We did a day trip to Windsor Castle, stone henge, Lacock, and the Roman baths. Our tour guide was John, he was fabulous. It was super convenient to have the transportation set up. We ate at the Red Lion in Lacock, it was a 2-3/5 but the staff were great. There is food at each stop which is convenient since lunch is not until late afternoon. Don't expect much time at each stop. We only got 45 minutes at Windsor and by the time we got to Bath all of the shops were closed and we wouldn't have had time to go through the museum so we didn't get to see the baths. Other than that we really enjoyed ourselves, driver was great, tour guide was nice and humorous.

The Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, and Bath with Pub Lunch in Lacock with Premium Tours turned out to be a very interesting experience. We got to the starting point early despite a time change (thank goodness for cell phones that know everything). We had Ava as our tour guide and Carlos as our driver and there was never a dull moment. We got to Windsor Castle first and got in line with other tourists from other tour companies. We took lots of photos while we waited and even ventured off to see an old church that was nearby. Once we got the castle grounds were told how much time we had and allowed to roam freely on our own. The castle is beautiful and time flies when you are having a great time. We then went to Stonehenge and Ava gave lots of use and interesting info as we made our way there. Lunch was a bit late in Lacock, but it is a lovely town and my husband and I enjoyed touring it. After that, it was on to Bath where we also took in some phenomenal sites. This is a long day trip and by the time we got back to London it was pretty late. But it is definitely worth the time and energy we spent seeing so much beauty, including two world heritage sites.

Had an amazing tour with Nicholas and driver Miguel. Was a once in a lifetime experience at two UNESCO sites that could not be seen properly on a screen. Such an exceptional experience. Nick was so knowledgeable about the two sites bath and Stonehenge. Lots of good jokes and Nicholas and Miguel seemed to feed off of each others energy. We had a great time with lots of laughs and the best part was how timely and on schedule we were. The group was polite and respectful and TIMELY. I cannot stress that enough. Don't be that dude who derails the trip by making the group wait for you. Nick was so nice and even gave us 5 min after the allotted time to make it back for those stragglers . So if you get left, it was all on you. Be an adult and take ownership for it. Anywhoo five stars and Nick has Iived in London all his life so has a lot of good recommendations for sites, food, and fun facts! Highly recommend!

Peter from Enfield was our tour guide extraordinaire. He clearly loves what he does, which showed in his enthusiasm, knowledge, humor, and wit. He's a non-stop talking machine, but manages to do so without aggravating my tinnitus. I chose the Stonehenge tour, which included the special inner-circle access. I selected the afternoon departure (there is a morning option, but damn it leaves early. Blech!). The sequence was: the city of Bath for a tour of the Roman Bathhouse, then to Stonehenge, then to Lacock for a final meal. For me, the Roman Baths was the least interesting, though I know a lot of people will like this sort of museum visit. You get to walk through a well-organized museum with an optional audio guide. Some of it was interesting, but some of it was just boring 'museum stuff' I was much more fond of walking around the city itself, and trying out a pastie from a place recommended by Peter. It was absolutely delicious. You don't get a ton of time, but I felt it was just enough. The Stonehenge tour is certainly the highlight. Getting into the circle, up close and personal with the stones, is a must for Stonehenge, in my opinion. They will have their own dedicated guide here which is hit or miss according to Peter. I thought initially that the large group would not make for good photos, but you get about an hour and at some point, it's likely the space will clear enough for a people-less photo.. not to mention everyone is trying to get the same photos so people are normally good about vacating an area if you want a photo. They also divvy up the groups in consideration of this. By the end, it didn't feel crowded and it will only be with people from the group you started out with on the bus. The village of Lacock is the (in our case dinner) stop of the tour. The food is not terrible, but extremely average and very overpriced. Very clever that they won't list prices anywhere beforehand. There's no obligation to purchase food, but I expect their main source of income is the few tour groups that come through, so it is expected. If there's time, you'll get a quick tour of the village with Harry Potter locations included. Since it is a village with actual residents, it felt a bit intrusive to me, but I suppose HP fans gotta HP fan. Even the bus ride is entertaining, as Peter will point out an immense amount of sights along the way. How does he know so much? But he also gives everyone sleep time, so don't worry about hearing him blab non-stop. At the end of the tour, on the ride home, he even will come up to each tourist and chat with them for a while. He really adds such a nice personal touch. I have to give him perfect marks. Shoutout to Sean the driver as well, whose driving skills are unparalleled. Keep in mind if you choose the morning tour, the sequence of stops will be different. They also make a point to say that stuff happens, and there's always a possibility the tour will be imperfect due to unforeseen circumstances like traffic or weather. In our case, it was flawless, but they definitely run a tight ship. Don't be one of those... according to Peter he's left plenty of people behind, ha!

I was planning a day trip to Stonehenge from London and after doing research on tour groups, I decided to go with Premium Tours (over Golden Tours and Evan Evans Tours; all were comparable). This review is for the Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath trip, which ended up being one of the highlights of our London vacation. Our tour guide was Richard with bus driver Chris, and they were both great! The tour was well organized; Richard kept us on schedule and was informative about each point of interest. Since tour guides were not permitted to spew facts inside the venues (since it would be too chaotic with the dozens of tour groups there at the same time), each stop had its own audio guide included. Both Windsor Castle and Bath provided a digital audio guide with headsets, while Stonehenge had a QR code to download an app and listen on your own device. However, the DIY audio guide method does require you to pace yourself and make sure you get back to the bus on time. Premium Tours has the tour set up so that you arrive at Windsor Castle slightly before it opens. It requires some queuing, but this gets the day going quicker to allow for ample time at all of the sites. This efficient level of planning was one of the reasons that I decided to book with Premium Tours. Admittedly, some of the stops felt rushed (you will NOT get to read and study every object on display at any of the museums with this itinerary), but we were generally able to see what we wanted to see in the time allotted (and that's the trade-off of going with a tour group - you pay for the planning and transportation convenience but on someone else's schedule). They did provide us with a fair amount of time at each location. For example, when we arrived in Bath at 3:35pm, we were given exactly two hours, until 5:35pm to be back on the bus. One could've easily blamed traffic for the delay and given us until 5:30pm, but no complaints about giving us a full two hours. A lot of other people on the tour group were able to breeze through the stops with plenty of time for them to visit the attraction, snap some pics, and explore the cities, grab a bite to eat, shop, etc. A couple things to note: - while it's not their preference, if you're not at any of the meeting points by the designated time, you will get left. (This seemed standard across all tour group companies.) - the first meeting spot at Victoria Coach Station is a bus hub for many tour groups. Make sure you know the name of your tour company and the tour stops so that you get in the right line. For example, there was a Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Bath, Lacock, and pub lunch tour with Premium Tours (their most popular tour) which was boarding right next to our Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath tour group. The tours are similar but still different, and if you're not in the right line, your name won't be on their list (obviously), and you can't get on that bus. - this type of bus tour - three stops in one day - is not for everyone. If you want to take your time at any of the one stops, choose a different tour that allows you to fully explore each place. If you are someone who wants to listen to the entire duration of every clip for the audio tour, this tour style is not for you. - while we did opt to pay for all admissions when booking the tour, you are able to opt out of some entrance fees if you just want to explore the towns instead. A few people in our tour group decided to walk about Bath instead of pay for the Roman Baths entry. - the bus had a bathroom (recommended for emergencies only); no charging ports were available on the bus (but none were promised). Onboard WiFi was advertised but it didn't work for me. They requested no hot food/drinks to be consumed on the bus - they did enforce safety and requested everyone buckle up while riding - we were allowed to leave stuff on the bus at each stop. I took advantage of this and was able to travel light at each stop; the bus was locked and I felt safe leaving my things unattended - while there are places to grab a quick bite at each stop, it cuts into your visiting time at the attraction (and could be a tourist trap), so bring snacks or a bagged lunch if you want to save time/money - the drop-off location (Gloucester Road underground station) was different than the pick-up point (Victoria Coach Station) - this was clearly communicated when booking the tour, stated on the confirmation booking, and reiterated by the tour guide. At the end of the trip, our tour guide Richard went above and beyond and made sure everyone on the bus knew what route to take to get home (shout-out to Richard!) I would book with Premium Tours again.

I recently took a solo trip to London and decided to book the tour to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Bath, and the pub dinner in Lacock. It was an amazing and very packed day, I got to see so much. The tour guide Steve and driver Christian were both amazing and made the day so much fun! All of the stops were amazing, and the little visits made me want to go back and explore even more! I will definitely book another tour next time I go back! I also have to say I felt totally comfortable and safe going on this tour alone!

Premium Tours was excellent. Two words: Nicholas and Ricardo . Nicholas (guide) and Ricardo (driver) made our trip a great experience when they took us to Stonehenge, Bath, Lacock, etc. Nicholas was super awesome in keeping my son engaged when we thought it would be the "boring" part for our first visit to London. Nicholas was very efficient in making sure we are all on time from the start (one of the first groups in, first out) to ensure we spend less time in lines and for us to enjoy the next parts of the trip...at the end gave us a bonus tour (keeping it a secret for u to find out when u book with them). Meal at Lacock was also delicious. One thing I regret is that we should have taken this tour at the very start instead of the end of our London vacation coz Nicholas had very heartfelt tips for a great London experience.

Absolutely loved fitting in a day trip to Paris during our week-long vacation in London. Having the right guide at your side is crucial for this adventure, as navigating the Eurostar bullet train system can be overwhelming and lead to getting lost. Having Anna from Premium Tours was the piece of mind we needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable day. Anna was knowledgeable about Paris and engaged us by asking questions, making the tour more engaging. Our day began with a warm welcome at LE PAIN QUOTIDIEN, a cozy coffee shop located inside the train station. Here, we received our train tickets and went through the Eurostar system to scan our passports and belongings. Once inside the train, we met our tour guide, Anna, who was incredibly welcoming and provided clear instructions about our meeting point outside the train in Paris at the Gare du Nord. Upon arriving in Paris, we boarded a spacious, air-conditioned tour bus that took us to various locations. Our itinerary included a panoramic sightseeing tour of Paris, a relaxing 1-hour canal cruise by Bateaux Parisiens along the Seine River, a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower, and a delightful 3-course lunch with wine at the Eiffel Tower restaurant (if an upgrade option was chosen). We also had ample time for shopping near the Louvre Pyramid. A tip for the canal cruise: the best seats are on the top deck on the left-hand side. You'll get breathtaking views of Notre-Dame Cathedral of Paris! read more

We did the Stonehenge, Windsor castle, Bath and a pub lunch tour and had a wonderful time. Eva was a fantastic guide! We had so much fun. She gave tons of great advice and we look forward to coming back to enjoy some of the areas we stopped in further. Jermaine was a great driver. Smooth ride. I typically get horrible motion sickness when riding as a passenger so my husband and I were shocked that I survived! I do wish we could have spend a bit more time in each area but, the time allotted was typical for guided tours. Definitely a great choice to get better familiar with the areas. read more

Dear Stina Marie,…
It was a one-day tour to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Lacock, and Bath (in sequence). The Bus boarded from Victoria coach station, and they were very strict about timing. It was a double-decker bus with around 70 guests, and I would recommend sitting upstairs. First, we reached Windsor Castle. It was a rainy day. The bus parked near Windsor shopping center, and Tony guided us to Windsor Castle. We waited outside for over an hour until the Windsor Castle was open for entry. After that, he was there till the ticket room, and from there, we were on our own. And they only gave us 90 minutes to cover Windsor Castle. Ofcourse it wasn't enough and we hardly covered the castle. Also, we could not cover the chapel (where the last Queen Elizabeth was buried). I was so frustrated. This was the only downside of the tour. When I talked to the tour guide, he mentioned that 'Sanjay, this is the highlight, and that's how we'll be able to show you 4 places in one day, and some are 150-200 km away from each other'. Sound logical? Not sure, so folks, it's on us. if you want to cover at your own pace, the tour is not for you. And in front of us, he left 2 guests cause they did not arrive on time. Felt so sorry for them. Next stop - Stonehenge. While we were on the way, Tony handed over the lunch menu. And asked us to choose one food item and any beverages. It will be ready when we reach Lacock (you can't expect 65 guests to enter and get food in 40 minutes). Stonehenge was good, though it was raining and gust winds slapping across the face, but it was not rushed, and thank god for that. I enjoyed Stonehenge and clicked some good pictures. Next stop- Lacock. There are a couple of locations where the Harry Potter movie was shot, but the village itself was very beautiful. Then we had our very late lunch around 3 pm at the Geroge Inn. We chose fish & chips and a chicken burger- nothing extraordinary but the beer was really good. This pub has been running since 1361. Wow... The last stop was Bath City. Such a beautiful city with historical buildings and an abbey. I realized one can easily spend 2 days here, and 2 hrs was not at all sufficient for this. Later, it was a 2- 2.5 hrs drive to London, and they did not leave us at Victoria Coach station. They left on the way, near the major tube station. Seems some folks did not like it, but it was well communicated before the tour started. We had a great tour guide (Tony, if I remember correctly). Overall, I would rate it 4/5 because of the tour guide who constantly entertained us with his witty humor and useful information about every spot we stopped. read more

We took the Windsor, Stonehenge, Bath and Lacock tour with Premium Tours and it was a wonderful experience! Please note: the pickup spot is INSIDE the Victoria Coach Station in London, not on the street. They picked us up at Gate 19 within the station. Our guide Rowan was amazingly bubbly and entertaining. She kept us engaged every time she was on the mic. And our driver Germain was silky smooth behind the wheel. The ride as so comfortable that we easily slept on the bus multiple times in between stops. Windsor was a great town. The king's residence right in the middle of a picturesque charming English town. Amazing! Lots of cute shops and tons of places to eat. The castle is a sight to behold and imposing in size and stature. The river Thames just right next tot he town and the city of Eton is just one short pedestrian bridge away. You will only have 1.5 hours to explore each stop so choose your sights carefully! It's usually enough time though so no complaints. Stonehenge was one for the memory banks. It was breathtaking in person and worth every minute getting close to the stones and walking around it. What a wonder of ancient engineering and astronomy! Download the free audio tour on your phone before taking the shuttle out to the henge! Bath was jaw-droppingly beautiful. Words cannot describe how amazing that town was. You just have to see it in person. If you're a Bridgeton or Downton Abbey fan you'll find a lot of spots the shows were filmed at. And finally Lacock was a charming tiny little English village with a pub that's serves excellent food. They also feature some amazing spirits so definitely try some out. We had an amazing time on this bus tour. Thanks again to Rowan and Germain. You did amazing! read more

Prior to booking, I called in advance to ask if the coach/bus had USB and wifi and was told yes. When we got on the bus we found out they had neither. We were expecting this to be able to charge our phones for pictures and videos but as a result had to limit our pictures and videos to conserve batteries. We were lied to and this already started off on a bad start. I've since contacted the company, but they have not responded. We read reviews that the tour was rushed, but expected that since we were visiting so many places in one day. We were ok with this. We also both thought the food was not good, opting for the fish and chips. Being very hungry we opted to eat it anyway. Usually when you're very hungry, you think the food is better than it really is, so I could only imagine how it would have been if we weren't that hungry. Our tour guide and driver were good but the overall experience was not good due to being lied to before the trip even started and the lack of response from the company. read more

The Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, and Bath with Pub Lunch in Lacock with Premium Tours was so great! We did so much this day and learnt so much. Annamaria was so informative and talked about what we passed by on the bus, what we should expect during the day, and talked about the history of the places we went. She was very organized and made sure we knew where the coach bus would be waiting and were on time to return to the bus. The tour departed at Victoria Coach Station Gate 19 at 8:00am and concluded near Gloucester Road underground station at approximately 8:30pm. We were on a double decker bus and we had 70 people on our tour. The bus was comfortable. First stop was Windsor Castle. Unfortunately, Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays & Wednesdays so we just explored the outside and the town. There were many shops to explore. We spent about 2 hours here. The next stop was Stonehenge. This is the most famous prehistoric monument in the world and now a world heritage site. From the coach parking lot, we have to take a shuttle to the Stonehenge and we walked around all angles to view the Stonehenge. The shuttle was very quick and came frequently. On the bus, we were provided with 4 options to choose for lunch (fish & chips, burger, cheese plate, and pasta). We had to inform our tour guide which option we wanted and if we wanted a drink so the pub could have the food and drink ready for us. I ordered the fish & chips and sweet cider. The food was good and filling. Lunch was at 3:00pm in a 14th century pub in Lacock. Our tour guide also showed us the house that was used as Harry Potter's childhood home in the movies in Lacock. The last stop was Bath. Bath is another world heritage site. Due to traffic and things that could come up, we were informed in the beginning of the day to not book the Roman Baths ticket yet because there could be a chance it'll be too late. Thankfully, we were able to secure tickets to the Roman Baths and make it. This was such a cool place to visit. I wish we had a little more time to explore it, but we did see everything. I liked how Annamaria would get off the bus with us to show us around first and then give us free time. It helped that she reinforced what time and how to return to the coach bus and recommended some places for us to check out. On our way back to London, we stopped 10 minutes at a rest stop so people can use the toilets if needed. Annamaria was very thoughtful and took the time to speak to each group to ensure everyone knew how to get to where they were going next and if anyone needed recommendations. Chris was a great and safe driver. We booked this tour through Viator and there were no issues. This tour is a long day, but you get to learn and see so much. If you have time to take this tour, I would recommend it. read more

Ava the tour guide was knowledgeable, funny, entertaing and had lots of random a informative information about our surroundings, not only in the Cotswolds but on our way there. The bus drive Neil was very competent and knowledge about the roads, a main road to one of our destination was closed he went around and found another route. Two things keep me from 5 star rating...the bus had no charging ports and the lunch at the Swan Inn was no way worth £26. read more

Let me sum up our experience in two words "NEVER AGAIN" We took a double decker coach which held about 90 folks and one tour guide. 90 folks crowded around one guide who really didn't show any concern whether or not folks could hear him. I'll skip the Oxford experience as it was the Downton experience we, and pretty much all the bus, were Americans interested in Downton Abbey. I'm not really sure the guide watched Downton Abbey much but it was clear he wasn't a very knowledgeable guide. One instance, in Brampton, we asked if the wall and park leading to the church was used in filming the town park scenes. He said no, they were filmed elsewhere. It looked so familiar we asked the sales folks selling memorabilia in the library the same question and got an answer covering the many scenes ... with example photos in the memorabilia they were selling. Our feeling is he probably knew enough to get his tour guide license but just didn't exhibit the passion about his trade. We expected more. We wound up searching Google for sites and scenes filmed at Highclere Castle - like the cricket game was filmed on the grounds. More info from the web than from a $175 tour Not a tour issue, but Highclere appeared more interested in presenting house memorabilia than Downton Abbey. No pictures allowed inside the castle. We must have missed that tidbit in the literature leading up to the visit. We took a tour of Ted Lasso in Richmond the next day and we're blown away on the knowledge, energy and accommodation of that tour guide. So Premium Tours? NEVER AGAIN read more

Date of tours: August 2022 We did THREE Premium Tours on our London trip: Highclere Castle, Harry Potter Studio Tour, and the Paris tour where you ate lunch in the Eiffel Tower. I would recommend all of them, but they are very different experiences. The Highclere Castle trip was my favorite. It wasn't rushed but it was a very full day! The tour guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. It was by far the best planned trip. The Harry Potter Studio tour isn't much in comparison. It was a ride to and from the studios and provided tickets to the attraction, which is what was advertised. The Paris tour does succeed in getting the highlights of the city in one day, but it was extremely rushed, which may not be able to be avoided considering the time restraint. Overall, I had no issues with this company and would recommend using their services. It made getting places from London a total breeze. read more

The tour itself was good and my son enjoyed the vintage double decker bus quite a bit! We took the options with the London Eye and when dropped off at the location, there was no indication the bus would be moving on. When we found this out and it would be taking tour stroller with them, we circled back to get it with another driver. However, rather than communicating to wait the few minutes, the driver drove off with our stroller. They placed in Victoria station room which closed at 6:30pm. So we had to cab there and back to miss our reservation for later event. When I explained the situation and asked for money back, I was denied and told I was "fortunate" they didn't dump it in coach yard further away! There are a lot of choices of tours and premium tours shows an indifference to helping their customers. So I recommend finding another company to choose read more

One thing I regret is that we should have taken this tour at the very start instead of the end of our London vacation coz Nicholas had very heartfelt tips for a great London experience. read more

We took a tour last week from London to Windsor Castle, Stone Henge and Bath. Our tour guide, ZsoZso (sp?), and our driver, Ricardo, were fantastic! We heard lots of interesting history and anecdotes related to each of our stops and many other points of interest that we passed along the way. It's a great tour if your time is limited and you want to hit all these places during your visit, but be aware that the distance traveled demands a strict schedule with limited time at each stop. Overall I highly recommend this company and this tour! read more

I did the Cotswold tour and the guide Eva, and driver Sunny were great. Eva was very entertaining and informative, and it was very healing to go away from London from a day, and see the countryside. read more
My your guide John (Rasmussen?) was absolutely wonderful. He was well informed, but also very human. He told us the pluses and minuses of different options, offered excellent tips for managing crowds and getting the best pictures of key places, while treatingbus like adults: when there were times to be on our own, he would tell us when and where we needed to be and everyone responded in kind. He is just generally a really pleasant fellow with a healthy dose of dry wit. I did the full day London tour, which includes a fair amount of walking (the cobble stones in areas like the Tower of London were not my friends; wear really durable shoes) and so is a bit taxing, but John made it a worthwhile. Money and a day well spent. read more

Was mixed up on arrival date and missed the Harry Potter tour by a day after paying $379.13 dollars. I booked through trip advisor. They were the middle man. They sent the money on to Premium Tours. Premium Tours was not sympathetic and did not credit, or give any options for a rebook. I realize this was my fault about the day, but do not understand why they would not help with crediting toward another day. This is a large amount of money to loose. Maybe they could at least send a thank you note for our "gift"? They have the money, and did not use it for Harry Potter (see attachments, they did not show me proof that they used our money to pay for tickets. Meaning, they profited from our booking but £249 pounds or $289.71 by not having to buy our tickets. I wish the best for folks who book using your company, and I hope you read my review and consider the risks. read more

Good Value Went with Premium Tours for a 1/2 day to Stonehenge from London (didn't have time for a whole day for bus travel) . No surprises. They delivered exactly what they promised and for the money, very reasonable. (compare around). Driving was safe. Seats comfortable. Seat belts enforced. The fee included the entrance to the exhibit which alone is about 22 pounds. I paid about 65 pounds in total for the SH experience which involved a 2 hour drive to and from London. Glad it didn't pass it up on my trip! read more

Beware! Terrible company, but great tour guide. I wish I had read other reviews before purchasing. Watch out for Premium Tours. They are interested in your money, but not your safety. If there are any problems, they will not help you. My family and I came down with COVID 3 days before our tour. I called the company to explain that we were actively symptomatic and didn't want to expose others on the tour bus. The customer service agent explained that Covid is no big deal (I am immunosuppressed, so it is a HUGE deal to me) and that they could not refund us. The best they could do was try to re-sell our tickets, but she didn't have high hopes. They would contact us if the tickets sold and we were off the hook. otherwise, we would have to pay the full cost. The tour cost us $900, so we decided to go wearing masks. When we arrived, the bus was packed with ~56 people (every seat taken but one) and a family had bought their tickets the night before. So our tickets HAD been re-sold, but no one contacted us. Instead, they got double the money. The bus was packed and did not have openable windows. My daughter, who had not had symptoms before, had a fever by the time we got to Bath. We should not have been on that bus exposing others, but really felt we had no recourse. We would have even taken a partial refund, but Premium Tours offered nothing at all. This was the private Stonehenge, Lacock, and Bath morning tour. The company(Premium Tours) is awful, but with all that said, our guide and driver (Ava and Jermaine) were great. Ava was kind and humorous and very knowledgeable. Jermaine was a very safe and skilled driver. The access inside Stonehenge was wonderful. The rest of the stops were rushed, but we enjoyed them. Be aware that this is a big group tour, nearly 60 people is a tour focused on selling lots of tickets, not on individual safety or enjoyment. Even though we arrived 15 minutes early, most seats on the bus were already taken and our family of 4 was not able to sit together. We had to be separated from our daughters which was not OK. We rearranged with another kind passenger, but another was not willing to move and so we had to sit in 2 separate groups. the guide and driver should organize so that groups are together. If you are interested in walking amongst the stones at Stonehenge, I would look for another tour(and company) that only focuses on that instead of combining it with other places. The stones were wonderful and so cool to see up close, but the rest felt like rushed filler. read more

The tour guide called me to tell me they would not wait TWO MINUTES because our bus got delayed. The booking says to arrive at 815 and wait for tour number 12 to be called. It did not say LAST CALL IS AT 815. They refused to give me a refund. I don't know why I had to pay for lunches we didn't eat. I know they didn't have to pay for extra lunches for people who weren't there, so why couldn't they at least give me a partial refund? I also know that the buses aren't full because they tried to book me on another one the following day (my family would no longer be in the country and we could not). There's no reason they couldn't refund my money after they left us behind. We were already pulling up to the station and they wouldn't wait. This is a scam. Absolutely horrible company. Do not book. Terrible customer service. Their booking was not clear. This is a tourist trap. Do not fall for it. read more

DO NOT BOOK WITH PREMIUM TOURS. Booked Stonehenge direct. Driver was not safe. Driving erratically, dangerous and almost killed us. He was either sleepy, drunk or a diabetic. Entire bus demanded a new driver - which they finally agreed too. The 6 hour tour turned into 10 hours missing our other events. Still fighting for refund. These are the most unprofessional people I've met. And I am a regular traveler. We did the Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath trip with them but never got to see Stonehenge or Bath. AND they did not refund our money (150 pounds per head) which is practically stealing. There were 3 large coaches for the same tour. Packed so I am guessing 75+ people per bus. The tour guide had told us which way to go (go to Eton Station + Royal Shopping Mall but did not tell us that there was another Eton station (Eton + Riverside) for the Central Rail. Note for future travellers: the Eton station near the Royal Shopping Mall is a museum, not an actual station. We did the tour of Windsor castle (were only given an hour) and asked to meet at the coach station ar 11.40am. We came out of the Windsor castle (exit gate was round the corner from the entrance) and asked a couple locals where the Eton station was, not knowing that the Eton station the tour guide referred to was the museum not the station. One local took us to the actual functioning Eton station (at Riverside). We realized the coach station wasn't there and called them at 11.39 am. I know its late but we didnt know where we were and were hoping that the tour guide would direct us to the right location and hold the bus a few mins only if we got her on a call. We called and were directed to the agency, NOT the tour guide. If you're tired of reading, this is only the beginning of the horrific experience. The agents were rude and did not seem to understand where we were. They kept asking us to look for the clock tower which wasn't there. I asked them if I should go back towards the Main Street where McDonalds was and they misunderstood this thinking we are AT McDonalds. I asked for a different agent and by the time the other nicer agent took us to our bus it was 11.59am and the bus had long gone. They said, "sorry we cannot refund you any money because you were accountable to be on time". And "Perhaps, you can uber it to Stonehenge and try to catch up with the bus?!". I said that wasn't an option so they said "Well, you can spend the day in Windsor then and take the train back". The train, that wasn't running due to strikes. Eventually they offered to take us back to London in the "coach for the leftovers". (People who had been left back - so that tells you something). Also, their tone also seems very nonchalant, dont you think? We had left our bags with our money, phone chargers, and other personal items in the bus. They said we had to wait at the Kensington Gloucester station till 8.30pm to collect it. They could ship it to us but that was 120 pounds in shipment fees. You can imagine at this point how my emotional state was. So of course, our conversation got heated. I called them a liar and unprofessional and they then said "you are being really rude and so we will hang up now". And hang up they did. I never got back my money from them. Others need to know: go at your own risk and make sure you only tour a place for a few mins before you gotta run back to the bus!! They wont call you but leave you stranded with your belongings gone. read more
Me and my husband took the Premium Tours to Stonehenge with all afternoon in Bath. We purchased the groupon deal and I definitely thought that made it a good value. It seems like they always have the deal on groupon, so do yourself a favor and check, it is well worth it! This is a typical double decker bus tour. There were two buses as part of our group. I was a bit disappointed that there was no toilet on our bus. Not that I love having to use a toilet on a bus, but it is nice to have the insurance when you spend a couple hours on it at a time. Karen was our tour guide and Andre was our bus driver. Both were fantastic! Karen gave commentary about London, Stonehenge, Bath and other British things and she was really enjoyable. I wish there was more time in Stonehenge. The time we had was adequate, and may have been good for some, but I wanted to listen to everything on the audio guide, and read everything and take it in. We didn't end up having any time at the visitors center because we spent so much time at the stones themselves, so can't speak to that. I really enjoyed Bath as well. We toured the Roman baths and also enjoyed that. This was an on our own sort of thing. Karen offered to lead a group up to check out the royal circus but we were still in the Bath when that started so we did our own thing. Overall I would definitely recommend this tour. Yes I would have liked to have more time in Stonehenge, but being in London with no car this was the perfect way to see everything. read more

Left behind. I was slower than everyone, the guide counted us at the stops and I was always last to arrive. I stopped momentarily during the tour to tie my shoe. Lost the group. There was no finding them. Just gone. I feel like the guide didn't really care about someone slower. I ended up pretty lost and unsure as I was solo (first time in London)!! Just be sensitive to those not as fast as you. It was frustrating and I missed out on over half the tour. read more

My husband and I used this company on our recent trip to London for a day tour to Windsor, Stonehenge, and Bath. A friend of ours had been to London just a month or so before us and used this company for this tour and recommended it. My sister in law did the same tour, she thinks it was with premium tours, but it was 3 years ago so she couldn't be sure. So on the recommendation of our friend George we chose this tour. I would have liked a smaller tour group than this one, but the smaller tours either were not available or did not go to all 3 stops. The tour held I would guess about 50-60 people. It was a double decker coach, where the upstairs was full length and the bottom had about 1/2 as many seats. My husband and I sat upstairs which had a great view, but by the end of the day it was difficult to get up the stairs. LOL. Our tour guide was excellent. She was super informative and worked with me to make accommodations on the lunch stop since I could not eat anything on the preset menu. My problem with the tour and the reason I can't give it 4 or 5 stars is because of the Windsor Castle stop. I was super excited to go to Windsor. We arrived before 9am, but the castle didn't open until 10, so we stood in line for an hour. By the time we got our tickets, headsets, and went through security it was 10:23. That gave me 37 minutes to tour Windsor Castle! In NO WAY is that enough time to tour Windsor Castle. My husband and I went to the Chapel first. That was pretty cool. George the V and George the VI are buried there. Henry the VIII too! My husband didn't go in the castle at all because they said we had to be out by 11am when the changing of the guard started or we might get stuck and be unable to get out. The bus was leaving at 11:30 and our tour guide promised they WOULD leave without us. There was no way I wasn't going in the castle. Our tour guide had said we would have enough time if we didn't listen to every recording. She LIED! I listened to the recording in 2 rooms and quickly realized I had no time. Unfortunately, once you are in it is difficult to get out without walking through all of the state rooms. I RAN through all the state rooms and then RAN down the hill. No joke I was the last person out of the gates before they closed them for the changing of the guards. I got to see all the state rooms, but I spent no more than 20 seconds in each. Reflecting back I wish I had continued to tour the state rooms and left after the changing of the guards at 11:30. An experience later in the tour tells me they probably wouldn't have left me as they said they would and I wouldn't have been even 5 minutes late. I would have actually seen the state rooms. As it stands I told my husband I MUST return to Windsor Castle on my next visit to the UK. I wouldn't count my visit as a visit. I just saw the chapel. Because we had to get out before the changing of the guard we had 25 minutes which enabled us to find a restroom (none on the bus) and a snack (necessary since lunch was served at 3:15). Our next stop was Stonehenge. We had a little over an hour there which was perfect. I'm glad I saw it. I don't need to go back. I marked it off my bucket list and got a t-shirt. Then we went to "lunch" in Lacock. The village was super cute. Our tour guide and the restaurant were accomodating with an alternative meal choice for me and the food was fine, but 3:15 is very late for lunch, so I'm thankful that we had a chance to get a snack at Windsor and that I brought snacks on the bus. From there we went to Bath. It was dark when we got there. Our tour guide gave a small tour around town, but 1/2 the group quickly lost her in the crowd of the Christmas market. The Christmas Market was cool, but it kind of sucked that it was dark when we got there. The benefit of summer is that it wouldn't be dark. The benefit of when we went was the Christmas market. So here's my second problem with the tour. We were told to be back at a certain time. We waited an extra 25 minutes for someone who was late. When she didn't answer her phone and didn't show up we left without her. 20 minutes later, she called and we had to turn around. Thus we lost over an hour because of this one person, yet we were chastised that we better get out of Windsor before the changing of the guard because it ends at 11:30 and the bus leaves promptly at 11:30. So this was supposed to be an 11-12 hour day. It was over a 14 hour day by the time we returned to London. I'm still glad we did it, but I've got to return to Windsor. read more

We took a tour to Stonehenge. The driver got lost twice getting us there so got there late. Initially he said we will leave Stonehenge back to London at 1 pm, but then as he realized he got us there late, he changed it to 1:30 pm. However when we came back to the bus stop BEFORE 1:30 it had already left. He left 12 of us passengers stranded in Stonehenge. The company refused to send a shuttle to pick us up and suggested we use our own money to take the train back to London (and hope for reimbursement later). They supposedly called our bus and he never picked up. After a lot of discussion over the phone, they agreed for us to take another one of their shuttle buses that was there all the way to Bath and then back to London. I got home at 9 pm (versus original plan of 3 pm). The silver lining is that we got to see Bath for 45 minutes, just enough time to get an ice cream. But overall this was a very stressful experience and we missed spending our last evening in London as we had hoped, and instead be stuck in a shuttle for hours and hours. Will never use this company again. read more

I really can't complain about Premium Tours. They seemed to have handled everything that they could with stride. There are just some things that you cannot control. I had booked a Paris day trip prior to my arrival in London. I figured why not since my next chance to do this would be far in the future. I can concur, like others have stated, that there can be some confusion as to the meeting place. Reading my voucher for the trip beforehand on multiple occasions it is really unclear as to the meeting place. I went to where the voucher said and had to be redirected to the nearby cafe at the station. Once there, there are two different trips being organized, so I wasn't sure if I was in the correct location or not, that is until I reached the table and lucky for me, I was at the right place. After all that, things went smoothly. The guides were very helpful the rest of the trip. Advising the group of our itinerary, even when we had a few hiccups. They even guided us through customs and advised us of the ins and outs of what we can and can't do. Our first hiccup came on the train, as it was delayed en route to Paris (there will be more on that in another review). We were to have extra time for free time when we arrived in Paris, but because of the delay, that got cut. A huge hiccup here is that I was unaware that museums in Paris are not open on Tuesdays, so when we went to the Louvre we didn't go into the museum part of the complex. A disappointment, yes; could it have been avoided, definitely. Suggestion time, but a disclaimer for people to know this. I would have gone the next day if I had known that. The trip included a river cruise on the Seine which gave a unique vantage point to some notable landmarks in Paris. It was a nice relaxing time, but I would have liked it if there was more information given as we passed the notable places. That was followed by a trip and lunch at the Eiffel Tower. Since it was a planned tour, we had very little wait to get into the Tower and restaurant. The tour from the bus was informative and kept me intrigued. No matter what I did, I always ended up on the wrong side of the bus. What we did experience at the Louvre was no more than the tourist-eye-in-the-sky perspective from outside. Not being able to actually get inside the museum part left me a bit sour. But you live, you learn. Our free time consisted of a small window for us to venture outside to do a bit of shopping, small sightseeing, and basically just wondering around. The trip back to London was a breeze and if I didn't mention how awesome it was to go through the Chunnel, well here I am to tell you how awesome it was. Definitely a unique and different experience for me to have the chance to do. read more

DO NOT EVER book an experience with Premium Tours - London Tours. We paid $400+ for a "luxury" day tour of Paris, but were ABANDONED at the Eiffel Tower by our guide after lunch because there wasn't enough time for everyone on the tour to get down on the lift. When I requested a partial refund because we missed most of the experience, the brand manager made excuses and blamed me and my traveling companions for not getting to the meeting point on time. We were told to pay for a taxi to get to the train station. This is a compact hat does not understand customer service, and is not willing to take responsibility for the clients in their care. read more

This is a review for the Stonehenge and Bath day trip from London. If you're the type of person who likes to take your time at a new location - maybe taking in an audio tour, or leisurely going through exhibits - this tour is not for you. When I booked, I liked that we'd be hitting the two spots that were the most interesting for us - Stonehenge and Bath. What I didn't realize - and what was either not mentioned, or was mentioned in such a way that I missed it every time I checked the site - is that you don't really get much time in either place to appreciate what you're there to see. But, I'm getting ahead of myself. The day starts off with a bus coming to your designated meeting spot (the hotel at which you're staying) for an early-morning pick-up. That's nice, as it saves you the hassle of having to navigate the city. But, the bus that picks you up is not the bus that takes you on your tour (I don't know if I'm the only one to assume that it would be). Instead, they drop you off outside Victoria bus station with half-formed instructions on how to find the bus you need to be on. And Victoria bus station? It's a madhouse. Most of the people there for tours were lost the second they found the range of gates mentioned by the first bus driver. Plus, you're battling with the people that are actually at the station to get to a different destination. The announcements, when they finally came, were done by a man without a microphone, which was a bad idea. People were pressing forward to hear what he was saying, and even then, it was hit or miss. Once they called our group, they had us line up before heading out into the garage to load the bus. But, after we lined up, there was a long delay. We heard one of the employees remark that the bus was full, so they were scrambling to get a second bus to place those of us that were left standing about. One finally did arrive (a double-decker), and we were shortly on our way. Our guide that day was Nick, and he was good, though I'm not entirely sure he was 100% confident in our driver. He had the mic open when I heard him asking the driver if he was new, and then a few more times throughout the trip, when he questioned the decisions the driver was making, as far as directions went. To add to that, I noticed several times when the driver blew through some red lights, blocked crosswalks, and more than once, he was honked at by drivers that he had cut off. One guy even honked his horn for a continuous minute or two, just to make sure he got his point across. Once we got to Stonehenge, Nick told us that we'd have less than an hour there. That was barely enough time to walk to the Visitor's Center, grab a shuttle to the stones, walk to the stones, and get a shuttle back! We definitely did not have enough time to view the exhibits at the center, or take the audio tour. Before we knew it, we were back on the bus, heading towards Bath. On the way there, Nick informed us that we had timed tickets for entrance to the baths, which again was not mentioned on the site. It wasn't such a big deal, but it would have been nice to know before-hand, to better plan our afternoon. We had about three hours in bath, which was significantly better than Stonehenge, but still kind of a crunch, given how crowded the city was. I will say that Nick did an excellent job of keeping us informed at each stop - ensuring we knew what time to be back, letting us know where to find the shuttle, giving us a bit of history about each place as we went. I appreciated all that immensely. While we did enjoy the trip, and are glad that we were able to see Stonehenge and a bit of the baths, I think I would have preferred a bit more time at each location. So again - if you just want a glimpse of each place - enough to say you've been there - this is your tour. But, if you want to be able to take your time, you might want to consider other options. read more
My boyfriend and I booked a Stonehenge and Bath tour through a Groupon deal. For the price, it was well worth it.i would check Groupon for a deal in case another one pops up. Their tours are your typical double decker tours, but with a great tour guide who was both funny and educational. The information he shared on London, Stonehenge and Bath was informative and interesting. I learned a lot more about these cities/places, more than I would've if I had gone on my own. A week before the tour, I confirmed the gate at Victoria Station. If you are in a big group, or if you have a specific seat you'd want to get, I'd recommend you to get in line at the door of the gate. Even if there isn't a line, once the tour guide calls you all, the line will form instantly and you'll want to be be near the front. Overall, the tour was run really well. You are given an allotted time to spend at each area (which I thought was a reasonable amount), and if you don't meet back at the communicated time, you're out of luck. When we were at the Stonehenge, it was 10 after and one person has not returned to the bus yet. As our driver pulled out of the parking lot, he drove slowly in hopes of seeing someone running towards our bus but unfortunately we had to move on. Even with the rule, they still made an effort to wait to to an extent. If Stonehenge and Bath is on your list of places to see and you don't mind large tour groups, I'd recommend Premium Tours. It is reliable, informational and affordable. Just make sure you come back by the time your tour guide says to be respectful to the guide/driver and the rest of the tourists. PS - if you're wondering what's good to eat in Bath, check out my other reviews. read more
We took the incredible inner circle tour at sunset. The exclusive right to walk within the circle was amazing! Our guide ,Peter, and driver,James, were jovial and knowledgeable. We stopped at Bath which was historic and beautiful. The Roman bath was very interesting and there were nice shops and cafes and a lovely abbey. The lunch in medieval Lacock was quite good. I would repeat this experience in a heartbeat. read more

I'd have given them 3 stars if they'd have been more sincere when responding to our group's complaints. We booked directly with them paying full price. Their big claim was the wifi on the bus as a differentiating point from other tour companies. Since our time was limited between business events and leisure activities this idea hit us favorably. We booked the shortened tour to Stonehenge. When we got on the bus the driver told us, "the wifi is broken, it hasn't worked in a while." Then when other people asked he started sharing the network name and pw, which no one could find, and then later said, it must still be broken...We got over it and enjoyed our trip to Stonehenge. The bus was scheduled to depart at 3:15. One of our group members was elderly and had an injury so she was a slow walker. At about 3:05 the driver said, everyone is here except one person. And then closed the door. I told him my aunt was walking back from the bathroom, and asked if he was driving closer to be nice to pick her up (since the door was closed and the bus was moving) He said no, we are leaving her, everyone else is here. I had to argue, jump off the bus and ask our other travel partner to beg the driver to wait until the original departure time of 3:15. I ran to help her walk to the bus so she could walk a little faster and more stable. The bus did wait, and it departed at 3:14, when she was on it. My issues were as follows- 1. they sold me on internet access to book a tour at full price, not through one of their partner agents because they had internet available. This was their differentiating factor from other tours, added value. That service did not work. 2. The driver attempted to depart from the tour ten minutes early though he was informed that an elderly guest was in the bathroom, and she still had 10 minutes until our scheduled departure. Had I not asserted that this was not good, and that he should not leave an elderly woman from a foreign country in the middle of nowhere 10 minutes early, we could have experienced a major situation. 3. After we got on, the driver was rude and frustrated with us, though we still left exactly at the scheduled departure time of 3:15. 4. They were flippant in their responses and did not seem to care that we had issues, almost as if we had made them up. This frustrated us even more. I spent a lot of money on our group's tickets. Beware if you are not at the bus 15 minutes before the departure time, because they will leave without you, even if they leave early. Departure time is when the driver wants to leave, not when the bus is scheduled to leave. Their wifi does not work, and the response from the company was that we should have asked the driver for the id and pw. We did explain that we had attempted and other people had attempted but was told it was broken. We had some discussion with the company via email but did not get a response that pleased us. It appeared very short, direct and impolite. We also had discussion with the company regarding the situation with the driver. We were told that he would be talked to after the weekend tours were complete. (note our tour was friday, hopefully no one else was left behind at the site before he was "talked to" by management) I felt as if the company assumed we were lying or making the situation up. That is not the case. Our entire family works in the hospitality business and rarely do we complain unless it is serious and knowing the challenges will benefit the business owners. (we always want to know from our clients if they're unhappy and we can improve). I can only be thankful that I was assertive enough to argue with the driver or the situation of abandoning an elderly woman prior to departure could have been significant and scary. The company offered us 15% off, but we are still awaiting that credit a week later. I would recommend Stonehenge, I would not recommend this tour company. read more

We actually ended up doing two tours with Premium. We did the half day Stonehenge tour and our driver Richard was excellent. We also did the Leeds Castle, Canterbury and Dover tour. Our guide Richard was the best. A few days separated the tours. Incidentally we had the same driver Richard again. Both Richards were so helpful and courteous. Very informative. Would highly recommend these tours and this company. read more

AVOID!! That's the best advice I can give... Profits clearly mean more to this company than customers returning, their response to complaint was quite frankly rude, offensive and dismissive. Left feeling DISGUSTED, DISAPPOINTED and ROBBED..... read more
