They take very good care of the animals and can answer just about any question you have about your pets. They have EVERYTHING you need - vaccines, food, habitats, treats, pet care products, I mean any and everything. Just to prove how compassionate they are about animals, I'll leave you with this story... We went there one night and the guys working were taking care of this little ragged looking kitten who was meowing in pain and bleeding. Well, some rotten person had shoved a kitten into the Critter Shop's old milk shoot in the back of the building and luckily a lady walking to the store heard him and alerted the staff. They took him inside, got him healthy again, and named him Keyboard because that's where he loves to sleep. They fattened him up, gave him a cute little collar, and gave him a home right in the shop and the cat is LOVING it. They've had him for about 3 years now and he is just the coolest cat ever. They could have easily just put the cat outside or gave it to a shelter, but they decided to get it healthy and give it a home and for that reason alone, I will always be a loyal customer!

I've seen them argue openly with customers while I wait in line and ask them to not come back numerous times even tho it usually seems the customer had a great point and the junior employee just has a big head. owner was a nice guy but he is plagued with fools running the shop daily. they know little to nothing about the animals and get things wrong twice before you slowly instruct them again how to get it correct. and basic math is impossible for any employee there.

There are no off putting odors, there aren't any cobwebs strewn around, everything is tidy and well organized. When it comes to livestock and to include plants, the tanks are crystal clear, the livestock is vibrant and healthy, and again...just perfectly maintained. You can absolutely tell that the owner and all the employees take great pride and love in what they do. All the employees are not only approachable but very informative and honest. Just really good, down to earth people doing what they love. I bought a dog here for $450 brought it home introduced it to my whole family including my 4 year…read moreold son. We then found out that the dog had giardiasis which is contagious and it was by its brothers and sisters at the pet store previous to purchase. This disease causes extreme weight loss and even death. My son and myself we're extremely attached to this dog having her for a couple days. We had to pay to get medication and later found out that the dog needed to be isolated from humans and other animals. They then told me to leave this dog alone in a room for two whole weeks. Doing this to a puppy is almost like animal abuse. We were forced to give the dog back to the pet store because there was another dog at home and it would be nearly impossible to keep dog in isolation. We were then told that we could not receive our full refund because there's no guarantee that the dog would be disease free. I would not be so much as a bag of cat food from this place. Who knows what's in the cat food. This is really sad that they are doing this to living creatures. My son was extremely upset and I could not stop crying when giving the dog back. This is not a way to run a business if you want to keep customers and not hurt people or animals you have to be willing to pay the price when you do make a mistake. No stars 0 only got half of my money back not to mention all the money spend on accessories and food for the dog. Don't go here.
