The employee at Maya was honest with me and said that it could not be fixed, and even if they tried, the glue would come apart after a couple weeks. This is because the seat back is compression glued. He said my only option is to go to Lexus and buy the piece, and then they can remove the old one and install it for me. When you meet Luis, you'll get the impression that he's a honest businessman and that proved to be true. Luis was responsive and always had answers to my questions, he always was open and explained why he was doing certain things. He responded whenever I messaged him. The shop did very good work on my car. It looks brand new now. They fixed a piece of siding, some window parts, my door and trunk latches, they painted parts and fix things on my behalf that I was not even expecting them to do. They finished earlier than I expected. They finished with an extremely good paint job with no problems or hiccups. They were cleaning parts of my car and my tires when I arrived. They asked me questions and provided me with exactly the services that I wanted. I am going to recommend Luis and his team to my friends and family and anyone else. I've been a repeat customer (almost on a yearly basis) since 2017. This time I brought in the Camry with some light scratch marks after grazing some plastic bollards. The paint job on my 6-year old car (that I consistently run through Soapy Joe's) still receives the occasional compliment for being shiny. For that, I have Tito and San Diego Auto Detail to thank.
