I use turbo tax every year and every year turbo tax gets more expensive and my return gets lower, so this year I figured "why am I going to pay over $300 for a bad return?". Less then an hour later, my taxes were filed, I got 3x the return I was expecting, I paid significantly less then I would for turbo tax (I DoorDash time to time and TurboTax charges you 2x because you are now an "independent contractor"), and I feel like I even walked out understanding the forms a little better. I try to settle the amount and they end up harassing you, ruining your credit and getting a court order to garnish your wages...for a medical bill. I now owe over $900 in filing fees and other unnecessary fees. I've had other debt collectors who actually try and help relieve your debt. I can't say the same about King's Credit. When I talked to Alex on the phone he quoted me around 300 to 400 to work on my credit for a year when I went the next day he charged me over $700. After the day that I left his office I never once heard back from him and there was no changed my credit report that he had done. Every time I would get call or letters I would reach out to him and all he would tell me was not to respond and to keep an eye out on the mail from the credit bureaus. I never got anything from the credit bureaus and I have lived in the same address since then. I fixed my own credit by contacting the collection agencies and asking them to do a paid to delete some thing that I literally learned off the Internet. I also applied for a secured credit card and kept that utilization under 10% which made my credit jump high. After working on my credit since then I'm now able to get approved for anything that I applied for but that was not with his help or waste of money. I would not even go to him as an insurance agent because I asked him for a quote for car insurance and he never even responded to that. I would 100% stay away from this place
