Customer service and professionalism was lacking when it came to the cancellation process. I was met with petty emails bullying me about my unwillingness to pay cancellation fees when there were none clearly listed in my contract nor did I have clear instructions on how to pay these fees. When I was directed to pay the cancellation fees on the Realty 85 website, the website didn't even work. Once I had an account reset and was able to log into my account I didn't even have charges listed in my account. After finally making my cancellation payment, my realtor sent me an email with the words "I am a true believer in Karma and I'm not going to beg for payment."

We had an outstanding experience using Sharri as our realtor. We had an unusual situation in that…read moreour investment property was occupied and we didn't want to ask our tenant to leave during a pandemic in order to fix up and sell the condo. We had resigned ourselves to the idea of waiting a year to sell the property and possibly missing out on the housing boom. Sharri understood our goals and did a lot of research, talking to multiple buyers and sellers in similar situations, and devised a plan to specifically market the property to investors, allowing our tenants to remain in their home. She was very thorough and proactive in gathering all the necessary information to effectively market the property and attract a very specific kind of buyer. She listed the property on a Friday and we had multiple offers by Sunday. The sale closed in under a month, with no hassle or undue effort on our part. To say that we were delighted with Sharri's service would be a huge understatement!

She went above and beyond at every level to make sure I was protected and to make sure all went as smoothly as possible. She has become a personal friend throughout the process. Sharri will always be the one I go to if I ever decide to sell or buy a home again. I valued her professionalism, knowledge, patience and kindness. Not only is Sharri an excellent Real Estate Agent, she is also an amazing person! I would highly recommend working with her.

I had an ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with Beth Jo and her staff…read more It started with a low ball appraisal from an appraiser that they selected, which had very poor reviews (Joseph's Appraisal Group - read their reviews), which I attributed to just wanting a quick sale at my expense. I was allowed to order a separate appraisal, and when it came back almost $50K higher, they would not recognize it, even though they said I could obtain another appraisal if I wanted to pay for it. When I got their appraisal, I discovered that my Ex Wife had trashed the condo, ripped out carpet and flooring, ceiling tiles, electrical outlets, etc., in order to get the price down so that she could purchase cheap. She also let her son move in with his German Shepard. When I asked that Beth Jo bring the issues to the Judge for resolution, she stated "We do not have the authority to instruct either party to make repairs or for the cost of those repairs to be deducted from one parties sale proceeds", and "Our current order does not provide for the removal of any occupants/pets from the property. Ms. xxxxxxx can you provide the reason for the two declined showings? Should future showings get declined and/or the property not be maintained and clean for all showings, we will bring this matter before the court for further direction" So, in her role as Real Estate Commissioner assigned by the Court to resolve issues, she did nothing to resolve the issues that she was hired to resolve. In addition, the low ball appraisal that she obtained failed to include recent sales with higher values, and when I asked her associate Joey Hasselbring to make sure that the next appraisal included those, his response was "The appraiser will use the comparable properties they see fit". Beth Jo and her staff did nothing to resolve the issues that they were hired to resolve, and in obtaining their low ball appraisal they helped my Ex Wife accomplish her objectives, so I don't see why she is allowed to retain the title of Real Estate Commissioner.

Josh handled selling our home and helping us find a new one in a short about of time. He was friendly and very knowledgeable about homes and the market. He was flexible with his schedule and went out of his way to show us over 20 homes and even sent Shane to help show one with super short notice on our part. He sold our home with multiple offers in less than 10 days! Josh knows homes and construction so he was ready to answer questions we had about updates needed to the home verses the market value. It was good to get a read on the true value of the home and if the necessary updates were affordable and worth it. He was always on top of everything and quick to reply to us. He also went beyond his realtor responsibilities and has helped us post home buying to find local companies to help us roof, landscape, and find other various needs. I know he is always there and willing to answer any questions or concerns I have. It's good to have a realtor that I call friend! I didn't get to choose the title company because I was the seller in the transaction but if I could…read morehave selected the title company it would NOT have been this one! Quick background. I, owned my mother's home, but she held the mortgage. When she originally purchased the home, she held mortgage and title. She decided to quit claim the home to me to avoid a lengthy probate process after her death. She decided to leave the state of Arizona, so we sold the home. While working with Clear Title AZ I was told that my quit claim deed cannot be used to convey ownership of the home... EVEN THOUGH it was created by a lawyer and signed by my mother and witness by a notary public. I was told this less than 24 hours from my scheduled closing date! They needed an "affidavit" (in quotes because they would not tell me the actual name of the form or affidavit needed) completed and signed by mother as well as being notarized. She's in CA and I'm in AZ! The affidavit was received and closing went on, 8 days later! During the closing and the signing of the documents my husband (who is not an owner of the home) had to sign (ready for this?) a quit claim deed!! Yes! The exact type of document they said they do not recognize to convey the transfer of owner to a property (mine) is the same document they used for themselves!! I might add that they justified the "cannot use" by telling me it's because so much fraud exists lately with quit claim deeds! So much fraud that they cannot use my quit claim deed but will use their own quit claim deed??? REALLY, Clear Title AZ? Additionally, when I received this news, I, naturally, escalated through the management hierarchy. I got as high as the vice president of escrow administration, Brandi Kirby, and left her three voicemails, one email, and one instant message via the receptionist. I received no return phone call or email from her!! They delayed my closing by more than a week by not contacting me in plenty of time before the original closing date to correct this problem. This is why they are getting a one star rating.

At least that was what I was promised. But that did not happen. Problem #1: They said they forgot to "hit the button" to wire my funds. Which meant I would have to wait until Monday to get my proceeds. Selling your house might involve the largest amount of money you'll ever handle. So it's pretty disappointing when the lack of quality control means you have to sweat it out all weekend. Problem #2: Monday morning rolls around, they swear they've sent my funds first thing that morning. I stress out all day checking my account. NO FUNDS. Finally I get another phone call. "Oh so sorry. We transposed your account number so the wire was kicked back." We'll send it out tomorrow morning. Seriously?! Awesome quality control First Arizona Title. Unbelievable. Well we all understand how great businesses work. Mistakes happen, so when it's your fault, you own up to it and do all you can to make it right. Well nothing was offered so I asked. Is there anything you can do to compensate me for these delays, for your mistakes? Uh, no, we can't do that. Not some kind of discount or financial make-good, not a bottle of wine or champagne, not a Starbucks gift card, nada, zip, zilch. One star is really too high of a rating for these morons. Please Yelp, we need zero star ratings. First Arizona Title has earned it.

She was patient, insightful, honest, and a wealth of local market knowledge. I'd give her 5 stars all day!!! They also recommended Bob Waseiko @ Academy to broker my loan...Bob was amazing, I love this guy #mancrush #imstraight :-) Bob was so responsive, supportive, and creative I just can't applaud his efforts enough. He wasn't perfect, but he was there for me each step of the way. Cons: I didn't get to work with Donna start to finish. These folks have a weird set up where your agent, isn't your agent. One person shows you house, she goes away then someone else does paperwork, they go away then someone else comes in for negotiations, then their is field agents for inspections and walk through a, and then there is...well you get it. All in 4-6 different people to buy 1 house, apart from title company, lender etc. just not for me. Another con is the joker/lender the recommended at first. I talk to him, he says he'll email me, never does, I call, I email him, I email again, a week later when I call the Calloways for a replacement he finally calls me and says "oh I delegated that, did no one contact you" pfffft lol great lender, delegate me and a 900k loan to some lackey before we even start...um no. So in a nut shell, if you want a relationship with an Agent, these guys n gals aren't set up for you....just want to get a house sold in hurry, yeah I might call them. You probably won't feel like these folks are 'for' you...but they do know real estate. Update; just bumped them up two stars...3 days after close the A/C went out...Joe & JoAnn got involved and got the home warranty company to step in and resolve the issue.
