Not only very knowledgeable but so personable. I was there 3 months so had Matt and Ilana when Juan was on vacation and they were equally enjoyable. Everyone is so friendly that it encourages clients to interact. My recovery was amazing and I am pleasantly surprised by my strength and range of motion. The space is very comfortable and parking is no problem. I highly recommend making them your choice for PT. I was sad to leave but will probably go back with a back issue in a few months. And I can't wait to see everyone.

The previous review praised George but I'd give a shoutout for Matthew, very skilled and knowledgeable, and also to their assistants. So if you need a few weeks of PT for a medical condition, the care is top-notch. One warning: on my first visit I saw all the staff members look fashionable and the clients were well dressed, so I had to buy new outfits because my usual look of PJ bottoms and raggy T-shirts would be out of place there

We were treated with kindness, understanding and high quality care. The facility, itself, is warm and inviting, feels like a "bed and breakfast"! His every need was met. The nursing and assistant staff were all wonderful from Lexi, the administrator, Alex, an aide and Jazmin and Maita, Indal and Cosmos, our nurses who were skilled and very pleasant and attentive. The dining room staff was also excellent. The facility is very clean and inviting. The daily craft sessions were entertaining and much appreciated! All in all, it was a wonderful experience and it is tops on our list if ever needed again. Susi G

Both extremely thorough, telling me how / how not to move, sit/stand around the house, steps, car, etc. taught me how to move around to heal & avoid injury. Never questioned if I'm moving correctly because they covered everything. Gave me exercises to do on my own. After in-home PT moved to going to clinic. Had a choice where to go. Never a doubt I would continue with Optimum. Continued to receive excellent therapy at the clinic. Thank you Lauren & Snay for working with me...full recovery takes a bit, both showed me what I need to get that done.

(They seem so impersonal.) oPTtimum was the exact opposite. The level of care and expertise was unsurpassed! Everyone in the office was friendly and professional. From day 1 they all knew you by name and really listened as they treated you and created a plan for recovery. Scheduling appointments was easy, and effort was made to have you only work with no more than 2 therapists so that they really knew your case. The techs and assistants were just as professional and friendly. Hopefully I won't ever need PT in the future (who am I kidding as we all age). oPTimum will be my go to place and my referral for anyone who asks!

The therapist I had was talented and helping me, but she was consistently taking care of 2-3 other…read morepeople at the same time as my appointments. Sometimes I was pushed to another therapist at the end or midway through my appointment. The therapist must have a lot of data entry to do, as mine (and others) were constantly taking every available minute during my appointment on their laptops to enter data instead of watching or correcting what I or others were doing. The last straw was my therapist disappearing halfway through my appointment to work with someone else in another room. I was passed off to someone who never introduced themselves and I had never met. The substitute didn't have a modification to give me when I asked for one, told me to do my exercises differently than my original therapist. Too, too busy to give really personalized attention throughout the appointment. Each therapist handling multiple patients at the same time.

While my dad was getting his knee treated (which only took a couple of sessions and afterwards he…read moresaid the treated knee felt better than the other knee lol), I learned that Emily the owner also specializes in pelvic health. I did pelvic floor PT after giving birth and experienced how big a difference that made, so with some new issues that's bothering me for a while I decided to give it another try. It was the best thing I did for myself this year. Emily fixed the muscles that are not in good shape, helped me get into good stretching routines and suggested how to modify my home office set up to avoid the problem in the future (we thought the cause was bad sitting posture from working from home....). All that's to say with 2 months of work I'm in a good shape in a sustainable way and that makes me so happy. Emily has such a calm and warm manner, I always found my visits relaxing and recharging. Aaron at the front desk is very friendly and easy to work with. They also only have 3 therapists that don't work at the same time, so the facility was never so busy as some other PT facilities I've been to. Maybe the only thing to note is their hours vary from day to day (very friendly to working ppl). So if nobody answers the phone, maybe try a different time. Pelvic floor issues are so easily overlooked yet they impact the body so much. Everyone deserves a good pelvic floor therapist!

I have worked with 4 PT offices through the course of my injury, and Rush PT is by far the best. They truly listen to what your pain and needs are, individualize and progress your program as you see improvement, and help you structure safe workouts outside of the office. I have been dealing with chronic pain, sciatica, numbness, and tingling from a herniated disc and stenosis for over a year and a half, and I am finally making significant progress. The manual tissue massages and dry needling are incredibly helpful. I was on the verge of getting surgery, but now I am confident I don't need it. As a 23 year old, I finally have hope that my back pain can heal and remain healthy--all thanks to Rush Evanston PT!

He carefully assessed her injury, worked on her ankle, and gave her practical exercises along with game-time advice. What impressed me most was his honesty. After just two visits, Rob told us she didn't need to keep coming in, and instead gave her clear instructions to follow at home over the next few weeks. From past experiences, PT clinics often try to keep you going as long as possible, but Rob truly put my daughter's best interests first. Thanks to his care, she's back on the field feeling confident and strong. Highly recommend ATI Wilmette and especially Rob for anyone needing physical therapy!

Needed PT post hip replacement surgery. If you're not in 'pain' this is not the clinic for you…read more I was asked multiple times to rate my level of pain which was not a fit of me. I had lack of mobility and muscle weakness. (Not uncommon for hip surgery) I, also, have have been a Division 1 athlete & been probably 30 PTs over the years. All I can say is that i had an 11am initial appt. The PT was dry-needling someone else while attempting to manage my appt. The patient he was working on had their back side in full view of patients and street. I literally said it was not appropriate to have the conversation we were having while he was sticking needles in another patient & I was uncomfortable. His response was 'are you telling me how to do my job?" (I kid you not) At that point, I was out of there. While he tried to fire me-I was already on my way out. So-if your older & you want a PT that if 100% in control of your well being w/out questions, George is your guy. If you want someone who listens responsibly & partners w/you--he's not the guy.
