Unfortunately I lost my wedding ring. Saying that I was devastated would be an understatement. I was so upset and virtually in denial for almost a week. Finally my husband who was not very happy that I lost it wanted to cheer me up so he suggested that we start looking for another one. We went to where he had originally purchased it and found nothing except a sales person who did not know how to do math or the price of their jewelry. We went to several other stores in the mall and quickly noticed that even though the names were different, the merchandise was all the same. We checked out two other stores that were non-national chains and one was determined to force an "antique" look on me while the other wanted to charge an arm, leg, kidney, and lung for something that looked very much like something from a mall chain store. I had pretty much given up and declared that I would just wear key ring since I could not find anything that I liked. Luckily this lady at my work suggested that I check out Higashi. I have to admit after the experience I had throughout the week I was very pessimistic. The shop is quaint and the staff is very friendly. I saw many rings I liked and they had jewelry that was truly unique. I finally saw the ring for me! It is flashy enough for my husband but simple enough for me. It is a huge band of pave diamonds which is fantastic since I have small children and a big solitaire would scratch them (a problem I frequently had with my old ring). I got a beautiful ring that I will wear forever and each time I look at my ring I smile and think of my husband and I picking it out together. Since Valentine's Day is just around the corner maybe he will go back and get me some of that great Judith Ripka! If you want a beautiful, unique, and special piece of jewelry for the person who has your heart I would recommend that you go to Higashi.

After initial check-in, I went to the back for the pre-tests by the technician. Again, no wait. I went through 5 different hi-tech apparatuses, streamline. Basically I just keep rolling my chairs to the right and put my chin on each. I was again back in the waiting area in the back. Soon I was summoned into the exam room for Teladoc. The remote technician evaluated my vision correction. She was friendly and patient. Then I waited for the doctor. This was my only sizable wait but even that was only about 10 minutes. Dr. Barry went over my tests. Redid some of the vision corrections, and correctly pointed out I had a floater in the right eye! Finally, I went back to the front where a staff printed out my paperwork and took my old eyeglasses to be updated. I was told I get to have tint for free. Sweet! I was told to expect a text within 2 weeks when it's ready to be picked up. I was out of there in less than an hour. Smooth transaction and pleasant visit!

I did not have the card and told them I could call them when I got home and give them the numbers or I could send them a picture of the card. They said no I would have to reschedule.
