Excellent coffee and friendly staff. Service was a little slow when it opened, but is now par for the course!

I could have spent the entire day digging. Employees at the counter were incredibly helpful and friendly. This is on Record Store Day too, and there were so many people shopping but even the other patrons were overall very respectful and mindful of space. I was slightly disappointed because some of my favorite artists they didn't have markers for and therefore I assume they didn't carry vinyl for in general (Rhapsody, Kehlani, Gang Starr, The Hip Abduction) and were completely out of a few others (Toni Braxton, Brandy). On the flip side, we found some records that were absolute gems. They also said that they can order the records that I couldn't find, so overall I think that it makes up for what they don't have in immediate stock. We were also shopping from out of state, and they were able to ship our large haul back home. This was a dope experience and exactly why you should shop local.

I brought in a curated stack of clean, high‑demand records and was met with one of the most disrespectful experiences I have ever had. The buyer behind the counter was openly flippant, dismissive, and acted like I had no idea what I was bringing in. His attitude alone set the tone -- rushed, condescending, and completely uninterested in treating me with respect. I think it takes longer than five minutes to look at the quality and condition of 30 records. He opened with a lowball offer that did not match the titles, rarity or the condition, and when I questioned it, he said "records not selling" while we are standing in a store literally packed with people buying vinyl. It was insulting, and it was clearly meant to make me feel like I should be grateful for whatever lowball number he threw out. The moment I pushed back and asked for my records back, his offer suddenly jumped up but still well under a fair trade. That tells you everything about their honesty and ethics. It was not about fair value -- it was about seeing what they could get away with - how low they could lowball. To top it off, they paid with a check instead of cash, which made the whole thing feel even more disrespectful, inconvenient, and dismissive. In hindsight, I wish I had taken my records back but I was so disoriented by the disrespect and clerk behavior. And it made me realize why I never sell or trade records. If you care about being treated with basic respect or honesty, take your business somewhere else. I will never buy anything from this disreputable unethical establishment. And you should not either. This is not a mom and pop business but a business operating without integrity exploiting its customers.

But I know a few who do and wanted to check out this collection. I was created immediately by staff and we had a short and funny chat as like me, about 30 years ago, at the advent of the CD, we bought the new equipment and let go of most of our. Collections of records . In retrospect maybe premature as they are back. But I'm satisfied with what I have now but value the choices of others with room and time for both. If you are looking for something specific they likely have it here unless extremely obscure. The selection was huge and better organized than many similar retro music stores that I have seen in other cities. These seemed in very good condition though they have random bins of more worn items in the bargain bins on the sidewalk. Go take a look if you have equipment and if not, they may have what you need here too. The staff person told me so but I did not have time to look.

We found our way to Pearl Street mall and asked some shoppers where we could find a dessert place. Apparently Boulder people only eat salads so we were on our own. We walked a few blocks deep into the mall and didn't find anything so we headed back to the car. On a whim we walked past our car to the next intersection to see if there was some dessert place there. The only sweet place we came across was Paradise Found Records. I collect old vinyl and I'll usually stop into a record store to see if they have anything from my wish list. Sean, a bearded, long-haired music aficionado asked if he could help me find anything. I opened up the list on my phone and read off the first one. He went straight to the album and proudly showed it to me. I was shocked. These albums are still on my wish list because they are impossible to find. I named the next one. He walked like a man on a mission and quickly found that one also! He knew exactly where these antique titles were as if he was digging through his own record collection! I was elated, but a little suspicious. Do they have these albums because they're so expensive no one is buying them? I flipped the album over to see the price. SIX DOLLARS! That is unheard of! Years ago used vinyl albums in decent condition were going for $12 and the prices have just gone up from there. Recently I bought a used album for $18. I listened to all the albums as soon as we got home and they sounded great. Oh, why don't we live in Boulder?!

This was a fun find in Nederland…read more I've been a vinyl junkie for years and have slipped off the beaten path over the last few years. This was the necessary kick in the pants I needed. My wife and I were enjoying a nice walk around town and as soon as I saw a record store (in this tiny town, no less) I knew I had hit the jackpot. It's a small shop, though it packs a punch. They were undergoing some maneuvering and restocking on this particular day, so they have an even larger more robust collection than what I happened to see. I always let the record store guide me to ear porn enlightenment. I enjoy many genres of music, but when I visit a shop I read the room and let the music do the talking. Which led me to the reissued release of High On Fire's "Art of Self Defense' a cult classic in the stoner metal realm. Picked it up and bought it on the spot. The employee was super kind and down to earth. I spent a good chunk of time sifting through records, but knew my wife would kill me if I spent too much time in there. Now I get to add a wonderful record store to my Nederland excursions. Consider me a happy camper!

I enjoyed my stop in, found a record I was on the hunt for.
