These guys are absolutely the worse since switching over to Republic... I have to call every week, the day AFTER my pick up day to complain my garbage or recyclables were not picked up!. All they do is put me down as a miss and someone eventually comes out in (If I am lucky) and picks up. The person coming to pick up looks all angry as if it is my fault! Been 7 weeks now and same pattern. No one from Republic can tell me why my trash is not being picked up on its scheduled day. My neighbors get picked up around the neighborhood but they dont come down my culd-de-sac! Working on getting this last batch of garbage picked up and then switching.... Hope these guys go under and fold cause they SUCK read more

Anonymous A. Thanks for your post. I have been having problems with this company for six weeks now. My garbage is supposed to get picked up on Thursdays. No one answers the phone; it goes straight to voice mail. I spoke to a rude woman two weeks ago who accused me of not putting out my bin. When you finally speak to someone there is always an excuse, trucks broke down, new driver. I'm sick of this. When my contract runs out I'm going to LMR. I left three messages in two days, two emails. All unanswered. Their customer service is bad. It's Friday almost 2:00....no garbage/recycling picked up yet. If I could give zero stars, I would. UPDATE: My garbage and recycling was picked up today (Saturday). It looked like just the driver was doing the picking up. read more

Should be negative stars. Fore regular residential service, they hardly ever come on the regular service date so cans are out in the street for multiple days. On weeks with holidays that get backed up and sometimes don't catch up for an entire week while trash piles up and blows around out in the street. When they get backed up, they don't answer their phones (they must ring off the hook) so all you can do is hope they come. Seems as though they don't have enough trucks and people. They are cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. Go with a professional service. read more

Although we were satisfied with there service for a short time Premier Disposal has quickly declined and missed several recycling pickups in the past year. It seems the customer service is not in good communication with its road crew because when you call to report a missed pickup they give you a vague pickup day that is typically incorrect. And as of late, they've been sending me text messages apologizing that service will not be on time.. my guess is due to Republic Services taking over. So when I called to cancel my service today they informed me that they will be charging us $60 ($30/ bin) to take them away.... really??? This is absurd. read more

I live right on rt. 31. The trucks drive by 30 times a day but yet I call and call and they still don't pick up my garage and recyclables. Some times It's out on the road all week and my pick up is on Tuesday. Now they just raised my bill 12.00! In one shot .. crazy, looking for another company read more

Premier Disposal - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Glen Gardner, New Jersey

Service has been lacking in recent months, days without pick up (despite calling them and was promised they would be out the next day to catch up). Management is obviously not paying attention to this at all, nor do they seem to care. read more

Waiting again to get my garbage picked up. I call and no one answers the phone. A while back I called to tell them the guys weren't emptying the garbage completely. Just reaching in and taking what they could grab. The girl made all sorts of excuses that it was a difficult physical job and hard to find help. I said so your telling me I shouldn't complain that I'm paying for a service that I'm not getting because the guys work to hard and are tired? She said she didn't want to argue with me and hung up the phone. No Stars! Terrible company! read more

I was a new customer and they didn't pick up my garbage went right past my house. I called and asked why they didn't pick up and a rude guy called back and left a voicemail complaining that I didn't follow the rules and my can has to be out by 5 am. I called and told them it was out from the night before. They never called back to acknowledge getting my message but came later in the day to pick it up. Sometimes they are a day late picking up the garbage. I stopped the service due to recycling on a separate day and only every other week. And now they are charging $50 to pick up their cans. I do not recommend this service at all. There are other services more reliable and more cordial to deal with. read more

Does not pick up at all or leaves items with zero explanation. I would like to leave less than one star. And i never leave reviews but i am so infuriated i went through all this and had to download the yelp app to leave this review. As long as we have had premiere they either do not pick up or if u are lucky pick up days late. And sometimes they do not like what u left in the can and just decide to take a few things and leave the rest. No explanation and no note or any attempt at communication so that you can decipher what they did not like. This is the second time we left them because we left and then they recently bought the company who we liked very much. Readington carting was very good and would leave a note if u did something wrong. Premiere is anything but. read more

Premier Disposal - Left in my can - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Glen Gardner, New Jersey

Premier Disposal was taken over by Republic Services. No notification was given to existing customers about the change, and garbage is not getting picked up as scheduled. Had to call a few times before getting someone on the phone. customer service rep. was helpful, but couldn't guarantee when I get my garbage picked up. read more

Beware! Contrary to their website they are no longer family run as they sold out to Republic. Last 3 weeks trash has not been picked up on scheduled day and now recycling has not been picked up. When I called "local" number, my call was rerouted to call center in AZ. Customer service representative argued with me that I didnt know what my pick up days were. Guess everyone on my street didnt know correct day either. It's a shame because Premier, when it was actually Premier, was awesome. read more

I am canceled my service with Premier Disposal due to the following issues: 1.Premier disposal never picked up my garbage and recycle on the scheduled date. I had to call each week to have the driver pick it and this took at least a week. "My neighbors started complaining about the garbage not being picked up." 2.Premier Disposal also had issues picking up extra garbage and didn't offer any solution. 3. Customer service did not provide any assistance. They just had the same excuse every week, "the driver is new and doesn't know the route". This is completely unacceptable. Customer service is the worst. Providing excuses is not the way to run a business. read more

Go with Republic Services. This company provides larger trash and recycling bins for the same exact price as Premier Disposal. Issues with Premier Disposal: -Trucks are outdated, i.e., no mechanical arm collecting garbage. -Workers will sift through your garbage and intentionally leave things behind if they are above the line on your lid, or God-forbid, not "properly bagged"... -Automatic payments don't actually work. -Drivers are not perfect, but won't make up for missed garbage pick-ups. -Takes several emails and phone calls to get anything communicated to the staff, such as cancelling a service. read more

We were customers of Smith Sanitation and Premier took over our Garbage pick up in 2015. We have been very happy with Premier and their service, the guys are great and very helpful ! Customer Service when I call to make a payment is always nice and helpful also. Thank you Premier Garbage Disposal :) read more

I should have read all the reviews. I am sitting on a mound of garbage because they have yet to pick up in going on three weeks!! What's worse, they have my money paid for another two. Disgusting and useless. read more

I recent found out that premier is owned by Republic service and there was lack of responsibility my garbage was not pick up couple of weeks and phone was not being pick up. read more

I've been a commercial customer of Premier for almost 10 years. Lately their service has gotten terrible. I have weekly service and sometimes they just don't show up but I don't become aware of this till days later when my tenants complain of an overflowing container. Repeated calls to customer service receive NO RESPONSE. I guess good customers are easy come, easy go. These guys have become arrogant clowns who clearly don't care about their customers. read more

Not reliable pick up service. They have missed 5 weeks out of 16 thus far in 2019. Do not recommend this company. No effort to compensate the cost of missed service. read more

i just literally watched this company's truck stop at my house in chalfont pa, the driver got out and took the christmas card with cash in it for whitetail disposal , my regular sanitation company-- yes i kept the card out of open view- he twisted the can around and searched for it-- i will be calling them and then the police ! read more

Stay far away from this company. Since it expanded, it is a company in grave decline. NO customer service, cannot ever get anyone on the telephone, no calls returns. TERRIBLE. read more

Premier was my garbage/recycle carrier after I switched from RVD which had sold out to Republic whose service was crappy. Premier sold out to Republic in May. Since ten I have had problems with both my garbage and recycles being picked up. There was no pick-up last week. I called Premier's number, the female answered and Identified the company as Republic. I advised her that I am Premier customer whose garbage and recycles have picked up. This female advised me that Republic called me with notification that my curbside collection has been changed. This is a LIE. I advised the female that no calls were received nor no messages were at my house. Female insisted that Republic notified me until I advised her that I am retired and at home and no pick-ups for both trash and recycles have been made by Republic in my neighborhood for Premier or Republic customers as evident by the containers outside of the homes. So far I have not received any information from Republic about my pick-up days and I do not know when my trash will be picked up.I will continue to document Republic's lack of service and contact the appropriate authorities in my town and in NJ read more

Switched from Raritan Valley Disposal to Readington Carting a few years ago. They were great for awhile but they sold out right away to Premier, who have been awful and keep raising prices and cutting back on services. Been waiting since last Thursday for recycling pick-up. When I called (twice), phone answered by Republic Services from somewhere outside this area (she asked me what time it was here). Premier has been bought out by Republic and I was told that Premier just walked away from their customers. Republic is playing catch-up. We asked about a credit and she said she'd make a note (we'll see). I also read that Raritan Valley Disposal is now owned by Republic, so we're back to where we started. read more

This company should be avoided at all costs, they miss picking up my garbage at least once a month, the other times they are a day late. Forget about recycling, they keep changing the date. They leave the cans in the middle of the street, garbage on the lawn and road. If you try to call it goes to voice mail. I've been trying to get in touch with them to quit, they never return my calls. read more

I have already read a review on Premier which is a very similar experience I have had with this company. They have been unresponsive to our calls. In fact they removed our garbage can and will not return our calls to get it back. We were very pleased with Smith Sanitation for 15 years, too bad you sold the business to a company that is not customer focus. Premier is horrible, stay away! read more

Worst company I have ever dealt with! Their drivers are incompetent (constantly forgetting to pick up my recyclables even though there are other Premier customers on my street) and their customer service department is nasty when you call to complain. Their customer service team takes a unique approach to customer complaints - blaming the customer first before they investigate the issue. On the bright side, after living in Clinton Township for 20 years, I found out where the county recycling center was located! Since Premier has not picked up my recyclables in 6 weeks, I loaded up my truck and brought them to the dump myself. Thanks Premier! "Incompetent and Nasty" - that should be Premier's new ad campaign. Or maybe "Our prices are low because we don't actually provide any service!". read more

Terrible service, especially with recycling. Never show up on scheduled day and just maybe they might come the next day but usually not. I live in Union twsp and we are sick of it. And also terrible customer service as you can never actually talk to a person on the phone. read more

Actual rating is ZERO! Horrible customer service, rude people. They don't respond to calls or emails, generally horrible customer Use LMR, much nicer and more accommodating. read more

BEWARE! We had this service for 16 years. Six months after we cancelled, they sent us a bill for $50 for a "Tote Removal Fee". They threatened to send it to collections and mess with our credit score if we didn't pay. EXTORTION!! And I agree with all of the comments about changing recycle to every other week, abhorrent customer service, etc. Save yourself the aggravation and call another company!! read more

Terrible customer service. We have a dumpster which gets picked up once a week on Mondays. I realized on Wednesday that they did not come and called for them to come or give me a credit. The nasty woman that I spoke with told me I'd just have to wait until next Monday and a credit was not possible. This was not how we were treated by Republic in the years we had them, so waiting for our contract to expire so we can switch back. read more

They took over the service at our home and consistently picked up the garbage and recyclables. Our problems occurred as we sold our house and attempted to schedule final pick up. After multiple confirmations concerning the final pick up date in the middle of the month, they never made an effort. On our way to closing on the house called to get them to follow through with the final pick up. Even though this pick was scheduled and paid for, they basically did not care as we were no longer their customer. Avoid a future problem and pick another outfit. read more

An absolute ripoff of a disposal service--I definitely advise folks to look elsewhere. We, too, were satisfied customers of Smith Sanitation for many years. When Premier acquired them, they immediately changed us from weekly recycling pick up to every other week, and when I called, they refused to adjust pricing for the lesser service. They have done a consistently poor weekly job, leaving debris blowing through the neighborhood. Recently, we were approached by another local provider, who charged $40 less per quarter, for the same 96 gallon can plus two bags weekly, a return to weekly curbside single stream recycling, and truly pleasant customer service. They were straightforward about their promotional pricing, and clear about their service. They dropped off our new receptacle when they said they would. I look forward to honest, consistent service that we can rely on. When I called Premier to cancel service, she immediately asked if we were switching to LMR Disposal, and offered to match their pricing. If they had responded to my request four months ago with this offer, I might have considered, but their poor and reduced service made it a no brainer. I repeated that we wanted to cancel, and she said the truck would be by "some time next week" to retrieve their can. I have just received a 35$ "fee" for them to pick up the can!!! As we never agreed to this ludicrous charge, and were certainly not notified at any time (even last week when I cancelled service!), we will obviously dispute it. Beware of Premier Disposal--sloppy, overcharged, and dishonest. You have plenty of other providers to choose from! read more

Glen Gardner....The worst possible service provider and customer service one could get for the money! Never on time...then get hung up on several times before you get through...to tell them for the third time its been 5 days not picked up..then they throw your can around Like a 5 year old having a fit! You gotta laugh! ;-) read more

I wish I could give them a zero star!!! Horrible service and horrible customer service. My old garbage company was taken over by premier late last year. They kept the same price of over 30 dollars per month but changed the service for recycling. They started to cone every two weeks instead on every week like the old company did. When I called to cancel, they says since we are coming every other week we would like to retain you and you can pay us 24 dollars monthly. I accepted but I wasn't happy with service, they are always late and something even miss picking up, on top of that I got a bill and noticed they are still charging me 99 for 3 months. I called. The customer service rep was rude. She asked who I spoke with 6 months ago about price reduction. I told her that I don't remember it was a while ago. She told me that they can't do anything about it since I don't remember her name. Can you believe it !!!! I said that I have consistently giving them 72 dollars which is 24 per month should prove that I spoke to someone. But she was talking to me like I was lying. Unbelievable.!!!! When I told them I am going to cancel service, she said on tip in my bill ( which is now 99 dollar because they have poor process and don't care about customers, I have to pay additional 40 buck just for them to pick up the garbage cans. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEIR SERVICES !!!! read more

Premier Disposal acquired my disposal company, Smith & Smith, and their assets, in January 2015. Since their policy is to pick up garbage and recyclables on different days, I switched to Sanico. However, I had paid Smith & Smith for the entire first quarter. Premier refuses to refund me, claiming that it is S&S's responsibility. I was an asset they acquired and, therefore, it is their responsibility to make the refund. It appears that they are slowly disappearing from the area. read more

I signed the contract with Premier Disposal in December 2015. Despite an agreement, it took them about week just to deliver dumpsters. They emptied them few times but as soon as they got first payment, they stopped picking up waste and recycling at all. I called the company and told them that dumpsters are full for few weeks. They said that this is impossible. I told them that I have pictures of full dumpsters with date and time. At this point they change their story and told me that dumpsters were blocked by cars and driver does not have access to them. I have the security cameras outside of the building and video record for every day that they claim that access was blocked. It was not. Next time when dumpsters were full again for more than 2 weeks, I send them a fax. They said that never received it. Next time it happened, I switched my fax machine to print confirmation receipt that message was successfully delivered. They still denied the obvious but were very good in sending bills. I requested to adjust the bill based on services that were actually rendered. They told me that I should pay them even if my dumpsters are not emptied at all. If somebody wants to pay money for waste removal and in return have full dumpsters and deal with liars, this company is the best choice. read more

If I could give them a negative star rating, I would. This is at least the third time they did not pick up our garbage even though we always pay them on time. What are we paying for? We're paying money for a service they're failing to provide. My advise is do not go with Premier Disposal. They are terrible! read more

Premier Disposal has merged with Republic Services. It took them three weeks to advise me of the change because the main office for Republic is in Arizona. The merger took place on 5/25/2019 and they have missed my pickup every week since. The price was good because the owner, Michael Dinardi lived in Hillsborough, NJ and valued his customers. The only reason I found out before I received notification was because I called to report my garbage not being picked up, and they answered Republic Services. But I was assured that my scheduled day wasn't going to change and the cost shouldn't go up. But I'm not holding my breath on the prices, since I originally had Raritan Valley Disposal, but left them when they merged with Republic and my costs tripled. Like everything else in Hillsborough Township, NJ, we are a captive audience, to telephone service, cable TV, and now it looks like perhaps garbage disposal too. read more

I was surprised to see the negative reviews. I've found them to be very responsive and helpful. Due to a family emergency, a one week trip turned into an eight week trip so I called Premier, explained the situation I was in, and asked that they pick up my recyclables in addition to the trash. I was told it wasn't a problem at all and that they would include the charge in my next bill. Good service! read more

Have never ever had a problem with Premier Disposal and the rates compared to some of the other companies around here are very competitive!! We use them for both regular garbage pickup and recycling. The office staff is very responsive and it is nice to see the same guys on the truck after all these years. (They have even waited a few minutes (more than once) in front of my house when I didn't get my garbage out in time to see if I was bringing it out.) Highly recommend!! read more

So far so good. I pay $22 month in Hillsborough for once a week pick up. I was a little leery at first of one pick up a week since my last hauler was twice a week. But I have a 96 gallon tote and for a family of five has been fine. read more
