Professional, quality workmanship from a conscientious crew. My new roof looks great .

I have a high-end slate roof in Carmel and needed someone to investigate and replace cracked slate tiles, while taking care not to do additional damage. Cesar came out and did the estimate - he was great to work with re price and coordinate timing. 2 guys completed the work couple of weeks later. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. In total 36 broken slates replaced in one full day. Feel good that my roof is back to 100%. Happy to use these guys again and recommend. BTW I called Scudder first and they were a no show on their estimate appt - I would not recommend them. use Premo instead. read more

Premo Roofing is truly a primo business! Their office team is amazing, their roofers are outstanding, and the result is a primo quality of work. I feel so blessed to have Premo Roofing do our roof. We hired Premo Roofing while going through a difficult situation. My husband was trying to fix our roof and fell 20 feet and was severely injured. I called Premo Roofing while he was in the hospital in a panic. The office staff was so kind and compassionate and the owner(Jeremy) helped us immediately. The roof, the service and the high quality workmanship of Angel and Gregory is off the charts!!! Thank you Jeremy and everyone at Primo!!! read more

This company is the best roofing and solar company on the Monterey Peninsula. They didn't install my solar, but helped me upgrade it and add backup battery system by Enphase. Customer Support is second to none, Gabriel Cordova has helped me over and over when small and sometimes large issues come up. They not only get items solved quickly, but the communication is excellent. I will be adding extra battery capacity due to the great customer support. When you want the very best go with Premo. read more

Premo continues to be so shady. They keep insisting I pay a bill for work their crew advised me not to do, that we agreed in person not to do, and that they have no evidence they did. Jeremy in the office insists the crew (he hadn't spoken with) did work, after they told me they did not. I won't deal with on Premo again due to my interactions with Jeremy, and gave my entire roof replacement job to Hastings Construction instead. read more

Gabriel from their Solar div came out to do a system check to find out why my system wasn't working at "no cost" . Spent over 90 min troubleshooting and told me some info that the Co who installed my system was totally incorrect & there's a potential fire hazard . I'm awaiting to hear back to find how much to re-where the panels . read more

Gabriel saved the day!!!!!!! This technician from Premo Roofing came out to trouble shoot the warning light on our solar system. Their company had not installed the system and we lacked the helpful codes (having just moved in a year ago). That did not stop Gabriel. He solved the problem in record time and instructed us going forward on how to deal with future problems. This service was impeccable. Thank you! read more

Ryan responded quickly and we found that there had been a misunderstanding as to my location. I appreciate his quick response and concern to get things corrected! read more

Horrible company to get Solar panels from. They send you with Daniel in the office for quote and he forgets to start your project so you're just waiting on news from him and nothing. Then they send a Jacob to inspect your roof and he claims permits from city will be requested ASAP. 3-4 weeks later nothing has been requested & project has not started. They continue to lie and make me miss deadlines. I wish I would've gone with another company read more

We were able to keep our business open the entire time due to their preparation and working around our customers and staff. Highly recommend! Thanks again to the Premo Team! Premo Roofing robbed my $5000 for repairing my roof. They did not tell me there is no warranty, they did not provide any contract to me. Premo is working for my property manager. After repaired, the roof still leaking, then Premo refused to refund any partial money said the job has no warrenty. They even tell me to replace entire roof which not even necessary. Premo robbed my money, dishonest. not reliable. Premo just took your money and went away. no star for Premo roofing, Be careful with those 5 stars reviews, most are not true. Dont use this roofing company. They rob your money. read more

We booked Premo roofing to re-do our country cabin with a new metal corrugated roof. Challenging to find a roofer that did metal, but glad we picked Premo. Ordered the product, got us on their calendar, and did a great job. The roof is aging very nicely after just a few months and could not be happier with the product and workmanship. read more

It was recently discovered that there was a flashing problem at a house I owned in Monterey. It was very important with all the rains to get that situation turned around as soon as possible. Premo came to me recommended by a friend. I called them and they were extremely responsive and prompt. They showed at the house and the agreed time and efficiently replaced the chimney saddle and thankfully called my attention to a couple of other problems they noted while up on the roof. I am very happy with their service and relieved to have a water tight chimney again! Many thanks, Jeff and to your staff as well! read more

We started working with Premo roofing last year for our projects all over Santa Cruz county. I like the fast estimating and great communication. They have done everything on the house, including advanced Skylight install, venting, waterproofing of deck surfaces, metal roofs, and of course our basic composition shingle needs. I highly recommend Jeff and his crew for all your roofing needs. Sincerely, Eric Lamascus CEO Elite Construction www.DiscoverElite.com read more

I would highly recommend Premo Roofing for your roofing project. From the early estimates, to explanations of the construction methods and process, all the way through installation and final punch list items Jeff and his crew did an excellent job. They frequently went the extra mile to ensure the job was done well and that we were satisfied. They spent extra effort working with another subcontractor to ensure the work was well coordinated and done right. Jeff is clear and transparent in his scoping and pricing of his work upfront and his crew were professional and considerate. And the end result looks great. Very happy we chose Premo Roofing. read more

Start to finish a smooth transaction. Jeremy the estimator was thorough and responsive. They pulled the permits and did all the back end work. He brought by samples of different colored shingle sets. The crew started on a Tuesday and ended the following Monday. It was a full shake roof tear off converted to comp shingles. We had skip sheathing without a plywood deck. We knew that going in, but it was impressive to watch how they tackled it. The front of the old roofline didn't match up with the back. They improvised and ripped 2x4's to make it transition smooth (pic attached). This was unforeseen, but they handled it well. After tear off, they found some rot areas and addressed them. The crew cleaned up daily at the end of the shift and left the area cleaner than when they came. They were clearly experienced and knew their way around my situation. The foreman was easy to talk to and walked me through the work daily. They tarped the roof thoroughly for the first few days after the tear-off while the attic was exposed. We have tons of squirrels, rats, and raccoons in the area, so I was appreciative of that. I had 4 quotes in total. Premo was in the middle of the pack in terms of pricing. The contract price and end price were very close. Hopefully, I won't need another roof for 40 years, but I'd use Premo again. Thanks! read more

As a property management company managing over 400 properties, we have a lot of roofs that need repairing every year. We have tried several roofers over the years, but have chosen Premo as our preferred roofer. They get us bids quickly, the pricing is competitive, and most importantly, the quality of their work is top notch. They are also a family business who takes pride in their work and reputation. When it came time last month to replace the steeply pitched and multi-level roof on my personal home, I went with Premo. They knocked it out in a week between rain storms, cleaning up at the end of each day. Since roofs should last 30-40 years (I chose 50 year shingles), I wanted to make sure it was done right. With Premo, I feel confident that they did everything correctly. They get my highest recommendation. read more

This is the best roofing company ! ... I have been using Jeff Premo for at least 20 years with no problems (leaks) ... ever !

Premo is responsive and has done a fantastic job maintaining and repairing our roofs. Highly recommend them.

There are many roofing companies in the Monterey, California area. But this one really stands out. We needed some repairs done to our roof and contacted several companies. We selected Premo because I felt their quote was the most specific and accurately described what they were going to do. They completed the work to my complete and highest expectations. They used two additional subcontractors, One to do the woodwork and one to do the painting. Both of the subcontractors were excellent! Not only that, but the employees use by all three companies were professional, competent and performed excellent work. I would use Premo Roofing company for any roofing work I consider in the future. read more

The Premo team helped us with several roofs on the property. They replaced one and cleaned and maintained several others. Jeremy spent quite a bit of time inspecting the roofs and gave us excellent advice about what was needed. All the men who worked on the projects were friendly and professional and worked hard. The price was competitive and the quality of work was excellent. Premo was recommended to us by a contractor friend who has worked in the area for a long time. We were pleased with our experience and would certainly use Premo again. read more
