My wait was very short, EVERYONE who I interacted with treated me extremely well, from the security guard to the nursing staff. While I would have much rather been pretty much anywhere else, I really needed medical attention, and the staff made me feel as comfortable as I could have been. Was never seen, left and went to the nearest ER. I went in with jaw pain and left arm pain and while in the waiting area for quite some time I started getting a headache. I felt as if they did not take me serious, like I just want to spend my day hanging out in an urgent care because I have nothing better to do. Ha! Finally got taken back for just an IV to be put in and blood drawn, got poked 3 times and he was being so rude and I said I am feeling faint cause I was already feeling like I was gonna faint and then taking blood made it worse and needed to lay down, he was rude again saying there were no beds and yeah that's what happens when he draws blood and then he said I can't put in an IV on you gonna need to have someone else come and then I said why am I here then and left. -100/10 service and care cause they don't care at all there, I would never go there!! read more

Went to Urgent care on Harper. The Medical physician used the word "referral" to Emergency Room. We went to PresNow where the secretary decided that we needed to go to hospital. Tried explaining but she accused us of raising our voice. We told her to look at My chart. She asked if we wanted to speak to charge nurse. Who listened to us and immediately told secretary to check her in. This happens when an unqualified person decides they are medically qualified to make a decision. If the word "referral" is the primary problem. Either let the patient finish talking before calling security over and raising your voice at patient. And ask your fellow physicians not to use "referral" and use something a secretary can understand. Looking for medical care in Albuquerque you are rolling the dice. If want confidentially, do not come here! The wait is so long, wait room is tiny. I heard every person's reason of visit along with their names, address, and phone#. There is one exit/entrance that is blocked by a metal detector and barrier. The security was not posted as he should have. The day was busy and full of wheelchairs. If fire was to break, people would most definitely get hurt. The location does need protection, but that's where the security guard comes into play. Seen quickly after husband's fall from a roof. Because of head injury sent directly down to their critical care unit at the main hospital. Was very impressed with their initial evaluation and quick response. He remained in critical care for four days and when stabilized was sent to a rehab facility. read more

Best urgent care I have seen in Albuquerque. Very professional staff, very nice waiting room too. They take most insurances including Medicare. They have an Emergency Room facility in the same building. They are able to take X-rays, labs etc if you need more extensive care. read more

She went here on an urgent basis and called me in California and told me everybody was so friendly and was impressed how wonderful the staff and doctors were to her and the care they gave her. Triage Super slow poor triage, like med tech flunk-outs. In September 2020 it was a good experience. Now in November 2020, they are useless. They turned away a couple people with COVID-19 symptoms. It took an hour of waiting for triage after I already called the PresRN and she told me to get to the ER ASAP for elevated BP with meds and severe back pain. They just let me sit there. With severe back pain only slightly relived by lying down, there was only a single bench in the entryway vestibule to lie down. Once in triage, a tech said "well, the cold weather makes people's backs ache". I have a herniated disc at L5-S1. The nurse kept asking me questions I already answered. Then said "we'll probably take x-rays once we can get you into a room". BP meds kicked in and they sent me back to the waiting room. After an hour and calling my doctor, I just walked away, never called me. Horrible care is what you'll find here. As a Presbyterian patient, they still couldn't access my records, not even the ones from a visit to the same location 2 months prior. A couple months back Jasauna at the front desk was amazing. Now the front desk is full of inept clerks and a security guard that doesn't do anything. Don't waste your time time here. If you have a true emergency go to the ER entrance or somewhere else. read more

Pleasant, professional young woman checked us in around 4:30. She invited us to have a cup of Folgers. TV was on - to watch and pass the time. About 6 folks were seen ahead of husband. Free WiFi entertained us while we waited. After about 20 min. Jason, the paramedic, took blood pressure after nurse Pamela took medical history. More waiting - for a room to be cleaned for an EKG and blood test. Thank goodness it's a nice place, quiet, and with a comfortable temperature. We continued to wait, & watched several more people come in & be seen in the interim. After 2 hours, Casey did the blood work, Jason did the EKG, Julio did a chest X-Ray, and finally Dr. Nichols saw husband. When he wanted another 2 hours for observation, husband asked for pillows. Dr. Nichols brought blankets to make husband more comfortable as no pillows were available. Victor, the respiratory tech, was with husband during those 2 hours, hooking and unhooking wires to husband. Everyone impressed husband with professionalism, attentiveness, & kindness. And it's Christmas! It's 9:15, and we're waiting for results on another blood test. It's been a long night and day. We awoke at 2:30AM in FL to fly here for Christmas in NM. We continue to wait for a diagnosis. Regardless of the outcome, we are confident we will find answers. This is a first rate facility. P. S. We checked out at 9:45. This place is not HIPAA compliant nor do they follow universal precautions. Triage is in the lobby with a flimsy partition so we can all hear everyone's medical business. Even worse they did not properly wipe down the pulse oximeter or thermometer between patients. The person right before us was very ill (we know this thanks to that lax HIPAA compliance). I asked the triage nurse if everything was sanitized between patients. He said yes but I watched 5 more go through before we were finally called back and did not see any signs of this. I saw no cleaning supplies to indicate this ever happens. Same with the room we saw the PA in. Luckily my daughter was fine but I sure will be upset if we end up sick in the next couple of days because we went in for injury not illness. I've been a parent 12 years and have managed to avoid urgent care/ ER for her and this is exactly why! read more

My wife and I had to take our daughter into the ERfor stitches above her eye. We left that one after 3 hours of literally no one being called from the waiting room. They recommended this place because it was described exactly as a 24/7 urgent care and an ER. We arrived at about 11:00 and she wasn't seen until 7:15 in the morning.There was a woman how was clearly in agony, and all the staff did was ignore her, FOR HOURS. The same goes for another gentleman, who was clearly in such pain that you could here him groan, and you could tell how hard it was for him just to even sit. So we went for a pretty serious issue. My child was having trouble breathing. And I know a lot of things depend on why you go there, such as wait times and service provided. But here is my review. They get deducted a star because of the front desk. Not sure why people working the front desk always have to be so terrible. But the first time I came, they were rude. And the second time, they were untrained. Also, they sent me back to my car to drive around to the back to be triaged. Silly me thought that meant someone was back there triaging people. Nope. It was 20 minutes before someone called me on the phone to ask about symptoms. Meanwhile my son was unable to breathe. Once they did call me and discovered he was in distress, the immediately ran out and service was great after that. I was worried there was only one person working and it would be a 4 hour wait. Nope. Within minutes of entering the building, we had a couple Nurse Practitioners, Respiratory Therapist, RN's and MD's checking on my kid. They had blood drawn, flu and rsv test complete almost immediately. They had the xray tech waiting by the door for the doctors to finish. When shift change happened, the new MD came in right away to assess. The service from the providers was amazing, once you get past the front desk. The facility is clean. They don't have pillows which is unnecessarily uncomfortable, but eh. I wish I remembered everyone's name but Tess (the Nurse) was amazing. Dr. Swindle was great. Dr. Ing. was on top of things. Everyone did wonderfully and worked together quite well. read more

Wow.I only gave two stars because honestly my first experience with this Urgent/ER was pretty good but every time after that has been a horrendous Sh#t show. My husband took my son in with head injury he fell twice in one week and kept having headaches he's 5. His doctor gave us a phone appt and assured us to wait a few more days before worrying yada yada but he threw up just a bit an hour later still with headache so I wanted second opinion. I couldn't join my husband to take him in deciding I'd make dinner because it was 5pm surely they'll see him right away. It is now almost 1am and my husband and son were taken back, put in a room and they've been in there over an hour now. Yes that's right they didn't call them until midnight! From 5pm? Unacceptable. Im so nervous and I feel like it may obviously not be urgent but who knows we are awaiting Cat Scan results and now we're wondering if we'll see them in this century! Last time I went was horrible wait too I had skin infection and after waiting 3 hours I left. The sad part here is though that the staff is great and polite and thorough however we need like 5 more of these in Albuquerque, 2 at least and these poor people are getting tax, hire more employees Presbyterian! Make college more affordable government so people can attain these jobs without spending a fortune so much that all the good pay would go to waste! The year 2022has been awful. Lastly, stop taking people when you get too full! Stop the greed Pres! I cannot wait until they're home safe my poor husband I hope my son is okay, so worried. Go elsewhere, probably another state. This place is horrible. First off there are 40-50 cars in the parking lot. I thought the place was full, but the front desk said all the cars are people that work there. But I am not sure what the hell they are doing here. I waited 45 minutes to be "triaged" waited 50 minutes back in the waiting room, only to be taken back to a room "to be seen by a Dr right away" and have been waiting in the hospital room for 40 minutes without anyone coming to check on me. There were two people in the waiting room when I walked in. I even called before I came and asked the person if they were busy and she said no. It is a nice complex, but there is no urgency to see patients. I will never come back here again! I do not think they even have Doctors here as I have yet to see anyone that looks like a Dr. So what are the 40-50 people doing who are working here??? Presbyterian has a huge problem! My daughter went in with severe back pain, fever, and nausea. They ran urine and blood tests and told her it will now be an ER visit. Also gave a CT scan. When we received her MyChart results, her urine and blood tests showed she was battling an infection so we figured she will get treated. Dr came in said everything looked just fine and "perfectly" normal, said he didn't know what was wrong with her and sent her home with muscle relaxers. She got progressively worse overnight and next day so we took her to Albuquerque ER, there they immediately diagnosed her and treated her for a kidney infection. Now we have a huge bill from PresNow when they didn't help her with anything but made her worse by not treating her correctly at the time all because they didn't take the time to read her test results. We will never go back or ever recommend anyone to go to this location, seems like they just want to bill you for everything they can and not give you proper care in return. read more

I have a history of DVT and pulmonary emboli (blood clots in legs and lungs), atrial fibrillation, and other dangerous/life threatening health issues. Yesterday, I went to this ER, explained my medical history, and told them I was presenting with symptoms of blood clots in my legs and lungs. I waited 6 hours and was never seen by a provider. The person in charge of triage here is absolutely horrid. People with minor injuries were being taken back to rooms before me, sitting there with potentially life threatening situations. AVOID THIS URGENT CARE!!! I cut my leg, not severely, but it was deep and I couldn't get it to close. Prob needed a couple stitches or an experienced med professional to glue and set it with steri strips. But after waiting for 5 1/2 hours I was never seen. At one point about 5 hours into it, a person came around wit a computer and I was still 10th down on the list. I would have probably been there another 5 hours. I finally just got up and left and took my chances that my wife & I could close it up with glue & steri strips. I very rarely seek medical attention, I'm a "just rub some dirt on it" guy. I understand we are dealing with Covid and was trying to be patient. This ER didn't check temperatures, didn't require surgical masks. Several people had masks hanging below their noses. I was sent from Northside urgent care to get a CAT scan because I had a head injury. They told the PA there they could see me. Sat for hours after I was triaged. More and more people coming in, almost nobody leaving. Not enough chairs. Asked about any kind of update and was told there was no way to know. I finally left.
