I only recently realized that we never actually left him a review, so I wanted to correct that. Bill was originally recommended to us as one of the best inspectors in the Berkshires, particularly for older houses, and our experience with him very much reflected that. He inspected all four houses for us and clearly had a great deal of experience with historic properties and the various kinds of issues that come with them. The whole process was seamless, and his report was thorough and detailed. During the inspection itself, Bill managed to explain what mattered without overwhelming us with technical information. We recorded much of the inspection and have actually referred back to it during renovations. Several things he pointed out ended up being useful later and helped us avoid multiple unnecessary expenses. We've worked with a fairly large number of home inspectors over the years, both in Massachusetts and elsewhere, and Bill is someone we've been very comfortable recommending. If you're buying a Victorian house in the Berkshires, his experience with these properties is particularly valuable.
