I'm rating on their claims as a healthy drink after a trying experience. All I know, is I didn't feel well soon after drinking, so I looked it up. In general, juices lack dietary fiber and can lead to blood sugar spikes, plus the most important thing is that unless juices are consumed immediately after pressing, they start to lose their nutritional value and quality. Add to that the fact that they sell their drinks in PLASTIC bottles that have been sitting on the shelf for several hours (if not days). Really, are they selling health drinks or another sweet drink trying to get your dollars from Starbucks? I can't speak for the nutritional value of the cleanse, or if it is a good weight loss technique, but I can say they taste great! I'm two days in and I wouldn't mind a little bit of solid food, but I feel great and I drink the juice is pretty fast because I enjoy the taste. This actual location is quite small, but it seems really convenient if you are ordering ahead. Do you walk and give them your name and they hand you the bags. It's pretty simple. Before starting to juice, I recommend speaking to your doctor or nutritionalist to decide best course for your digestive tract . the store employees may be informed about their products, not all are for everyone. Some ingredients may react to medications (don't drink grapefruit if you are taking BP or heart medicine) . I love this place! After I take pilates, I walk here to get my juices for the week. The staff is consistently friendly and offers samples to try of seasonal juices. They are very knowledgeable about their products and never push anything on you. When I wanted to do the juice fast for a few days the staff member spent over 10 minutes letting me sample and explaining the juices included. She was patient with all of my questions (I was a total newbie) and answered them all with care and compassion. Great for a quick cleanse or a pick me up refreshment after a work out, the juice served here is formulated to deliver great flavors and consistency. I have been to a few juice shops and the pressed juicery by far surpasses other in value, freshness, and tastes. Service is excellent. I went in very early. I went here the 1st time yesterday and felt pretty tired from poor sleep over the weekend so I saw they had a $15 dollar deal, lucky! So, first of all, I told the young woman I never been here before and asked about the deal. I was a bit out of it so she did give me a few eye brow raises when I wasn't listening to her that 2 of their shot selections being out. Sorrryyy. Overall, she was still nice but I found my 1st experience at a Pressed Juicery a bit lack luster and after reading some of the other reviews makes me feel even more left out. I wasn't offered any samples or encouraged to try anything before buying despite admitting I have never been at a Pressed Juicery before. That's why it's 3-stars instead or 4 or 5. A great selection of pre-made / packaged juices that are either fruit based or vegetable based (and a couple of options that cross over between the two). You are able to sample any of the juices before purchasing. It's a pretty fun experience talking with the juicer, trying different flavors, and assessing the great flavors. Prices are $6.50 per individual bottle, but they do have specials from time to time. This is a great place to come visit if you are in Westlake. A few things you should be aware of. None of the juice is made locally - this is a storefront only. While they say everything is fresh, there is no way to really determine that. Additionally, there is noting on the bottle that would suggest manufacture or expiry date. Although I've enjoyed every juice from them, for the price paid, I'd expect a bit more transparency around when the product was made. Also, the juices are all on the fancier side. While delicious, sometimes you don't want cayenne pepper or mint in your juice, leaving you with no options. I'd like them to offer at least a few basics, such as fresh orange, apple, tomato, or pineapple juice. Loss of stars is due to the fact that you don't know when it was made and lack of seemly basic juice options. PS, if you are looking for more basic juice options, the new grocery store in the Westlake Promenade has a much greater selection, but on average they are $1 more per bottle than Pressed Juicery. read more

I've yet to have a juice here that I didn't like. I even tried the charcoal one, and it was pretty good. My favs are Roots 3 (apple, beet, ginger, lemon,) Citrus 3 (grapefruit, mint,) and Fruits (orange, turmeric, fuji apple, lemon,) and Fruits (apple, ginger, lemon, cayenne.) I also love their alkaline H20, it's unlike any other I've had before, it's kind of thick, if that makes any sense.
