Absolutely most amazing, best trip I have ever taken. I was backpacking Europe in college and stumbled upon this gem of a place. Of my entire trip, I still rush to show everyone the pictures of this place before anything else. Some of the sites here are look like the pictures you see as those default Windows desktop wallpapers! This place is great for anyone with a sense of adventure and lots of energy! I'm a fat dude that never exercises but managed to get through the 7 mile hike, several mile Kayak tour then 5 hour long coasteering adventure! The views and energy level of the staff make you forget how exhausted you are! To top it all off the lodging is actually quite nice and cozy. The food is absolutely AMAZING - very hardy and rich. Find time to hit this place up for a lifetime of memories! read more
Great place to get away from it all for a weekend. They provide room and board in a cottage/lodge just off the coast and provide transport when necessary. There are a few activities to choose from, but my mates and I did the coasteering, kayaking and hiking. Our 4 mile scenic hiking excursion took place along the coast, on cliffs overlooking the Atlantic ocean. Although it was a tad cold, given that it was windy and the end of October, the scenery was breathtaking and a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the city. The map they give you leads you to this amazing pebble beach at the end of the hike from where you depart back to the lodge. The coasteering was supposed to include cliff diving or jumping but due to the rough conditions in the water we were only allowed to scale the large boulders while spending a minimal amount of time in the water. Although we were provided with wet suits the temperature of the water, 10ºC / 50ºF, still felt quite cold. The final activity, the kayaking, was pretty self explanatory, and while fun, the least interesting to me, since I've done it in more exotic places before. You take off from a small beach and you basically paddle around for a short while, there's also these miniscule "rapids" near the boulders that you can paddle through if you wish. The food served at the lodge, was quite good, all homemade. From what I remember there was a really nice curry and a really nice soup that the lady cooking made for our group. read more

I have just stayed at Preslili Venture for the Easter Weekend with a group of mates. The staff are to be congratulated for giving as such a brilliant time. I have quite a lot of experience of outward bound style weekends in England, Wales and Europe and this one stood out as being the best. The accomodation was clean, quiet and well deseigned. We were all comfortable and the showers were warm and spacious. There is an on site bar which had a good selection of wines, beers and spirits. The food was fine, the plates are not the biggest however they were happy to give out 2nds and even 3rds. The coasteering was the highlite for me. Look on Youtube for preseli venture coasteering for a flavour of what is in store. The guides were really experienced and knowlegeable, we all felt completely safe with them even though we were in quite a hostile environment. I would definately return here either with my partner or with other mates. read more

I traveled across Europe studying abroad and my fondest memories are with Preseli Venture, the Pembrokeshire coast, the people, and the food! Have no fear in traveling to the lodge, Preseli makes it easy to navigate Wales with step by step instructions and a van to pick you up from the station if travelling by train! The eco-lodge, complete with cozy lofts and warm-home cooked meals, was the perfect escape from London. You can customize your excursion but don't miss out on Coasteering and traversing. The sea and people of Preseli will rejuvenate you! After plunging into the ocean or hiking along the coast, come back to one of the best soups or dinners you have had in awhile. Warm up the fire and the lifestyle that you wish you had. Share in the adventure for a weekend, you will wish you could go back. Cheers to the business whose most important transactions are in hospitality and adventure instead of exchange rates and income. read more

This review is simple they look after you. Good food, clean and comfy bedding a bar , a log burner, smiley faces, good advice, a couple of comfy sofas, the adventure equipment is right next door and they look after you (even if you look daft). There's even a cheeky blue tit that stares at you through the big picture window to remind you to put the bird feed out! The coastal walk is fab. Shame it's such a long drive for us townies! The local pub does lock-ins too. I had my stag here in April - all good fun, no sillyness most want to do it again and asked why we'd all not done it before. Cheers Duncan's stag PS with a wet suit teh seas not that cold. read more

I am not naturally a person who prefers nature and adventure over city life, but the weekend I had with Preseli Ventures was so incredible that I didn't think twice about hiking seven miles in sheep poop. The scenery is breathtaking, and the staff knew exactly how to encourage me out of my comfort zone to try things I never imagined myself doing (jumping off of a 30 foot cliff into the ocean, for example). It's a quirky, joyful place that allowed me to let loose and laugh along with really good people. If you are even considering a trip here (or even if you aren't) - do it. You won't regret it. read more

Myself and my girlfriend went coasteering for a half day with Preseli Venture and loved every moment. My girlfriend was a bit hesitant at first as she is not the most confident swimmer but the support and one to one care from the staff was excellent. We are looking to do a longer trip next time and are really looking forward to it. Thanks Libby and Ant, see you again soon! read more
