Mark is very knowledgeable and patient with new students, but pushes you as hard as you need to be pushed. Joe, the owner and head bjj coach, is very welcoming and laid back. He explains the policies and lays everything out with no sales pitch. Make no mistake, this is a gym that trains fighters, not a mcdojo. No, that' is incorrect information as I never once indicated my son had MMA experience and that is…read morea flat out lie. As instructors you are to ensure the safety of children that are in your care. You failed to do that as mentioned, I saw no activity from the instructors when my son was choking. This happened repeatedly and you should be ashamed of yourselves for calling yourself an instructor. At the start of class, your main concern was to get your liability form signed so you can negligently not take care of those who signed their rights over within your martial school. Animal control should be called for your aggressive dogs that you have open to the public. As you clearly said, "don't get too close" that enough tells you they're not safe to be around the public. The schedule you mentioned is only good for your school as you can maximize profits and not have to entertain different scheduling. So what if I pay the same price for my son attending your school half the time? Right? It's all about money first. My son was not safe and I would never ever not for 1 million years, bring my son back to your school. Your school should be closed to negligence. Parents please be aware and watch these instructors very carefully as I believe their actions speak for themselves. See if they are engaged or they hang out my the clock and focus on a countdown timer. As far as instructions, and from AI, from a child psychologist's view, young kids thrive on clear, consistent guidance but don't always need constant hand-holding. In martial arts, they might need frequent reminders early on to master steps or focus, especially if they're under ten. Structured repetition builds muscle memory, so gentle cues help without overwhelming them. As they grow confidence, ease up to encourage independence. I guess the instructors Ego's are more important than what's good for young children.

My daughter has been out of the country for a month. They are refusing to refund the fee. It seems they also made my husband sign a subscription agreement for the "free" class but told him there was no fee unless he decided to continue with classes after a month. He did not decide to continue because my daughter was out of the country but they have our credit card and used it.

As a person who loves physical activity, Method can't be beaten! I enjoyed the periods of instruction and also enjoyed being part of a gym family. Shortly after I joined, my young son and daughter also started attending classes. I was impressed how Stu took the time with my kids and gave them individual attention and truly worked with them, they were not one of many. Stu and MJ also catered to my needs of a 7:30am class. I was the only student, however due to my work schedule that was the only time I could attend and they were extremely accommodating (12 months accommodating of one student). I couldn't believe the level of individual attention I received. I received more services than I signed up and paid for...I got meal prep advice, body compositions taken, goals assessed, basically a personal trainer. But not a gym personal trainer, more along the lines of a life coach/gym trainer. I'd highly recommend Method Boxing to anyone. This gym is suited for beginner to expert level boxers, kick-boxers and Jiu Jitsu , the fact that my children used to frequent the gym is a testament to that. After soccer season, my children and I are trying to work Method back into our schedules.
