Ketchup has a yellow sticky substance

This place is utterly gross. There was multiple spills of shit food. The pizza had one teaspoon of sauce and the cheese was cold as-well as 5 pounds of grease better off walking across the street and get jets! The lanes were disgusting and rigged. No good options of balls. And waited forty minutes for fries and found out they didn't even print the order yet! And the shoe types were way to big or small! Way to over priced $43 FOR TWO GAMES!!!! AND $5.39 FOR A REFILL! Staff rolled eyes at us because we asked about our order of fries that took 40 minutes!

Had a party here with work friends. It was nothing special. Drinks were good though.

By far the best pinball location in Michigan. They have almost 50, and they shoot well. This place is a destination!

Super fun. Wasn't expecting straight-up joy from a "museum" but it was a hit for me, my teen and my…read more92-year-old dad. Lots of machines to choose from, with descriptors and convenient cup holders. Our only caveat, according to my 13yo: "They should have a more advanced card-to-coin machine or card readers on the pinball machines." Agreed--tho it wld put a crimp in the old-timely mystique. I rarely carry cash and I didn't see anywhere in advance (maybe I missed it?) that I needed singles or fives instead of a credit card to get quarters... So come prepared. They do have an ATM machine. (I don't have an ATM card these days, and my debit card wouldn't work.) Next time we'll bring the jingle. PS: There are a few pool tables, too--quarters only.

i used to frequent Sparks about a decade ago -- then i fazed out of pinball a bit and moved out of…read morethe area (i mean.. only 20ish miles, but still. i'm a pud.) i recently went back with my renewed love of pinball and had a good time ... for the most part. some of the machines were quick to gulp up quarters (note: put one in at a time and make sure it registers), a few were beat up to the point of being pretty unplayable, a good number have ZERO ball save which is rough on newcomers... i was kind of bummed in a sense. especially considering the owner of these machines (who's a great guy, don't get me wrong) claims to enjoy fixing them up more than playing them. well, i play 'em, and so you know... some are a bit wonky! truly, that can be part of the fun and mystique of pinball though -- except the eating quarters thing. fuck that. anyway my favorite part about Sparks now is that Mike has a slew of new Stern pins that are Insider Connected, so you can track your progress -- i'm always a fan of that. plus, the truth is, newer really is better in the world of pinball. i've always loved many machines from the late 80s and throughout the 90s, but most of the new machines being put out now are just incredible and i appreciate Sparks having about 8 machines from 2015ish to today. all in all, i enjoy it here, and it wouldn't feel quite right without dropping $6 for a 32oz draft of labatt poured into a haggard and microplastic ladened mug. which reminds me -- a drink and a half. that's the sweet spot for getting loose and doing well on a machine. happy pinning!

Unique venue. Hard to find. In desperate need of an update and a change in employees…read more First, to find this place, you have to enter the bowling alley, forge ahead until you hit the lanes, make a left, and again, forge ahead and make a left into the arcade. At the rear of the arcade, there will be a large, impeding, angry bouncer who will make no attempt to be nice or professional, a real Richard. Second, once you get into the venue, you will be accosted with 80's & Christmas decor. WTH?! We were there for a Halloween show, and there are snowflakes hanging everywhere from the ceiling. I didn't mind the 80's decor, but I did sort of mind that is was original from the 80's. Reasonably priced drinks (ONLY DOMESTIC, hope you like Budweiser), but the bartenders definitely play favorites to the obvious locals who don't have to deal with Richard the bouncer either. Bathrooms were bright, and mostly clean. But the women's restroom only had 3 toilets, and one blocked off as out of order. Unless there's a must see band playing ONLY here, I doubt I'll be back.

This is probably the most random setup of any concert venue I had ever been to, but somehow it…read moreworks. My boyfriend and I came here last night to see the Queensryche concert; he's a big fan, I had never been but I listened to a few videos/songs on youtube beforehand and they seemed decent. We arrived at Diesel to find out it's in a STRIP MALL ... and even better, it's in a BOWLING ALLEY in said strip mall. Haha! Very unexpected. You enter the bowling alley and then veer to the left, you'll see a sign that says Diesel. When we entered Diesel, there's a small area with a bar, a stage, and seating. I was pretty happy about the seating, actually, because usually most concerts I go to are standing-room only. However, after the first band played (Elsie Binx, who was pretty good), I went to go use the bathroom - located in a separate area inside Diesel - and noticed something interesting: there was a whole OTHER stage, much larger than the first stage, in a separate room, and a DIFFERENT band was playing there! So random. Needless to say, Queensryche ended up playing on that stage, so I alerted my boyfriend and we switched rooms. Overall a fun concert venue, although I wish they had signs or something regarding the other stage. There were *six* openers for Queensryche so I'm guessing 3 of them played that room and 3 of them played the smaller room ... we only saw 3 of the bands total though, 4 if you include Queensryche.
