelming stress and anxiety/depression i feel dealing with these people, the courts and proper governmental officials will Hopefully help!

Four Seasons completed construction on a sunroom to replace our old screened-in back porch back in…read moreNovember of last year. We've held off posting a review of the work because we wanted to see how things held up over time. Now the verdict is in. We had our porch screened-in about 15 years ago, but our backyard is steeply sloped and there were flooding problems from the beginning. Combine that with the nuclear fallout level pollen that we deal with in this part of the South, along with the extreme heat during the summer, and what you have is a great idea - a place to enjoy nature during - but only during a portion of the year. A sunroom was always a dream, but it seemed out of reach due to costs. We finally bit the bullet and went to see Ryan at Four Seasons after a home show display, and he came up with a way to make it workable for us. The weather last fall was about the worst possible for construction, so things took a little longer than expected, but Mickey, Josh, and their crews were efficient and professional and completed the work as quickly as possible. They kept us up to date on everything they were doing and made sure that if we had any concerns that they would be dealt with immediately as construction progressed. They were meticulous, making sure everything was done to plan and to spec, and had a good relationship with the inspectors to ensure that things moved along at a proper pace. The materials used were first rate, and after five months of use, it's safe to say they're going to hold up over the long term. There was an additional bonus - we had additional work done in the backyard with the construction of a new patio to deal with those long-standing flooding problems. They worked well with the outside contractor, and the two parties made sure that the side-by-side projects blended well together. The bottom line is that the sunroom is everything they said it would be. It has completely changed the feel of the house, giving us additional room when the grandkids come over. The patio furniture no longer turns bright green in the spring, the cats don't track all that pollen around the house, and the specially constructed and tinted glass keeps the sunroom from turning into a furnace during the heat of the day. It's turned into our favorite room and is used every day. It was money well spent.

Of the 3 screens installed, all at one time or another have failed to stay on track and have to stay in the up position. Totaled waste of $27k. Should have stuck to my guns with the wife and had a regular screened porch installed. Getting the company to respond to service calls is the other problem. Their response to problems is what did you do to cause the problem. Totally screwed. Don't do it to yourself, go with a regular screen porch. Don't talk yourself into the retractable screens like I did.
