I had only been to this location once before and it had been awhile so luckily I live fairly close and was able to make a quick shopping trip before work. It pains me to see small business and restaurants holding on to threads this year and holiday season so I love supporting these small shops as much as possible to do my part to keep them going during this terrible pandemic. It was a pretty cold morning when I got here but the ambiance is sophisticated and warm right when you step in the door. I love the collection on gentlemen items here, you've got cozy beanies and scarves just as you enter, soft eco-friendly t shirts on the shelves, and really cool nick knacks against the walls. There are carefully selected drinking glasses with Star Wars etched graphics on them, game cards, and a bunch of stuff that just whisper, "this is perfect for a man space." I walked around the small boutique conflicted on what else to give my boyfriend. I had already ordered something online but just in case it sadly comes in late I wanted something to put under the tree now. I picked up a soft shirt that I thought would be nice, but decided to wait until next time to buy that and ended up choosing this TV/movie trivia card game and some lip balm. Something he loves to do and something practical for the chilly weather. It was a small purchase but I'm happy I stopped by. I could have probably spent another thirty minutes in there just looking at everything displayed there and taking a better look at the clothing they have. I definitely love the scarves, beanies, and shirts here. They are for the most part very friendly and willing to help you put outfits together. They are a little pricey, but most small town boutiques are, no matter where they are. They also have a Facebook and Instagram which they update daily. A few times I have seen something on there, called them and they will hold the item for you. they also keep their website very updated. Once you buy something they take the size off the website right away. I did go in there, looking for a particular bracelet charm, they didn't have it in stock and ordered it specially for me and it came in very quickly. I love the style of the place 95% of the time. It's a little pricier, but the clothes are very good quality, so paying a little more isn't that big of a deal. The owner keeps the place decorated all the time and doesn't hesitate to help local nonprofits and the schools. She's big into helping the community. The store carried little girls, women's, and plus size clothing. Shoes, jewelry, purses, hats & scarves can be found as well. Candles and home decor are sold around the holiday times. A website has been added for the place recently. Heard a small rumor this place is closing in the next year or so. I surely hope not! I swear half my wardrobe if from there now! Love the place. Can't say the same about Lids, as it pretty much only sells sports lids. On my visit, I was looking for a Timberwovles lid. Well, no dice. Probably because they aren't a popular team in Nebraska (still, Lids had like three T-Wolves lids, fwiw). A man who I presumed to be the owner even admitted he used to live in Minneapolis for a few years and had a bunch of Twins memorabilia all over the place inside Pro Image. Go figure. I did find and purchase an incredibly awesome San Antonio Spurs "dad" lid, so I did get my lid fix after all. Not a bad little store! The lids/sports clothes store at the mall used to be one of my favorites as a kid, so browsing around brought back some nice lil feels.

I have an adorable pair of Alice in Wonderland leggings that I just love. They have the best t-shirts, too. I wonder if a small would fit me ok.
