He quickly responded and came out to talk with us about the repairs that it would need. Within a few days he emailed a quote outlining the demolition, labor and materials costs for composite vs wood decking. The quote was detailed, yet easy to understand and thorough. Due to a family emergency on our part we were not able to schedule the repair immediately, but when we were ready he got us on his schedule within a couple of weeks. Stephen, his partner, led the crew, as they basically rebuilt the deck in a couple of days. Throughout the process Daniel and Stephen both kept me informed and answered my questions. He's very pleasant even during the work when I had questions. So we hire the company thinking he had all the bells and whistles with a 3 page contract as he stated he's insured for million bucks ok ( not really concerned about that but it's good to have) he lays out his proposal of what he's going to do. (None of which he said took place.) he comes next day with his giant truck and trailer that literally tore up what was left of a yard! Very inconsiderate of him! He leaves comes next day. He showed up when he pretty much felt like it which wasn't often but when he would he was working now. He would grumble that his crew he had quit so he was down to 1. Let's get it straight first when I hired u I had already asked if you had a crew if they don't show that's not my problem that's your you figure out how the works is done. So what was supposed to be a 3 day job turned into a 1 month nightmare if incomplete work and sometimes communication. Once he got his last payment he never called nor finished his mess. So needless to say they will not be on our hire panel ever note would I even remotely recommend to anyone that needs a handyman! Stick with what you say and what your plans are and stop giving the gift of gab which is all he did. He tried to get other work out of us and that was not happening! Don't book if you want finished work! Because I'm sure he will give you a rant on why he couldn't come on days he says he will.
