I have been a patient of Dr. Lim's since 2017…read more I found him by doing research and reading reviews through various sources. They recently moved to the location at 1050 Essington and it's much nicer than the office on Hammes. Look for the red State Farm sign and you won't miss the parking lot. Dr. Lim is personable and answers all of my questions w/o making me feel like a bother. He has one of the best bedside manners I've come across. The delivery of my daughter, in the fall of 2017, was calm and overall a great experience. The office wait time is usually only a few minutes after check-in. The nurses have always been friendly especially Vicki (I love her almost as much as I love Dr. Lim) The front desk staff is friendly as well. Dr. Lim delivers babies @ St. Joseph & Silver Cross. I recommend Silver Cross! I've written a review for Siver Cross as well. I love that I see Dr. Lim @ every appt. I know some OBs have their nurses conduct the appts and you rarely, if ever see the doctor. If you or someone you know is looking for a caring OB, do yourself a favor and book an appointment w/ Dr. Lim.

She works with you on your goals of treatment and really cares about her clients. She takes the time to listen and I think that's one of the most most important qualities a practitioner can have. She even sends you a friendly reminder about your appointment the day before. You can tell every detail has been thoughtfully carried out. I for sure will become a "regular" here!

If you don't order from the general menu, the kitchen will automatically send you Amy's brand frozen gluten free entrees that I personally don't like at all. You can find these at local supermarkets and try them ahead of time if you want. Basically they just put the whole cardboard container, lazy as I see it, in the microwave and heat it up. Waalaah! Breakfast or Dinner is served! If you order from the general menu itself, you must do so before the time that meal session begins as noted on the front cover of the menu. Or else your automatic gluten free entree is already being processed and on its way to your room.

I arrived at 5:30 AM and met with the research assistants and the nurse that would be dealing with me, Colleen. She was professional and supportive. The room was small and clean, with a tv and comfy chair. I got breakfast at 9:30 and it was ok. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I have stingy veins, so there were multiple attempts at finding one that would work. They were apologetic and I took it in stride. The worst was going to the bathroom, having to take the IV stand with me, and 'collecting' the urine for analysis. She reminded me cheerfully and asked if I was ok multiple times. The only glitch was I went to have another test done, so I ordered lunch in advance, but due to a new catering company or something there was a big delay (45 min) because I came back earlier than anticipated. I had planned to have lunch at home and I kind of wish I had done that.

I was recommended to this woman owned business from my podiatrist who has a business near the area…read more I decided to try them in November, 2024. I was shocked how large this facility is. I have been to prior physical therapy business where there was only 1 therapist who dealt with you solely and I have also been to other therapy businesses where there are several therapists to choose from to get your therapy. I feel it's only fair to break down this review/rating into categories: Location: 2 stars - convenient Beverly location with ample parking in their private lot. I didn't feel comfortable parking in the lot - although there are tall light posts back there, they don't come on and it's completely dark in the lot. I would try my best to park on the side of the business but it's limited parking over there and they had started construction in that area as well where temporarily you couldn't park in those spaces. Treatment: 4 stars - physical therapists really work hard to help your condition. They thoroughly massage the injured area, give you exercises at the facility and at home. I feel the treatment did help my foot quite a bit. I didn't like the fact that even though I could of had an appointment with my scheduled therapist, if they were still working on someone, another therapist would guide you as to what your therapist notes are to do until your therapist is available. Staff: 2 stars - front desk staff was nice and friendly. The physical therapists were friendly as well which I could appreciate. What I didn't like is the unprofessionalism that not all but a few of the therapists had. While I would be getting my massages, certain therapists would be talking negatively about other clients out in the open by either saying their name outright or using first initial, last initial in front of everyone. I was also directly given information from two therapists about patients there (who they liked, who they didn't) and as a client, I shouldn't be told about any of that, it made me uncomfortable. I'm not going to be trusting that when I'm not around that I won't get talked about too and it's a valid concern. Staff needs to have a level or professionalism and be very careful also what's talked about due to HIPAA laws. Privacy: 1 star - The facility is built very well - each station had a table with a surrounding curtain to use for privacy but they were not being used most of the time (I only saw it used once while there). I saw body parts that I shouldn't of seen (e.g. a man's fully bare hairy chest (and he was a big man). These curtains should be used to give the privacy necessary for who is being treated and other clients around. That's what they are there for. Equipment: 5 stars - There is all kinds of equipment there to help you with whatever ailment on your body you have from exercise machines to balls to ultrasound machines for massage/pain therapy. I'm glad this business was able to help me but I do hope the things mentioned can be worked on because they are serious issues that can make or break someone continuing to use this facility.
