(Just to note, we had already reached out to several local contractors, but none gave us the confidence to move forward. We always had lingering doubts--whether it was about pricing, professionalism, or trustworthiness.) Javier, the owner, quickly arranged an in-person visit to check out our yard. He shared timelines, and pricing possibilities with us. He also collaborates with a landscape designer, Charlene Brum (www.brumlandscape.design.com). Working with Charlene was such a smooth and stress-free experience (everything I needed!). She created CAD plans to scale, which really eased my worries, confusion and all the unknown. Charlene was incredibly patient, clear in her communication, and so friendly. It honestly felt like talking to a friend who was just as excited as I was to help with my yard. Once the work started, there was no stopping the team! Javier has a fantastic crew that works hard and cohesively. Fernando, who led our project onsite, was very respectful and always took the time to make sure I understood his answers whenever I had questions. It was also heartwarming to see Fernando and crew mentoring a young adult on the team, teaching him about the trade and safety. My husband and I were consistently impressed with the daily progress, especially since some of my neighbors had shared less-than-ideal experiences with their own yard projects. Leo the owner personally went to check the trees and the next day Sarah emailed me the estimate. The price is reasonable and affordable. I asked for four trees to be pruned but had a last minute addition of a pine tree, and they accommodate it right there and then. Jose and Jorge came at 9am as what I've been told and worked on the trees, Leo went in to check with them after an hour which I like because it shows that he values his customer and making sure that the work is being done. The guys are very respectful of the property, they're polite and they went above and beyond what's needed to be done. They left my property clean. Sarah is the one who communicates with me through phone about things like payment, and added last minute services. She's kind and awesome, answering all my questions and making sure everything is done according to my liking. All in all, I am very much satisfied with their work, work ethics and their service, I'm glad I went with them. Definitely gonna be my go to for all my yard and tree trimming needs. The timeline can be a little longer due to the fact that they do the work with a minimal crew but both the process of working with them and the quality of the end result is amazing. They clearly take pride in their work and it shows everyday they're on the job. I recently had to rehaul my entire large dry wasteland of a backyard and needed pavers, sod grass, walkway, a garden, lights, you name it. I got quotes from several places but they either could only do parts of the job (only pavers, only grass etc), came in at some ridiculous amount, or were booked out for several months + only wanted projects at a high minimum. Yanez Gardening came in at a wayy lower price and were able to do ALL aspects of the projects. They even have a nursery in San Martin you can pick plants that you can't easily get elsewhere (ex. I got a mulberry tree from there). They can do anything. My father in law and mom both use their gardening services and have had friends who had driveway projects and tree trimming services done by them and they have all been extremely satisfied. I have really enjoyed my experience working with this team and you cannot beat the price or quality of their work!
