I've been trying to cancel my insurance since December!! The insurance company says I have to go…read morethru them to cancel, since I got from them. I've had over 20 calls to them, been promised call backs. Even told by Reymac Jan 3 they can finalize officially by sending a letter to them. I did. I'm still getting charged. 2 days ago Reymac advised that their usual insurance agent unfortunately had a medical episode months ago. Which I can understand but business still need to be handled and I can't afford to keep wasting money. FINALLY Today someone directly from Safeco insurance understood my struggles and see I called them directly a couple times before and decided to help. I appreciate him. Meanwhile, I was still waiting on a call back since yesterday with Reymac. This has been a headache to deal with. Update: still active. Guess me sending another email directly to safeco as advised didn't work either. Still didn't get call back from Reymac. I'll be calling for the 100th time when they open.

Dealing with claims and getting support feels like an uphill battle, leaving me frustrated and dissatisfied with their services. They say like good neighbors State Farm is there... I must not have any neighbors at all....

Michael Pikora almost cost me $24,000.00 from forgetting to add the proper water damage insurance…read morefor my almost 400k condo. To make matters worse, when I called him to see if I was covered, he or his staff was no where to be found. Then when he finally contacted me, he told me that I had the proper insurance and I was covered and for me to file a claim because I was covered. So I filed a claim and was shocked when my claim was denied. I appealed my claim being denied, and discovered during the appeal process that Michael had lied about adding the proper insurance coverage. You see, Michael thought I was covered because we discussed making sure I had the proper water damage insurance because I had a 40k finished basement. So when I called him, he thought I was covered, but the appeal process confirmed that he NEVER added the proper insurance. So I filed a complaint against him for failing to add the proper policy and for lying to me. It was at this point that I was informed the water from outside was not covered, but the water from my water tank was covered. So although the insurance company wouldn't cover the whole 24k in damages, they would cover 16k of the damages. I immediately had my insurance transfered to another insurance agent. But while the policy was in the transit process, my new 100k Yukon Denali came and I had to get insurance. Again, Michael or his office staff was no where to be found so I had to call the 800 customer service line to get insurance on my new truck. But did Michael knowing that I didn't want him as my agent anymore transfer my insurance to the new agent? NO HE DIDN'T. Michael has been holding my policy hostage and still collecting monthly payments from it. When my new agent called Michael to transfer the policy, Michael again lied and said he would process the paperwork to have the one truck policy transfered to the new agent where my home and three other vehicles are now under. Even after I called the 800 number to have the truck policy transfered to the new agent, Michael continues to hold my truck policy hostage to collect money from it, despite the fact that he wasn't even around or available to write the policy. Michael Pikora is a lying crook stealing policies from other agents. Michael Pikora office is a hole in the wall that is basically set up as a phone bank to take phone messages. The office is basically unmanned and him and his staff work from home most of the time. Pop up at his office and you will see for yourself. I posted a bad review years ago and him and his wife repeatedly called me and begged me to take it down and promised that I would never have a problem reaching him again, so I took it down and everything they both said was all lies. Michael Pikora is such a bad agent, that he had my almost 400k condo with just 50k replacement cost. My new agent said my basement alone will take over 40k to redo if there was a fire. The new agent immediately corrected all of Michael Pikora mistakes. State Farm is an excellent insurance company and they have been good to me and always treated me fair with any of my claims. But Michael Pikora is a horrible insurance agent, and trust me, if you stay with him, you're going to take a big lost. Don't wait until something bad happens to find out either, because it will coat you a lot of money when it happens.

I used to always go to the LA Insurance on Jefferson which closed down, probably cause it wasn't close enough to a Secretary of State. The dude behind the bullet proof glass (this is Detroit) was always so easy going and talkative. Really great customer service. Fast forward to 2019, my Explorer died and I bought another high mileage vehicle from a lot on the West side of town. I started a new policy with an LA insurance out there and just had a horrible experience with them. (They're all independent contractors so you can pay online but if you make a physical payment you need to go to the same franchisee. I usually paid online but something got fouled up, I went in person to straighten it out, and they failed to do that. Policy lapsed, but that's another review.) Long story short - I know it's too late for that just like anytime people say that - I started a new policy at the LA Insurance in Hamtown and lo and behold the dude from the Jefferson spot migrated over there. I just learned his name is Pierre today. Not what I would have guessed but Pierre is cool af and pretty much the only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars. (I can't give an auto insurance place 5 stars, just on general principle .) Even if there's a couple people ahead of me, Pierre doesn't take long to get to me, or the person behind me if they get there after me. If someone is missing paperwork he'll ask if they mind if he starts on the next customer while they go out to their ride to get what they need. Pierre is mad efficient like that. Oh, and the T Mobile is right next door so I can knock out my phone bill while I'm over here, too.
